PLANTAIN MOIN-MOIN

INGREDIENTS
~ Over-ripe plantain
~Crayfish powder
~Red bell pepper
~Chopped onions
~Salt
~Chilli powder
~Seasoning cubes
~Palm oil
~Water
~Plantain flour/Optional


INSTRUCTIONS

1.....Peel your over-ripe plantain and blend it with the chopped onions, red bell pepper and water.

2..... In a bowl, pour your plantain mixture and mix in the palm oil, chilli powder, salt, crayfish powder and seasoning cubes... At this stage you can decide to add your plantain flour if using.

3.....Place the plantain mixture in a foil container, banana leaves or ceramic bowl for steaming.

4.....Add water in a pot and bring to boil, the water should not be above your container....Place your plantain moin moin to steam for about 30 minutes.. Take it out and allow to cool down a bit, and serve.

Plantain Moin-Moin can be eaten on its own.

Note:
●Some people do add corn, cooked beans, or plantain flour while mixing the plantain mixture.

●You can also bake it using oven.

When he comes to your place, give him cold water to drink. If there is no light, give him lukewarm water. When you go to his place, make sure you eat well before reaching there. Don't buy him gifts. Call him on WhatsApp call (don't use your credit to call).

Reactions follows as lady get unlucky as social media post does not go down well with the commissioner for Water Resources in Kogi State, Abdulmumuni Danga.

Further reports emphasized that Elizabeth was brutalised, battered and allegedly raped for calling the commissioner out on Facebook.

Elizabeth, with her comments had urged the commissioner to help his sister and family financially.

But unfortunately for Elizabeth the post did not go down well with Abdulmumuni Danga, who hired thugs to kidnap Elizabeth from her home with her three-year-old son.

Speaking with the press and media, Elizabeth said she decided to make the post following series of complaints by the commissioner’s sister to her.

She said, she saw a post made by a local comedian of the commissioner about sharing food when his family is suffering and he doesn’t attend to them, Elizabeth said openly that it was her only reason for making that comment using facebook.

According to the victim she made that commment about the commissioner on the 29th of March 2020.
