I'm expecting 'true' Muslims to come and defend their blood gulping religion with more lies. Maybe they will say true Muslims do not lie to strangers or that true Muslims do not kill their neighbours. Op, I can only say keep the faith. Glad you're wiser now. Never ever recite the Muslim creed. It is your passport to eternal damnation. May God's will be done in your life. |

asala1:Selective blindness. You fish out the part where God told the Israelites to war against a nation but you turn a blind eye to the reasons He told them to fight and destroy, you turn a blind eye to the fact that God also punished the Israelites by sending foreign nations to kill them and take many of them into captivity, you become blind where the Bible says that God punished any Israelite for killing or deceitfully dealing with their neighbour even if it was they did it to a foreigner living among them, your eyes become shut when you come to the part where God commanded the Israelites to love their neighbour as themselves which applies to people living in other regions. Pity you have to limit the use of your eyes in things concerning God. 2 Likes |

Weah96:Ok. That said, lemme ask you 2 questions. Jesus, before His incarnation, was He white or black? Secondly, since there are various countries and peoples and Jesus could only appear among one to save all mankind, in your opinion was His choosing to come through Israel an act of partiality or favouritism? |
Religion / Re: Seduced By Fifty Shades Of Grey by torchwave: 9:00am On Feb 25, 2015 |
Goes to show that the devil is working tirelessly seeking whom to devour. I have since filtered the things I watch or read or listen to as I have learnt that my senses are the gateways of spiritual edification or manipulation as well as being the agents of spiritual upliftment or pollution for we are not ignorant of the devices of the devil. The implications of this movie is fatally detrimental to the values and health of the society especially in the area of sex. It grants the licence to engage in every unrestrained perverse tendency of the sexual appetite even if it means forcefully deriving gratification. And again, what sexually immoral movie does not? I hope this message makes front page. 1 Like |
Religion / Re: Why Is The Name Jesus Not Effective In My Nightmares? by torchwave: 7:50am On Feb 25, 2015 |
johnydon22:Guess again. No one has seen fairies because they are pure work of someone's imagination. However, it is an undeniable fact that hell exists through the countless testimonies and experiences of living and dead witnesses. Yeah, even if you doubted ten different people who said the same thing, can you doubt ten thousand strangers who have corroborated the same testimonies? Hell is no myth like Fairytopia which has no single living or dead witness of its existence. Think about that. The saying is true that if they don't believe the prophets, they will not believe even if one rose from the dead. |

johnydon22:Perfectly natural reaction to one who never gives a thought to his eternal wellbeing. You think when you die you will expire into nothingness like vapour? Lol. One day, you'll be 50 billion years old and still endlessly counting but not here...it is either in heaven or hell...be wise forever than be wise for a moment. |

At least, you ladies now know that demonic possession, attack and affliction are not racial or geographic specific. That's why whether black or white, graduate or illiterate, Indian or Australian, British or Cameroonian, our only safety in the world is abiding in Christ Jesus. |
Religion / Re: Why Is The Name Jesus Not Effective In My Nightmares? by torchwave: 10:28pm On Feb 24, 2015 |
johnydon22:Lol. First, since when did you become J.R.Tolkien, the writer of TLOTR? Secondly, who has testified to seeing Gandalf, Legolas, Hobbits, Orcs and so on beyond the pages of the book as living reality, as truly existing beings? You? Thirdly, if one has claimed to see them in reality, who is their witness? There are millions of witnesses all over the world to the existence of Jesus Christ and so so many to the existence of heaven and hell. Fourthly, it is widely categorized as fiction by which the original writer rose to fame in his time being his only work of literature. None of the places or names in that book has any present proof or material in real life indicating their true existence because they're just work of the imagination. Can you say the same thing as the Bible? |
Religion / Re: Why Is The Name Jesus Not Effective In My Nightmares? by torchwave: 10:15pm On Feb 24, 2015 |
Op, I'm inclined to agree with those who cited sin as the reason for the ineffectiveness of the name Jesus in your dreams. Nobody is perfect but we can be holy. Holiness is not only absence of sin but quick repentance and avoidance of sin. Remember, fall we must but we must not remain in that fallen state, rise up and continue walking by repenting of your sins and continuing on the road of salvation. When the devil has nothing in you, a command in the name of Jesus will make him obey you willy nilly. |

