They sometimes need not get the piece of cloth of the person...they most times use pictures(that the person might not even have seen b4) and sometime carve a small statue of the person(which the person had never been in contact with).. What about the long incantations before their voodoo becomes effective?.. seems like you're just mentioning this cloth example to explain your pseudoscientific superstitions.

But this distinction is contestable. Such a person who neither believes in God nor in the non existence of God is only possible in philosophy. To the regular theist, 'you are either for us or against us', he is thus an atheist for them.
But within my context, such a view blessed with illiteracy. Since, just because there is no war doesn't mean there is peace.

But such a person, really is the natural man/woman. She is not yet corrupted with the burdens of fears or the so called realized freedom, nor is he any reason to like or hate some class of people.

Thus, atheism or theism are corruption to the natural / real man/woman.

Do Philosophical hypothesis accept religious thesis?
E.g in the above question someone asked what is the essence of man on earth when he will die latter. Assuming i was to adumbrate on this, will religious ideologies (probably Christian Doctrines)be allowed for me to use to prove my point?

you'd first need to argue for the position that these religious ideologies you intend using are true or really plausible, from there, you can then move on to make your assertions about the essence of man on earth.
In short, a 'religious thesis' rationally analyzed is no more a religious thesis (since it'd no more be dogmatically believed with FAITH but by rational justification).

Aristotle in his famous saying puts it that 'BEING QUA BEING' meaning Being is being or Being for being. Also the Great existentialist, Martin Heidegger said Being is a thing into death, meaning existence of a being is also a movement towards it's death therefore Being is nothing.

Going from the authorities above, Being is a metaphysical entity that moves in a vicious circle of empty and void purpose. Being is what most see as the essence of existence but this is wrong. I see being in the same light Heidegger sees it. As something that is nothing, that is continually moving towards emptiness.

Since being doesn't have essence on it's own with other things defining him, then Being is JUST nothing. For example, if a child is born today, that child is still a being but what begins to define his beingness is essence and what are these essence? The name he will be given,the language and culture he will learn to give him an identity, the educational line he will toll to make him know things because he came to the world not knowing. So being is actually nothing until these things starts defining him which is the essence. And as the Existentialists will put it "existence precede essence"
This means that for a being to be important, he must exist first before having essence, that he cannot have essence without existing. So the main attribute of a Being is that it must exist. A wood is a being according to my postulation. Humans are beings, cars are beings. All of these are beings because they exist in reality and they all have no purpose without essence, something to give it meaning.

The difference between Humans and Trees or cars under the concept of Beingness, is what Existentialists categorize as Being and being (big Being and small being). This is a discourse for Other day

As a really curious person, I have been following the arguments for and/or against the existence of a supreme being who has the power to tweak the laws of nature in exigent circumstances (or arbitrarily).

Truthfully speaking, Both the position for and against the existence of supernatural powers and its possessor have been backed up with good and cogent reasons. However, I have always held the position that looking closely at the analysis provided by both positions, there's no conclusive and indubitable evidence from both sides to put the age-long argument to bed.
Admittedly, recently, scientific explanations have made me start questioning many answers provided by religionists on issues related to the issue on ground...
Well, not until I witnessed a particular event did I realize that it is highly probable that supernatural powers exist..
The event occurred sometime last week when two motorcyclists were engaging in serious physical battle and one of them left the scene for a corner to insert a ring into his middle finger, before anyone could hold him back, he had hit the other motorcyclist with the hand where the ring was..consequently, the hit motorcyclist fell down flat immediately,started vomiting blood and later became unconscious and was rushed off the scene.

I don't know if he survived but i sure know the cause of his predicament!

My question then is, was that coincidental or it was some extraterrestrial power at work?...Additionally,how can we explain African belief in voodoo and how it has been working from time immemorial or can anyone provide a scientific explanation?
