basically, if you do not know your history, you run the risk of being at the mercy of those who do, and more often than not, this information will be used in manipulating you and yours. |
Let me say once again I have never experienced this superiority talk I see here in Nairaland in real life. Why would Anambra be superior over other Igbo states? now I know I will be more observant about the dynamics among people from the SE in this matter seeing that I must have been clueless my whole life .there's nothing unusual about not knowing the dynamics of how something works, when one has been raised elsewhere and not been exposed to such. this is one of the dangers of being in the diaspora and assuming the status quo there, is the same as what obtains at the original base. some of these things are cultural, and people at home [who are familiar with their ethnic setting] would be used to it, and have their own culturally interactive method of neutralizing the negative effect or impact which could occur, thus it wouldnt be considered such a mind blowing revelation to somebody already aware of how such works. but for those outside the home base, and who do not know what gives, and are unaware of historical basics/conflicts as well, such allegations would be very disturbing. because they are in a different environment where different rules apply and there's a different and more varied social input. hope i did not blow too much grammar in my small write up. |

ypzilanti: You are a very hateful person, I can see now. Very horrible human being. What exactly has Tuface done to you? You are annoyed that he has the 'audacity' to call himself a christian. Perhaps only people that you approve of should make it to heaven.just shut it. even satan calls himself a christian. and so? |
“I secretly married her because I have so much respect for my other babies’ mothers; I cannot afford to hurt their feelings with a sudden society wedding with Annie, not now.was that the reason, or your diviner said you must not have a white wedding. since when does the presence of plus or minus 10 or more children and baby mamas prevent anyone from doing a society wedding? ![]() |
ypzilanti: Between him and his God. Who gave you the right to question a persons assertion of faith?please shut up about this private jet matter. i think its been discussed enough. your shouting doesnt prevent anyone from buying one. |
as a christian? ![]() oh my God, the types of people that populate churches these days. nothing new, i suppose. |
Amen. |

so, i should sit here and be fighting their battles while they continue making tons of money, abi? good luck with that!!!!! |
Nigeria has 244 tribes. Broaden your horizons beyond igbo and yoruba alone. |
why is he photographed separate from the other corpers. in any case, he's making a name for himself, but there are oyibo biracial nigerians who have done NYSC nah. i think the emphasis here is on the fact that he might be the first nigerian of non-african [or non-nigerian] ancestry to do that. ie the first non-black nigerian. |
if tuface and k solo could do it, why cant you. all you need is to not use a condom, find women, etc etc. btw are you rich, or who pays for the children's expenses. |
He said the number of elopements and extramarital love affairs had risen in the past few months, with at least six girls and women fleeing their homes.hmmm, elope in haste, repent at leisure. |
Where is the new city? |
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |

oh, ok, thanks. |
Though i think if she is SS, you might know without asking. Dreystar: That's not always true. And guessing wont help eithermost of the time, its fairly obvious. |
tbaba1234: The statistics do not indicate so, maybe in some small circles but the vast majority of muslim are monogamous.@ bolded ![]() anyway, at this point, i exit the thread so you guys can continue your discussion. |
ok then good luck in your search. |
boko haram is a foreign transplant. |
kabsun: I feel those that see marriage or better choosing spouse an easy task ar either ignorant on wat it entails or a blessing frm ALLAH.its not as difficult as you're making it seem, imo. maybe you're just not ready to settle down yet, or are still waiting for "the perfect one". Same thing. |
@ tbaba yes there is. and we all know your last sentence is debatable. i just think its better to not hide behind religion for what you want to do, although of course that argument kind of stops opposition in its tracks, so to speak, and makes the whole thing much easier to implement. |
kabsun: The problem is that most of the good undergraduates ar either married or engaged. Postgraduates ar married ofcourse.dont know about the north, but in the south, not all postgraduates are married. you can try overseas dating i suppose- plenty of single nigerian ladies of all tribes. |
this k solo and his identical poses with women. . . . . are these people acting a script? |
tbaba1234: Hehe...Islam only gives a man the permission to take up to 4 wives, It is not mandatory.but admittedly, there's strong pressure to practice polygamy. so, why did some not do so? and how did they get around the imams and pressure? |
@ kabsun ^how are the other males in kano finding wives to marry? wasnt it kano where the govt was even paying men to get married recently? ![]() i find your post, puzzling. |
