Career › Re: Am Thinking Of Quitting My Job by tosyne2much(m): 12:23am On Feb 21, 2016 |
QtKatie: I've been in a similar situation before. In my own case, it was a private school. Its really not easy having to wake up every morning and show up at a job you've come to detest. The headteacher was always on my case, mistake or no mistake. She was just difficult to please......like say dem take her swear for me. At a point, I just made up my mind to leave so I stopped wasting my efforts and just waited for her to do her worst. She eventually did.....and I waltzed out of the building with a big smile on my face, without any regret or looking back. Imagine where person dey smile with sack letter. Today, I have a better job which I enjoy so much. Were u given payment in lieu of notice or your salary was paid the same day your sack letter was handed to you? |

ozoigbondu: Tell me how many politicians have bothered to apologise after their student guests suffered some sort of humiliation.
The fact that Ben apologized shows that indeed he is a common sense senator.
You need to visit the senator for common sense You are wicked |

In as much as it's not your obligation to say "Thank You", I think courtesy demands you at least say "Thank You" when you receive something from people even though it's your entitlement
As for me, I'm so used to saying "Thank You" whether you buy something from me or I buy something from you or you pay me my entitlement
Why are people making it look like a big deal? |
Career › Re: Is It Right To Say Thank You To Your Boss When Collecting Your Salary? by tosyne2much(m): 11:58pm On Feb 20, 2016 |
FroshGirl: Its not RIGHT to say it - you work for it. its an obligation shaa...
Please, dont do tnat if you want to protect ur integrity (irony) I disagree with you... So because you worked for it simply puts you in a position to collect your salary and walk away?
You really need to start viewing life in another dimension |

Spanner4: Tosney such ones wedded, will they take marriage vows? For biblical point of view, a marriage is a sacred institution established by God and wen ppl cohabit and later are wedded, the marriage is no longer sacred indeed Bro, from Biblical point of view, since the married has now been sanctified, it automatically becomes sacred since God's standard has been met, so it doesn't matter if the couples had been cohabiting for a long time without marriage vows |

Ishilove: After two kids it is to be expected
Besides, the shape of a woman's breast determines how firm it will be. Pawpaw and mango shaped breasts will fall quickly, unlike orange shaped bosoms which remain perky for a long time. I know someone whose breasts were still firm after 6 kids because of the shape of her bosoms (orange)
My roomie in the uni doesn't know what it feels like to have firm bosoms because according to her, the boobs grew out and pointed straight down (pawpaw) Ishilove, I can see you are advocating for ladies with fallen bosoms
Keep us the good work |

Bro, there's exception to everything in life.. A sinner is set free the moment he realises he has been wallowing in sin and therefore, restitutes his ways |

tolulakin: I have been so bothered by the way some people have turned her story to their prayer points in recent times....I kept asking myself, are Nigerians this foolish? I cannot swallow such, I had to speak out! Bro, wisdom is measured by the ability to think in another direction even though others seem to be thinking in the same direction.
I have also been pondering over this bread scam of a thing... This is because I am too wise to believe cooked up stories
OP, may God increase you in wisdom IJN |

Agubushmenyo: Things I hate seeing on Nairaland concerning this Jumoke issue: 1) God pick my call: who the hell told you that God is a registered member of nairaland? Or u think sleeping at home or claiming Hustling will bring luck to you?
2) She is Lucky: Technically, there is nothing like Luck. Luck like we all say is a product of opportunity with preparation! Let's assume Olajumoke was oversized, she wouldn't be able to play the script well.
3) My time is coming: Shout it on Nairaland from now till next year without any reasonable effort or plan, you will end up buying enough data from your network provider just to type trash!
Meanwhile:
Shoutout to all those who copy and peep in the exam hall... Even those who manage to graduate from the University and those who tried with ND results and Still come here and Type "Buhari is a Dullard" just to get some likes! I hail una... Man of wisdom, I like this
