op, i do feel you because my husband too is not domesticated. tthink it just has to do with up bringing, his father too is like that. i have accepted him the way he is and thank goodness my kids are growing real fast. i also have two nannies who assist with the kids and house work. it's well with us. the good Lord will always supply all the needed grace. |
voltron: I wonder why God even allows this to happen then jumps in at the last second to perform his miracle of making his disciples save themselves.. not good cos sometimes he fails at itGod did allow it happen so He can prove Himselve faithful. |
To err is human, to forgive is divine. Please let by gone be by gones. Try to move on with your life and forget the past. |
I think she feels she will be better off without you since she makes more money than you do. My advice is that you both seek professional help. This is way above the two of you. All the best. |
So touching, may the experience enternal peace forever |
Hmm, hard nut to crack. She made a mistake by not confiding in you when the lecturer was pressurising her.if she did together you would have found a way out of it. It's too late to cry now so it's left for you to decide if you can forgive her or not but remember no human being is perfect. From all you have said, she do sound like a nice girl hence my two cent, forgive, forget and move on with your relationship. She has learnt her lesson. |
I feel terribly bad because even adults find it difficult controlling themselves when they are purging and vomiting. That woman in just desperately wicked and I do associate her wickedness with poverty. I pray God this night to keep us alive to take care of our little ones until they grow to full maturity. Amen |
kulyie: Smh women should take care of their kids for goodness sakes and stop leaving them in the care of relatives, jeezdid you read the story at all? The little girl's mother died in 2010. |
eyenCalabar: Sounds real sad. But who should be consoling the other at this point in time? Is it you the child consoling her or she should be the one consoling you? Personally, I feel her crying is not just because she lost your dad. There is something she is not telling you. Maybe she knows the real cause of your fathers death that's why it pains her so much any time she remembers it or maybe she had the opportunity to stop your dad from passing on but she didn't. Just find a way and ask her some questions. It only when you know the real cause of her crying too much before you can stop her. It's not just his death.Kia, you are so mean. Guess you don't know what it means to loss a loved one. |
i love this |
@ ChairCover, am moved to tears by your act of kindness to someone you have never met. I only pray the good Lord to bless and reward you a million ford. Thanks for challenging me posotively. |
chikeorji123: God bless u my sister..may good Lord give you more grace and wisdom to enjoin ur marriage to the fullness.Lol, Very many thanks. The good Lord will also increase you on all sides. |
What I love most about my dad is his very caring nature. He loves we all to a fault and till date even though we are all married and working, he still calls very often to find out how we and his grandchildren are doing. Just a very sweet man. May God continue to keep and protect him for me. |
The world is now liberal, gone are those days when women use to stay at home to take care of children. Once a woman is educated, there is every possibility that she gets a good job and there is no law that say the man must earn more when the both start woman. The woman might just be better favored out there. Maintaining the right attitude is just what should count . |
In my organization most of the single ladies take home a minimum of 200,000 naira monthly, go to banks the same thing is obtainable. It will therefore be very difficult for this ladies to say they will marry men who are richer than them except they want to marry their colleagues which is also not allowed. I personally earn more than my man but it has never been an issue. He works very hard as a construction engineer and still gives me monthly allowance for the upkeep of the family. I keep my money but also contribute greatly to family projects. Who contributes more has never been an issue because I know I am just privileged to be working where I am. By the way I got the job while married to him. I performs my duties as a wife and mother perfectly and my husband sees me as a gift from above. My advice to ladies who earn more than their men is that they should not let the present situation get into their heads as the tables can turn around tomorrow. |
The good Lord who hears and answers prayers will surely cause you to smile very soon. |
I think the problem is most women enter into marriage with a wrong predisposition about their mil. They begin to see her as a problem even when the poor innocent woman does not pose as one. It's normal that mils get to be a little jealous when another woman comes to collect the sons which they have always held very close to their bosoms but we as wives are suppose to understand, show them love and also let them know that together we will build one big happy family. My mother in law? I love her so much and she loves me and my children just as much. She will rather pay me a visit than visit her own daughters even though we all stay in the same town. She does things even my own mother will not do for me. I just pray God to continue to keep her for me. |
I see it as transfer of aggression. The mother's inability to provide for the poor boy is making her take it out on him. Just very unfortunate.she is a disgrace to motherhood. |
Since you feel so bad about it, confront him so you have some peace. Don't go out to make a fight with him. Let it just be a gentle reminder so he will know you have forgotten about the money. If he chooses to pay after then good and fine but if not, leave him for God. At least you would have laid bare your mind. Personally experience has taught me not to lend out money because people don't like to pay back debts. If you ask me to lend you N20,000 I will tell you sorry I'm hard up and can only give you N2,000. In my heart I will know it's a free gift but won't let you know, if you bring it back, I will tell you not to bother, if you don't, then you will also know that you will never come back. All in all tell the spirit of the Almighty to lead you and take control, am sure you will then get the best way out. |
I keep quiet cos if I try talking I end up crying |
Nice one, thanks for the reminder, but my hubby for one will still complain if the house is not thorougly cleaned. I just pray God to give us the grace to me able to combine it all. |
Thanks. Nice one. Can one combine more than one therapy? |
It's not peculiar to your kid, most kids that age like to pick up objects into their mouth. Your duty is to be extra vigilant. Watch closely and keep your house as neat as humanly posible.sterilise and disinfect his play toys often. |
When we initially got wedded I use to do the washing while he did the ironing but as the years rolled in, children came along and work schedule became more demanding he told me to stop and started taking the clothes to the launderer. All in all there is nothing wrong in washing for your hubby, I see it in the same light as cooking for him. |
You didn't mention the financial position of your hubby. Is he well to do and just does not like the idea of you going back to school or money is he major concern? If he does not just like the idea then getting a job may not even make him change his mindset. Have a heart to heart talk with him and find out the main reason while he does not want you to further for now. If finance is the problem then try your posible best to get yourself a job,no matter what the take home may be then other things can follow. Most importantly work in harmony with your hubby,he now comes before your parents. |
My first pregnancy, I so loved taking garri with just cold water. I will rather take garri for breakfast, lunch, dinner than eat any other meal. Second pregnancy was this sugar flattened kulikuli they sell in the north. All my office colleagues knew me for it and where always getting it for me. Funny when I remember how even the messangers and cleaners will always on their own get it for me. |
I think first bank is just it now o, they may not offer plenty of interest but be rest assured that your cash is secured and there will be no hidden charges. They are a bank that comply strickly with CBN regulations. Try them today and you will never have cause to complain about Banking services again. Forget that they are old school o, that's what gives them the edge. |
It does not kill o, it won't kill you either, tell yourself you will always give it to him when ever he wants it. Forget about your tiredness and develop a positive attitude towards it. Take it as your part of daily routing. Can you be too tired to get up and prepare your kids for school? Just look at it in that angle and also pray God to give you the grace that comes from above. On your own you cannot make it but with God on your side you will give him the best of what he wants no matter how tired you are. |
Your case is pathetic but I will still advice you come back home and get medically treatment for yourself so you don't end up dying in silence. Life may not be easy when you return but I tell you, you will survive. Take the board step and have your health restored back. Tell God to make a way for you upon your arrival here and He will not disappoint you. Cheers. |
