Iamgrey5:Don't judge other people based on your watery experience or encounter... The Seun Fakorede of Africa has been up and doing in Sustainable development and leadership position. He contested for Great Ife Students' Union President but lost to TY in 2015. He didn't relegate himself, he advanced and made social, political and leadership strength for himself. He is the founder of HAA (Home Advantage Africa), one of the platforms which network him with strong people. Don't just sit at your comfort zone and be shouting scam scam... Some people don't have parents who can network them but they network themselves with the things they do... |

So, I heard this is St. Linus Primary School in Okwa 1 community, constituency 1, Boki Local Government Area, Cross River State, Nigeria. At first, I thought it was a school in an unknown African country until someone from Boki Local Government Area in Cross River State confirmed the school to be situated in a country regarded as 'Gaint of Africans'. Good education is said to be the bedrock of any growing society. But it is quite disheartening that the educational system in the local government area of Boki has been relegated and neglected. The picture is an evidence of black age in Boki or probably Nigerian independence has not extended to Boki Land. This ugly scene is cemented with questions like 'Is Okwa 1 Community, Constituency 1, Boki Local Government Area, Cross River State not part of Nigeria? Is there no sitting commissioner for education in Cross River State? Is there no sitting Governor? Are these children not Nigerians? The above questions obviously have answers and I'm sure those concerned persons must have been briefed about the school but this is a country where nothing necessary is done until it gets the attention of media or probably those children become thugs some days to agitate for what belongs to them. There was a country! Tosdam wrote again! ✒

This is why it will be difficult to fight for Nigerians.... The only effective revolution in Nigeria will come from the force.... This is one of the reasons it will be difficult to fight out insecurity... A body is taking it up while another body is bringing it down... Nigeria is a sorry country Abeg! |

Boom! It's an accusation of 'rape' and everyone is so much interested in it. Everyone wants to air a view that will trend, a typical example of promoting name and idea to the public. I have seen a lot of shared opinions which seem cool and interesting about the Coza Pastor and Busola Dakolo. I have seen the strength a lot of persons put into it, probably to get the truth of the matter or to nail the pastor to the wall. A colony of support have stood tall behind Busola, some have declared the interest of donating thousand of Naira to fund the legal process in order to get justice for her and you would all agree with me it's a good development. Yes, it is. I saw posts of several persons charging people to speak out in situations like this. Meanwhile, I have read a lot of similar or even worse stories of rape on social media and I wonder why they did not trend. Maybe, it was because there was no social media influence for such stories or our celebrities did not see them or those philanthropists who could fund legal proceedings of cases like that were not online when they were updated. The rape saga reveals what the society looks like. Probably, Busola would have gained a big confidence to talk in that period when it happened if the society had seemed nice and helpful like this then. I don't want to assert yet that the saga is moving faster than expected because it is a case of 'the rich and big name'. We have read stories of how a father molested his children on social media and people sometimes made it sounds like a family issue. We have philanthropists who can finance the average rich Busola's case but none could finance the cases of many young school girls who were molested by teachers or pastors or families. Should we call that the hypocrisy of people who claimed to care about the victims of rape? The society rotates around the rich and the people with the big name. When it was happening to people without name, the average persons were the ones discussing it and there was no donation to help victims get justice maybe because there was no big media promotion attached to it. Apparently, the society would have been a better place if we threw weight to things that matter at the right time without minding the status of individuals involve. Take for instance, 'Insecurity' is currently the fear of many Nigerians but those who can fund their own security won't talk until the problem start to hit them. Let there be justice for everyone who deserves it. Say no to Rape! Say no to Societal Hypocrisy! By: Iyiola Oluwatosin D
