Will her grandkids break the tradition? Maybe some of them can graduate from ife. |
vislabraye: . Aging is not such a good thing.Statements like these are what send people ( women especially) into panic mode and make them put the plastic surgeon on speed dial when they can afford one. Funny how males dont have a problem with they themselves getting older, but must constantly frighten the women when they do the same. You're supposed to be telling the young ladies to get their priorities in order and stop imagining life is only about being "hot" because the same men who are shouting age, are also looking for sugar mummy in romance section. |
Ab025: At 46.....I think she is cool and ok.I tire. Misplaced priorities. |
. |
ditto. |
you were trying to prove some people are mean, right? thinking by so doing, some of you meaner than satan people can hide? |
The flint: hot or not, wtf is your/our biz, when she was putting on this, am sure she didn't put it on to fall under d scrutiny of judgemental bigots like y'all, feel she is cold or ain't hot,she actually was out swimming it seems. |
if we're talking of meanness, who's the male here who leads women on then harangues them later? ![]() mean get levels, some of you have attained phd in that field. |
that's what i like about igbo women- they dont hesitate to show the man who wears the pants in the house. yoruba women like to do smesme too much when it comes to males, dem too dey fear. And besides, the culture doesnt allow for backtalk. |
Kudos for summerizing my long essay in few words. ![]() Tho its very clear she understood my point very well. She just wanted me to dive inside the gutter with her. Never! ![]() Funny most of CNA's deconstructive critics are women in her age bracket.
seems you're one of her boys.you've been parked on the thread since. did you by any chance send something to her inbox? |
when she says fruity undergarments company, does she mean fruit of the loom? |
Nairaland literal Greats like Yuzedu and Mazi-Omenuko .
abeg make we close thread, its bordering on the absurd. although you did say nairaland sha, maybe that should be considered when viewing your post. |
Homguy: During my undergraduate days, there was this lady in my fellowship i had a brief fling. After our first night together she started sending texts about how she enjoyed the night and how we should be together 4ever. Bt the heck! i dislike such thinking,to me it reeks of desperation. Worst, several month now she has refused to lemme be,always calling and texting. Some times i reply her texts, just out of being polite. Why are nigerian ladies like dis. They dont believe in NSA sex.besides a close pal of mine is head-over-heels in love wit her but she doesnt give a hoot. I guess i'll call it the feminine paradox. Ladies pls open your brains. The heart's for pumping blood not thinking!fellowship meaning what? playboy fellowship or something? |
this is vintage poverty, otherwise why would a grown person be struggling over someone's else car instead of getting their own. you be armed robber? ![]() |
Jesus Christ, you people should move your hitler worship to stormfront! KI LODE GAN!!!!!!!! nigerians are black negroes, get your crap out of here!!!!!!!!!!!! |

shine12: Go and read my post very well.I'm talking about Chimamanda(She studied at Drexel, transffered to Eastern connecticut then post grad at John Hopkins and later Yale. She completed a fellowship at harvard last year. Yes Achebe studied at UIMy point was "exposure" does not automatically confer creativity and expertise, it depends on your subject matter, how comfortable you are with the material, your own innate storytelling skills as well as a host of other factors. Thats why i consider diasporan literature a different pot of fish than continental african writing. |
True that. I think he's a rich man, so plane tickets shouldnt be out of his reach. |
If a man can feed her, why cant she feed him? |
Shine12 Chinua achebe studied at UI. TFA was conceived from start to finish, in nigeria. I think diasporan literature should have its own genre and not be confused with indigenous literature. |
You're hoping to become part of the adenuga family? Na so you like money reach? |
Why dont you start off by explaining how YOU know what she believed? And why would you feel people do not go into marriage for other reasons besides not getting divorced? Which kain rose coloured glasses be this? |
Like i said, you sound like someone who is easy to scam, either that or perhaps you have a personal stake in the matter. Let me spell it out in case some are genuinely confused about this "marriage": Entering a union which you know has comma, apostrophe and fine print of high intensity from the start, does not show a belief you want it to work. Make una free this woman, na by force? Possibly you folks were the ones who pushed her/them into the "marriage". |
Which mistake did she make? You sound like someone who is easy to scam. |
Waiting for iyanya's response. mukina will put it on frontpage immediately, i'm sure. |
I think someone who wants an authentic marriage, would not intentionally pick a papa 12 pikin with various baby mama drama. If he or she does so, then that means they have other reasons besides gathering a fan base of sorrowful sympathizers who live vicariously through them. I personally would suspect such a couple werent planning to stay together to begin with. |
I guess its disturbing news for her sheeple, however for the man, i should imagine the exit of one wife out of four or more, is easily gotten over since supply exceeds demand, unless the particular wife owns the financial trouser in the house. |
She'll be good to go as soon as she applies the same glop that other people apply to their own bodies. Then add some airbrushing, photoshopping, etc, and voila. Folks will be falling over themselves in admiration. |
