tensor777:bros, I'm not the one stopping anybody from travelling. and if you're throwing a challenge to the countries trying to limit immigration into their domains, then i assume you have your bases covered and know what you're doing. |
No matter how bad the reccession seems, there are still people who got achievements in it.Is travelling overseas a right or a priviledge? ![]() the lawmakers and by extension the people from the countries in question are telling us to slow our roll yet we keep insisting they should be ignored. is that wise? ![]() |
they will applaud when they hear things like this overseas, but shout foul if govt tries anything like it in nigeria: Detroit converts neighborhoods into farmland The current plan would demolish about 10,000 houses and empty buildings in three years and pump new investment into stronger neighborhoods. In the neighborhoods that would be cleared, the city would offer to relocate residents or buy them out. The city could use tax foreclosure to claim abandoned property and invoke eminent domain for those who refuse to leave, much as cities now do for freeway projects. |
saw some really scary photos today. |
that house should be a landmark. eg "make a right after the elephant house, turn left when you reach the elephant" etc. |

You dont care if i'm old enough to be your mother, but do you care if i'm old enough to be your grandma? ![]() and which dayokanu are you referring to? ![]() the one jumping into every female's bed on nl? ![]() anyway, to answer your question: i'm too anal-retentive to make a good cheater. only a crazy man would get himself entangled with my type. serious. |
was there really a chandelier in his guest toilet? ![]() and, is the piece a satire? ![]() J.J took us on a tour of his home, he was particularly pleased with the chandelier in his guest toilet and he wanted us to ‘test’ each armchair in his 100 foot living room, one of twelve living arrears in the edifice that according to him, makes the White House look like a boys quarters. He also insisted that we bend down and feel the softness of the Egyptian rug in his fourteen car garage |
@jenifa ^^not to mention the light rays at that point in time [ie what you did], continue shooting through the universe at the speed of light. being beamed to another galaxy. i mean, doing something accidentally is one thing, doing it intentionally is another. however, different strokes for different folks, i always say. what looks good to you might not look ok to me, and vice versa. i've always been a |

@ poster you might just get your wish with all the secession talk making waves. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/21/us/politics/21brfs-SECESSIONBAL_BRF.html?src=twrhp The triumphant e-mail arrived in my in-box a week or two ago. It announced a re-enactment of the Florida Secession Convention on Jan. 8, 2011, in the old State Capitol building, where the original event took place 150 years before. |
as per declining to pay toll: Toll avoidance: shunpikinghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toll_roads_in_the_United_States |
Tolls on the roads abroad are made on newly constructed roads - your examples are NEWLY constructed, not refurbished roads already belonging to the government. That is the fundamental difference between what LASG is trying to do and what obtains elsewhere. all the foreign posters have stated the toll roads are on newly created routes not exsiting routesnot true. the fact that most newly created highways are also toll roads, does not mean old roads cant be upgraded to become the same. check toll roads in the west. Many are privately funded, and some were given out by the govt same as what LASG is doing here. Officials debate making Route 30 a toll road Efforts to revive the U.S. Route 30 project are running into the same problem as before: Lack of funding. But supporters believe making it a toll road could be the solution.btw, my reason for using the west [and malaysia] as a point of comparison in this instance, is their roads you all admire so much, while complaining about not having the same in nigeria, started from somewhere. They didnt just magically drop from the future. |
Remii:in the overseas I'm aware of, tolls are mandatory, not optional. some of these people pay more much as N5 - 8m per year, anyone who makes above N5m pays N1m to LASGsame holds abroad. the more you make, the higher your taxes. not that i dont feel for people, but some things can be postponed, not avoided. |
more about where we're supposed to be: Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ea/Smart-tunnel.jpg The "Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel" or "SMART Tunnel", is a storm drainage and road structure in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a major national project in the country. The 9.7 km (6.0 miles) tunnel is the longest stormwater tunnel in South East Asia and second longest in Asia. The main objective of this tunnel is to solve the problem of flash floods in Kuala Lumpur and also to reduce traffic jams . . . during rush hour How SMART Tunnel works First mode (Normal conditions) The first mode, under normal conditions where there is no storm, no flood water will be diverted into the system. Second mode (Most storms) When the second mode is activated, flood water is diverted into the bypass tunnel in the lower channel of the motorway tunnel. The motorway section is still open to traffic at this stage. Third mode (Major storms) When this mode is in operation, the motorway will be closed to all traffic. After making sure all vehicles have exited the motorway, automated water-tight gates will be opened to allow flood waters to pass through. The motorway will be reopened to traffic within 48 hours of closure. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMART_Tunnel |
netotse:^^no probs. |
