some are good teachers, from my own experience. beware of generalization. doesnt mean they're all good, but some are ok. |
Why does a bride wear something borrowed, something blue, something old, and something new? Incorporating 'Something Blue' Into Your Big Day |
but i dont see anyone flipping out over this Something Blue is a phrase deriving from a saying about the items a bride should carry or wear on her wedding day for good luck:i.diots. ![]() |
@ topic and the ones "opening mouth" probably as a source of iron, in some way. lack of folic acid [iron] leads to neural tube defects in the baby. prenatal vitamins are fairly recent. http://blogs.babycenter.com/community_buzz/05202012pregnancy-and-solar-eclipse-superstitions/ http://forumhealthcare.org/wearing-a-safety-pin-while-pregnant-t175897.html |
Ileke-IdI:or used a nigerian toilet either, no doubt. |

out of the abundance of the heart, the mind speaks. |
Ask4bigneyo: Have been wondering why our pregnant women always attached safety pin(s) to their clothes/wears...true its common among yorubas, but i dont know the prevalence in other tribes. its just a superstition, same as everywhere in the world has theirs. eg people touching a pregnant woman's belly, etc etc. |
But I shrugged that off, didn't put much thought into it, atleast not until I created another thread originally titled: ''christians please pray for atheists, seriously''.sounds like you're really desperate. just open a thread anywhere on nl, detailing your problem/s, and you'll definitely find someone somewhere who will pray for you. |
forgot to ask for the link. |
at last, the story finally got interesting with this plot turn. how old is the lady? |
i'm not sure they'll attack when they already own africa and africans for that matter. and why waste valuable resources when you can simply have africans attack themselves on your behalf. |
if their beefing is continuing to make the ministers greater, then they should knock themselves out while the level of greatness simply keeps increasing astronomically. |
abouqi: I sincerely believe if some of your mums have used these safety pins the children they were blessed with by God won't have been changed to some of you Nairalanders going by your comments; the way you reason, the way to talk to men of God,....you guys definitely are not God's original plans for your parents.i think there's something about walking at night too, but i dont recall what it was. pregnant women shouldnt go out at night, or something like that. however, that one is easy to interpret- obviously, why would a pregnant woman in nigeria be walking around at night anyway? ![]() |
seyigiggle: i hope say no be the poster shit we dey see? anyway aside that other things seem to be okare you suggesting the op shat in the toilets, threw some bottles around, then took pictures to post on nl? |
btw arent the camps supposed to have stall toilets like this: https://www.improbable.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/stalls.jpg |
chai, see toilet, not sure this is workable but interesting concept though. https://cdn.ubergizmo.com/photos/2006/8/fisn-n-flush.jpg |
@ coogar do you ever get tired of doing drugs!!!! Your mood swings will improve when you're in menopause, i hope. if you know how to read, two separate matters are being discussed on the thread. 1. pregnant women being told to put pins on their person to ward against evil 2. pins on person in order to have some handy when needed. do you get it now, or you need to sniff some more crack to focus? |
baby_123:nah, i'm about 10 years past that cut off age of 37, so, its slimyem. please pray for her- her miracle can still happen this year. |
slimyem: help me folks!!!! |
** no need to repost the pictures, why torture yourself** |
i just love my double negativesi think you mean you want to be americana. unfortunately, you still sound bush, something you need to work on. |
you live to post on nl, i see! good luck with your husband search, at least folks are aware now. if your foul mouth is stuck with you for life, then i guess a foul mouth man will end up in your clutches. birds of a feather, are foul mouthed together. |
anyway even in the village, those bathroom thingies made of sheet metal enclosing a space, look more enjoyable though. i think the camps should have a roster for bathroom duty. Everybody should help keep those toilets/bathrooms clean. |
^you cant answer? |
