Well, since you insist on this posit, I guess there is something special you know as regards how to dig down to thee discounted prices directly with these airlines. It will be kind of you to share such knowledge to us all here


Asides this, it is logical that wholesale customers get huge discounts that can even afford them to beat unit prices below company's own price.

I worked at an FMCG and I knew shoprite sold our products at a unit price below company's RRP. They could afford that cos they get massive rebates at the end of the month due to the volumes

This is false, airlines can sale any amount of ticket directly from their website stressfree, they don’t necessarily need agents to help them do that.

Agents were more useful prior to internet and smart phone invention. Vast majority of travelers will do perfectly well without an agent something that is almost impossible yes ago.

In all business dealings when you buy in bulk you get discount, this is not peculiar to ticket booking agents. Airlines also do these discounts on their websites

Well,...I already booked through Aeroland for 269k. No wahala. Wakanow na yeye company I no go like get dealings with a confused organization again. I called 5 different agents and each had a different thing to say. If I ask about the discount, some would say "Below 30 years" some would say it might not be more than 20% and will still be more expensive than Qatar airways and all that. I got confused but settled for the other people. Unto the next thing jareeeh.
Make Dem carry their village people fly with the discount as Dem no wan give us

Just got off the phone with Wakanow agent. BA flight available to Manchester on the 2nd Oct for #236k

She acknowledged that BA doesn't require C-19 test but that airport officials are funny. Their advice to do the C-19 test is to keep their clients safe from avoidable heartache

For those of us confused about the ban on Emirates flight, I spoke to them to confirm my booking with them and they confirmed they are still operating and even sent me a mail to check in my flight or upgrade my booking to a business class if I want to. So they are still operating.

Those waka ppl don't know what they are doing. Not professional at all. The ppl on the phone desk obviously don't have full info.

After I got info here about the BA promo, I decided to call them. At least it was the logical thing to hear from the horse's mouth.

Unfortunately the horse in this question was confused.

They gave me wrong info that I'm not eligible, I took that info as first hand and I opted for another airline.

I had already booked another airline before I saw someone here reinforcing that I was still eligible for the BA promo.

Called wakanow again, and the person who responded was telling me to wait so she gets right info.

Called the third time, I was told the person who has the info was in a meeting.

Called the 4th time, then I guess it was the person who had the right info that picked. By then, it was too late, they had already successfully misled me

So you might just want to press to be sure that the person feeding you over the phone is the one with the right info

Just got a call from my sis. visa approved.

Did her biometric on the 9th of september. She's not happy she was not called for interview because she took days off to prepare for it. She was "very prepared" according to her. (person wey dey ment) Imagine? SMH

Actually struggling to understand your post. Well my post is against the minister's timing of his decision. I don't think anybody bought a luftansa or klm ticket when the airspace was reopened. You obviously know why people avoided those airlines.

Emirates ban is a case of your school for instance issuing you an admission, you pay your tuition in full, then they make a u-turn that you can't take that course. I wonder how most people will feel compared to if the course wasn't made available initially.

The minister was well aware of the issues on ground before approving the airline for September 5th reopening. Thousands of people would not have purchased tickets with Emirates if they were blacklisted from the onset.

When it was Trump/USA ban, I can't remember what the minister did.

Its just a sadder tale. The kind of conclusions some people make about other people's decisions without an iota of idea of the story behind it

Results are usually released within 48 hours and valid for about 72 - 96 hours after testing (confirm with the airline).
You don't need it for the UK except you're stopping over in a country that requires it.

If one plans to fly on say Friday, what is best day to do Covid-19 test