Weah96:Why not go ahead and do so? Give the characters substance and reality that goes beyond the pages of the book like the Bible so that millions of people all over the world and in every century would testify even with their lives to witnessing them as not just 'characters' but living reality they have heard, spoken to and seen just like millions have heard, spoken to and seen God the Father, Jesus Christ, angels, demons, Satan - 'characters' in the Bible... If you can do that...then you're entitled to whatever you call yourself. |

smartn09:Clearly not so smart. Whoever gave you the illusion of joy in hell? Like I said, the devil will continue to stuff you with lies till you end up in his cursed infernal kingdom, an eternally damned soul. Besides that, Satan is impossibly incapable of an atom of love. He hates God, Man, Angels, his demons and himself. Lol. You're a learner. 1 Like |

Weah96:Weah96, in Christ there is no white or black or Jew or slave or master or distinction of persons. He is the God and Creator of all and He loves all without partiality. That is why He came to die for the sins of the whole world. It makes no difference if He came in a white or black skin. He deserves my love and worship not only for what He did for me which nobody could do but also for the fact that He is my Creator, the one true God. 1 Like |

Op, give your life to Christ. The Devil has been a deceiver since the very beginning. He has nothing to offer you but lies, lies and more lies so as to lead you to your untimely and eternal death. Whatever he gives you is a 'Greek gift' in order to lure you to your demise. Turn from following Satan in whom is nothing good and find life and peace in the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. 2 Likes |
Religion / Re: I Masturbated While Fasting, does It Have Any Effect On My Fast? by torchwave: 2:06pm On Feb 23, 2015 |
I believe sin may hinder the progress of a fast but it does not necessarily terminate it. That does not imply tolerance of sin in our lives, especially when fasting. Op, learn to control your body by killing your sinful desires when they arise. Trust me, it works 100%. I speak from experience. The Bible says that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its feelings and desires (Galatians 5:24). This particular verse is one of the greatest keys to defeating sin in the flesh constantly. Thus, the desires, when satisfied, lead to sin and sin itself, when it is ripe, leads to death. On the contrary, the death of your sinful desires transforms you from the slave of sin to the master over sin; you are now able to have control of your body where sin used to be in the driver's seat. To conquer your flesh, cut off its power source of sin by putting your sinful desires to death everyday. Then you'll see how easy it is to overcome sin. You're God's kid. Sin should obey you and not the other way round. |

Zikdik:Now, which of the gods has revealed himself to people of various races, colours, nationalities, cultures and background like Jesus, the almighty God, did? Which of the gods has made at least a thousand people see him or her so as to erase doubts in the minds of people of their existence? Which of them answers by fire like the I AM? Which of them has been witnessed in the afterlife by thousands upon thousands of men, women and children of various nations down through the ages? Which of them can stand against the Alpha and Omega, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ? Which of them has their exploits been written and witnessed at the same time like God's? Tell me, is there a god among the millions of gods you know that is like the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? 4 Likes 1 Share |

Jeromejnr:I'm so glad you have a picture of what I'm talking about - the impenetrable darkness and the eternal separation from God which is worse than every torment in hell. The wisest people in history are those who do anything not to end up in that cursed place. If I had gradually descended, I would have felt the fear no doubt but I was taken into hell at the speed of thought. Nevertheless, fear, not like the world knows, is not a stranger to that place. God, by His grace, also made you a witness to hell. Do share it with us if you have the go-ahead in your spirit. You just might help save a soul from eternal damnation. 2 Likes |
