ezeagu: Fetish cultures like the Pentecostal Church, many evangelical churches in fact. Claiming things as part of a Nigerian culture when the are not, like women wearing skirts only. Using the bible and any other religious text to justify stupidity. Waiting on "God's time" when it comes to life or death issues and so on.I think you can read. Thread title says african culture, you're mentioning church and skirt. Is everything ok with you today, or are you distracted? Do you see how you turned s.tupid in your bid to rubbish people for their christian beliefs? I think you should stop before you revert to an ape. Stick to igbo matters- thats where you can shine. |
Besides, this is an unnecessary repeat thread. |

So, my point is, not having a degree in education doesnt necessarily mean someone wont be a good teacher, although of course its important in establishing some basic foundation in teaching. I know overseas, you have to have training in education before you can teach. |
Teaching skills are sometimes innate. I did not study education, but i have very good teaching skills, even if i do say so myself. This is because i have a lot of enthusiasm for the subject, as long as its something i'm interested in, or have a knowledge of. I hate for students to not have an insight into whatever i'm teaching them. And thank God, i've had feedback as well which validates my opinion here. |
^ your last sentence is debatable, unless you're not referring to peoples from around the chad basin, many of who are araboid. |
In addition, which country in africa, is most like nigeria in terms of mindset? I should think congo, no other place comes to mind. |
ignis: My grandfather is on nairaland. Joke apart. Are you serious? But even if true, i think the level of oldness they're referring to is around 80+ years of age. |
An engineer with no knowledge of maths, should be an anomaly. |
I think the game should have been distributed overseas first, before being launched in lagos? @ topic. |
The question has been answered multiple times on the thread. As to whether you disagree or agree with the reasons stated, is another topic on its own. |
