the problem is caused by lack of a male SO, not necessarily bleaching cream per se. Is iyanya seeing anyone? How about the other nigerian celebrities? |
If you can recall the storyline in "The Cyclist", the bicycle repairer told his wife to enter the room and prepare for conjugal activity when he learnt that the woman's 1st husband had just returned from the Biafra war. back in those days that part of the story seemed like full blown Indecency. i remember visiting that particular page several times afterwards. ( i was under 10 yrs at the time). i used to get a kick by just reading that portion over and over againi seriously have no idea why this keeps cracking me up. lord have mercy. |
jaybaby: I remember the pacesetters series very well, especially 'evbu my love'.anyone with the synopsis? i remember it faintly. |
My boss loved a lady but he couldn’t win her heart. That’s why he has remained unmarried.this part doesnt make sense however, imo. |
here's another, peeps want to console themselves, nothing wrong with that anyway: There’s this poor boy, he loved a rich girl. One day the boy proposed to her and the girl said, “Hey! Listen, your monthly salary is my daily hand expenses. How can I be involved with you? How could you have thought of that? I can never ever be in love with you. So, forget about me and get engaged to someone else at your level”.http://astoldbytope.com/2012/12/a-message-for-the-single-ladies/ |
probably two or more people typing with the same id. |
RedLips3: can someone translate Bamiyi's comment pleaseI cant. |
scottN: The main reason why ladies read romantic novels is because in real life, potentially and romantic men and eligible bachelors are becoming harder to find these days. Also the criteria that was used in those days to determine such category of men/bachelor in this age of ours is no longer valid or rather outdated . This makes most ladies look in the wrong places only 2 end up not finding what they r looking for and then find solace in reading those romantic write ups.hmmm i'd have thought its actually the other way round. reading romance novels ought to make it easier for ladies to find the right guy, not harder. |
spint: i realize after so much research that ladies like to read romance novels that portrays its imagery .they can go through sleepless nights just to finish reading it and opt for more, or am i wrong?? carmelily: 1.what kind of research exactly?general, usual nairaland research. |
i guess Meet the Parents might also be romantic? ![]() |
well, She's Out of My League is a light hearted romantic movie, sort of almost the closest you can get without being outrightly based on cyberspace persona. i watched it some years ago. |
rich girl poor boy things. that pacesetter novel, what was the plot sef. its even on amazon, amazing: https://i43.tower.com/images/mm107780334/rich-girl-poor-boy-osanyin-b-paperback-cover-art.jpg |
why would people repeatedly refuse marriage proposals though? i find that weird, maybe its just me. surely everybody proposing cant be unsuitable? ![]() and what exactly is considered unsuitable? |
unyours: Firstly, if it is a fruit, how do you know the fruit is not existing? You thought so cos it actually was no fruit in the first place.so, basically you're saying God created the garden and placed lucifer there. |
@ topic how did i miss all the hidden posts again? |
Nicemoc: I wonder who sent that woman on such a missionvery interesting question, would be nice to know the answer/s. |
^ma'am, i wish things are as frivolous as you are trying to make them appear. i really do. |

bokoslayer: I owe her alot and it is personal. Have you got any help to render, please?the help I'm rendering is right here on this thread. my advice to you is search on facebook or google. if she's not there, and you've also looked for others who know her and they also dont know her whereabouts, give it a rest. You can also drop your own information instead and say "sandra" who schooled at ebonyi (or anyone who knows her)should look for you. This: so I thought it would be a good idea if we can provide some information about the friend/family we are looking for e.g name, gender, the town/country they live in, how you met, schools attended etcis unnecessary and besides there are many threads on such already. |
okotv: here is my point though. Many parents have failed in that regard and instead of the church to offer help in that regard it is failingwhat exactly is the church expected to do, and how is the church expected to replace the parents? lets assume the general parents we are talking about, are churchgoers, fully responsible adults in every respect. Like i asked, how will a few hours one day of the week, presume to replace the instruction and training kids receive at home? If you are a christian please enlighten me how the children and youth ministry in your church is faring compared to your days putting the end products (children) in this case into perspectiveunless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain. |
all of these pictures are from the US, or depict the US. |
right now, seems some nigerian celebrities are in the US, some are in south africa. whats the location of the others? |
seriously though, these guys are smiling like they won the lottery. In every single picture too, they're always beaming and happy. am I missing something? ![]() lord have mercy o. |
lomaxx: He that pays the piper dictates the tune. Unfortunately, Nigeria pays the piper but piper dictates the tune.quite right. |
what do you mean? |
axum: Lmao you know you are lying. The reason why fulanis are seen as Beautiful is because a few of them look a little like Somalis/Ethiopians.you are so funny. |
okparaugo: ..so childish. |
bokoslayer: I have searched everywhere including facebook. The details of the person I'm looking for is in my first post.so what do you need her for? ![]() are you envisaging some kind of "happy ending" or what? and is that why you added this: Just make sure you leave as much information as possible about the person you are looking for, we can help reunite families, friends, colleagues etc |
@ topic what happened to facebook? Is it down? lord have mercy o. |
bokoslayer: NB: Just make sure you leave as much information as possible about the person you are looking for, we can help reunite families, friends, colleagues etcindeed, on a public forum like nairaland. who exactly are you fishing for? and is it a must people must be "reunited"? For what? ![]() |
