Their wedding will hold sometime next month. I ask again; why do children of rich people only marry other children of rich people? :-) source:www.worldgists.com
Don't shoot yourself in the foot na. No tribe in West Africa has produced more heads of state than the Fulanis. Go read again. Mansa Musa is dead and we know his worth. Dangote is alive and his possibilities are endless. He can very well be the richest man in the world (actually, he believes he will be). Well, not a few believed he would be the world's richest black so no qualms. The Sokoto Caliphate built by the Fulanis endures till date, all we have of the ancient Mali Empire are ruins now desecrated by Islamist rebels. Abi no be so? As for footballers, I refer you back to the list. grin
Did you miss where someone corrected you on dangote's ethnicity?

Shouldnt you stop arguing sometimes?

not sure if some of these thread openers are slaves or something.

cant you use your God given brain instead of asking silly questions all the time?

unless you are leaving church early to engage in armed robbery, bomb somewhere or any other such criminal activity, where in any dictionary is sin defined as leaving church before the pastor?

if your own church frowns on you exiting early, then stay, geez. Unless you have a valid reason for not doing so.

how did he get his,and why is it difficult for her to get hers the same way?

just asking, of course if she wants to claim her husband's state its entirely up to her.
You seem to be more concerned with the jihad aspect grin Well, all cultures gain influence one way or the other, it is all about comparative advantage, so how they got it, to me, is not really the crux of the matter, especially in this context. I do not see any disrespect here, remember this is strictly my personal view and if you think any other tribe is more influential, the floor is yours. Personally, I am yet to see any other tribe in Africa with so much clout and concentration of political, social and economic power particulary in West Africa (please go through the list) as the Fulanis. It has nothing to do with my love or hate for any ethnic group (I don't subscribe to any tribe or race-based philosophy so I don't see this as an affront to African consciousness). It is just an observation from a personal perspective, and of course, you have the right to disagree.
madam, the people you are calling fulani, are hausa fulani.

if you are referring to nigeria, that's the context you should use.

if your area of expertise is outside nigeria, then you should also mention that as your specialty (perhaps you're from elsewhere?), since there's a reason why different regions are different countries?

The thing about Emeka is that he is the complete opposite of Lola. She is obsessively neat; but Emeka never learns to clean up himself. She is an independent career woman; he has a chauvinistic streak a mile way. She manages her money well; but he buys based on what he wants rather than what he can afford
why is lola presented as an angel and emeka a devil? huh

just asking.

The Sage

When the young man decided to move a bit further down, he found his surroundings quite different from the previous forest. This environment consisted mainly of plains, interspersed with small shrubs at regular intervals, and he could sometimes see for miles around as he walked.
He strolled on, it was getting warmer and after a while, he was in a sweltering heat. He stopped frequently to take breaks, resting against the shrubs. The sun shone with a smoldering haze, the distant horizon shimmered gently, and he was getting very thirsty during his walk.

After what seemed like an eternity but could have been a few hours, he sighted an outline close by. He quickened his pace and in a few minutes, came across a man seated on a small rock which looked like a chair. The man, whose age was difficult to ascertain (it was hard to tell if he was young or old), sat in the thinker’s pose, gazing tranquilly out at the world and resting his chin thoughtfully on his hand.

Hello, the young man said, pleased to meet you.

The thinker looked thoughtfully at him, turning his head a little but with his hand still cupping his chin. He assessed the young man from head to toe. He reflected deeply, then nodded an acknowledgment.

I saw you heading this way in the distance, he said. It took you a while to get here. You are thirsty, I presume, because of the heat.

I was going to ask you for some water, said the young man. Could I have some, please.

The thinker offered him a little water bottle, which he took , opened and drank deeply from. He felt refreshed.

Thank you sir, he said after he’d quenched his thirst. I was starting to wonder if there was any water around here, didn’t know what to do.

The thinker nodded again, and pointed in the direction the young man was headed.

You can go along now, he replied, your path lies that way.

The young man waved his thanks and had taken a step forward when he thought he caught an expression he couldnt fathom, on the thinker’s face. It had been so brief he couldn’t be sure of what he saw, but it looked angry. However, it was gone almost as soon as it had appeared, and the thinker was once again in his thinking pose, contemplating other unseen issues.

The young looked at him, puzzled. The thinker ignored him at first, then after a while, looked his way.

What is it young man? He asked.

I wasn’t sure, the young man replied, for a moment there it seemed like you were angry or unhappy, then in a minute, the emotion was gone and you simply looked thoughtful.

[he is] obedient and will not disobey you except in what displeases God.
true that, blacks generally find fulfilment in serving other races. This is plain fact.
