It is a pleasure to see this type of thread, i must admission to you guys that you are doing well... The success of a student begin from his research and hardworking. You can be a master of all,when you determine to be... Great jobs, i pray the lord will grant us success and admission into our best choice institution, we shall not do it in vain...

U guys on campus should pls confirm for us if the v.c lists had been uploaded cos i heard it is out but not upload yet, and the so called eportal is not accessible.... May we all blessed, hoping to join u guys in ernest...

Pls, i need someone to respond on my question... 1. Will eportal be upload before dat march 2nd or is it march 2nd, 2. will names be upload on eportal for printout. 3. Will some new names or other list be found upload on eportal, a pal of mine still seeking his name for he met the 2nd choice...

I nodded my head in disagreement while i was reading the so called great scholar of a golden age of prof. Chinue Achebe story mixed with fabricated lies to cause confusion and hatred in the minds of the youngs. The story of Achebe can call for a national or tribalism war and animosity within tribe,the fake salted lies story is a poisonous of the mind to the Igbo.

Prof. Achebe doesn't acted like an intellectual fellow on his story, i commend his effort and kudos to his hand that pen such a false thesis story. This story is a symbol of tribalism, not even achebe himself pointed out the flaw of his igbo people during the Biafran war. Let maintain peace rather than causing another state of commotion and anxiety, a writter is not always biased and selfish.

I saw some acolyte writing "how would someone who is not a limelight criticize the work of Achebe", that sentence is an epitome of folly and a follow with little cell brain atom , probably such fellow brain might have been heated in the furnace. Do we not have people who are better than Prof. Achebe outside the country and who are proudly nigerian's but who tends to live there life abroad.

It indeed paining and a sign that anybody can be abate at anytime in point, his story is a mixture of truth and untruth. Prof. Achebe is not the first biafran writter, why couldn't we harangue other writter, because they did not wrote something contradictory and confusing... Though is a common man like us who can make human blunder, but he ought to apply his common sense as an elite and even as a prof who had made his own name among others.

There was a country will had been generally accepted if he had wrote it in a truthful and best manner way....

Only God knows the problem with oau,it only in oau things that is normal goes abnormal... 10 months now for running admission programme yet the fucking eportal has not be upload, a month to resumption registration is not on.... Their programme is nothings but a snail,though the institution is accolade as one of the best in nigeria and african but it not about that alone... Is not until we use six or seven years in school before becoming best,it not how far but how well... Their snail programme is abhorring and exasperating....... Nigeria institutions are full of slob and robot abdicating their responsiblity, they are never time conscious most especially oau, the only thing i know oau to be best at his having conducive environment for learning and having and a maniac schooling activities,they compel student to go extra mile but they are time wastage.....
In other country B.sc doesn't take more than 3 to 4 yrs but here in nigeria most especially oau you will have to use more than 6 to 7 yrs which is abysmal and dishearten....

Is not all about ageing in school, the most important one is the achievement you have been able to make after school... It here in nigeria graduate with first or second class who had spent 4 to 6 yrs in school still roam about the street, begging employer with their certificate, it here in nigeria that you see graduate who is adept and qualified becoming a motorcyclist or motorist... This Things made me imbue of worrisome, i just pray we shall not be found wanting for job in future,we shall all be favour in our days,the appaling situation of nigeria shall change anon..... The lord mercy shall never depart from us...

THE BIG PICTURE
A story that touches the heart...

Once there was a boy who lived with his mother and grandfather. His
grandfather was not really an elderly man,but he was
confined to a wheelchair and had very little use of
his arms. His face was
badly scarred,and he had a difficult time swallowing his food.

Every day a little any was assigned to task of going into his grandfather's room
and feeding his lunch. This the little boy did faithfully but not joyously,it was quite a mess to feed Grandfather.

As the any grew into
adolescence,he became weary of his responsibility.
One day he stormed into the kitchen and announced that he had had enough.
He told his mother, "from now on,you can feed grandfather."

Very patiently his mother turned from his chores,motioned for her son to sit down, and said, "you are a young man
now. It is time you knew the whole truth about your grandfather." she
continued, "Grandfather has not always been confined to a wheelchair.
In fact used to be quite an athlete. When you were a
baby,however, there was an accident."

The boy leaned forward in his chair as his mother began to cry.

She said. "There was a fire. Your father was working in the basement and he
thought you were upstairs with me. I thought he was
downstair with you. We both rushed out of the house leaving you blood upstairs. Your grandfather was visiting at the time. He was the first to realize what happened. Without a
word he went back into the house. Found
you,wrapped you in a wet blanket, and made a mad dash through the flames.
He brought you safely to your father and me".

"He was rushed to the
emergency room suffering from second and third degree burns as well as
smoke inhalation. The
reason he is the way he is today is because of what he suffered the day he saved your life." By this time the boy had tears in his eyes as well. He never
knew: his grandfather
never told him. And with no conscious effort on his
part,his attitude changed. With no further complaints,he picked up his
grandfather's lunch tray and took it to his room.

Attitudes changes when we get all the facts,when we see the big picture.

It isn't funny dat i do post on dis thread once in a blue moon,i was stunned seeing the nasty,insolent and sarcastic reply you guys exchange to one another,we never need such a mess on this thread,there is nothing to gain in the distribution of ignorance.....

Am currently writing in an admixture of joy and gloomy because i never no what my fate will be as a law student,though i made it through but we don't know wat is wrong with d faculty concerning our lists. Although i had discussed this severally with lecturers and prof on campus who told me no problem,that everything will be out soon...

We are brothers and sisters of different womb,and we never need to bull one another. My candid advice goes to we jambites that no amount of raucous on this thread or on campus can stop the action of the school. Let stop arguing where arguement doesn't lies,i was once impatient of knowing my fate,but now i belief there is reason for all action.... God might make oau delay the lists for one good reason or the other.

Belief my quote: "The patient dog eat the fattest bone".

We should always give kudos to whom kudos is due to,it is not easy for people on campus to leave their studies and come over to share news about the school. I have a brother who will not even,help you confirm anything on campus,he will tell you to come over that he is not at chance. This is a free world of expression where everyone is entitle to express wat he feel,we shouldn't share our angers on others but we can rather ignore their post instead..... Let all play it cool,we shall all be favour in jesus name(AMEN).

Leaders lead by example and you followers be submissive inorder to be greater than your leader....
