toyclicks: Per trip compensations In line with recent developments, we will be updating rider fares for the week to ensure your trips and earnings do not reduce this week. To compensate for the change to typical rates, you will get +20% added to fare for each client serviced during this period.
N.B! We believe with this ride price this week, you will receive more trip requests. Do stay ONLINE and take advantage of Dynamic Pricing and Back to Back rides as you shall receive a lot more this week. I am suspecting something. It looks like Taxify want s to reduce the fares |

Taxify in Lagos continues to grow, thanks to you, our partners!
In this message, you will find an update about bonus conditions for this week and dynamic pricing.
Taxify wants you to earn more! We have set out to be the platform that ensures our driver-partners earn more and we want to always keep to that.
Per trip compensations In line with recent developments, we will be updating rider fares for the week to ensure your trips and earnings do not reduce this week. To compensate for the change to typical rates, you will get +20% added to fare for each client serviced during this period.
We also take 10% less commission, but for this period we will not collect any commissions, so you will take home more on each trip!
Introducing Dynamic Pricing
We believe this week will be VERY busy and there will be peak demand, and for this, we will introduce dynamic pricing to allow you earn more asides from the per trip bonus.
What does this mean?
You will see a multiplier on the top right of your app to show you how many times the normal rate you will be earning.
For example, if a trip normally costs ₦1000 and the surge multiplier is 1.5x, this means you will earn ₦1500 (before commissions are deducted).
The client will be fully aware of this as they have to accept the trip based on these conditions beforehand
N.B! We believe with this ride price this week, you will receive more trip requests. Do stay ONLINE and take advantage of Dynamic Pricing and Back to Back rides as you shall receive a lot more this week. |

Romeo3: unless it's a police patrol team that double crosses you, or police men on bike that stops you or lastma men in patrol van or car, pay less attention to the others.
if any of them jumps in frontbof my vehicle and asks me to open the door i never do so. if they ask me to park well, no way. i engage them in an argument until traffic builds behind me and they have no choice than tell me to go Hmmmm!!! Thanks. I know I just paid for "Omo go" as per I just entered town. That would be the last |

Romeo3: uber drivers.
your car is more important than any rider. the rainy season is in full swing and a lotvof areas in lagos are prone to flooding.
never agree to subject your car to deep water because of a rider. if your car quench inside the water, rider will call another uber. pls be wise.
any rider that refuses to consider your car pls cancel trip.
be wise Doesn't the comprehensive insurance cover cases like this or is it only cases of accident that it covers? |

OAKSFIVEFARMS: You are already more than halfway home. For registering your vehicle, first of all you need comprehensive auto insurance, then you need to take the car for vehicle inspection ( I will send you a link for booking an inspection), you also need to download the uber partner app, from where you will sign up as a partner and be able to upload your documents. For registering your driver, he need's to go to Uber office on any time from Monday-Thursday 8:00 am or 10:00 am for the drivers test, once he passes he will be sent his results by email (if he doesn't get the email, it either means he has not passed, or there is a problem with his application, I would then advise he check in-person), once his test results come in, he should download the Uber driver app and register, from there he would upload his picture and his documents (drivers license and any other required documents, I only had to upload my drivers' license). Once he does this he can go online and earn money. P.S Uber charges 10000 for background check for your driver. Also there is a chance to earn some of that background check charge back through driver referral.
I personally think this is a good idea, instead of deducting money from your pocket to pay your driver, even when he is idle at times when you are not in transit, you might as well give him an opportunity to earn more while reducing your own bills. What if I decide to be the one driving by myself and not employing a driver, will I still need to pay the N10,000 fee? |
