i was just thinking about the issue of evangelism the other day. I've been wondering if christians (including myself) are in fact, doing enough in this area. i would like to research ways to preach to people who are bound by covenants they've made, or who are in sleeper cells, for example, therefore subject to whatever orders they receive from their higher ups (or suffer the consequences). namely, how to preach to people who are dealing in death. Many of them are already in the churches, and claim to be christians. just thinking out loud, carry on. |
op, you're AA, right? |
make una allow ffk to rest abeg. being overly much in the media isnt always a good thing. |
@ op and his/her crew get a job, even if its bus conducting. [s]White collar fraud can only get you so far[/s]. I did not look down on myself when i was flipping burgers- doesnt matter if others are snubbing you, its what you think of yourself that counts. ![]() |
ocman: CHARACTERISTICS OF LOVING MEN (Must read)better still, i'll quote it. |
nigeria is in trouble, God will help us. this information is important because nigerians started flying first class simply in order to copy nigerian celebrities doing that or what exactly? ![]() i dont get it. |
GraceBestowed: I personally accord due respect to everyone. There have been instances where I've lost the trust I've had in people, but not treated them with disdain.your response might be for a different thread, however, its quite understood. some people know how to respect others, others dont. I think that's basically what such stuff boils down to. someone who does not have a mindset that values respect, will not bother giving it to others, since it ranks low on their totem pole. Such people will have other things they consider more important than respect. For those to whom respect is high in value, its not something they randomly turn on and off like a switch, as they "update" or "relegate" information about people who they interact with. anyway, as per the topic under discussion, when someone loves a person but does not respect them, it will make for more difficulties in the relationship. |
^explain, plz. |
good question @ topic. |
born7win: @OPgbam. ![]() My dear, taking the words that the pranksters on the romance section say to heart tells me that you are a learner.romance section or even nl itself. ![]() Instead of giving yourself a heart attack on NL, you should go and find yourself a husband.easier said than done. especially when your social life revolves around nl! |
butta: Women so appealing but they are enemies of themselvestrue. |
just mention the men's net worth, if its anything impressive, wait and see if women wont dump you and your handsome six pack before you finish typing. |
more: The saidman told me he wasnt married! Nawao!ok, And I wonder where the silly man was at the time his wife was using his cellphone to make this call and threaten an innocent girl like mewell, now you know, and instead of thanking your stars you found out before too much damage was done, you're busy forming whatever. Not just that am facing it in the real world, even here on NL, married men who dont even deny the fact that they are married keep disturbing for "FRIENDSHIP"!doesnt this contradict your earlier claim? How many married men exactly are disturbing you on nl? |
Tashamania: Bebe, I am always nice and you know me. People especially tpia@'s situation is just a sad one! I don't even have time to start replying anyone here seriously. They should all go k*ll themselves for all Tashacandy care abeg! I have said my own and would keep saying it. Haba! One is no longer free to create a thread and go emptyhanded without a bag of silly talks for dogs to feast on from grandpas and grandmas here who can't even read and comprehend! Really, thank God for social media finallymadam or oga, quit pretending thanks. almost every post and thread you've made on this forum, contradicts your claims of innocence and reason for the thread, yet you're still typing anyhow on your keyboard. this is from your first post: Abeg and abeg, I dont entertain married men as friends. I'm sounding this clear because of any married man on here that might have been harbouring such intentions!yet, despite your claim here, a married man still had your number and not only that, you picked up his call at 10pm midnight. You thought he was calling to report his wife to you or discuss the weather perhaps? ![]() yes your friend or is it your other moniker, is trying to cover for you by insisting guys randomly follow you around to glean your number from banks, not buying, sorry. I would say you personally hand out your phone number to guys you want to get cosy with. feel free to disclaim that assumption. Its an open forum. neither am i saying its wrong for you to give guys your phone number, how e take concern me? ![]() |
thought i knew when paper was replaced by polymer some years back. or wasnt that nigeria? |
1ndidi2: From the looks of it,It will! I just wanna Know in advance to give Me some hope.you might have to go with the other posters on the thread, i have no way of predicting such, beyond having it looked at by a professional. |
ok, now I'm following your "reasons", i see where you're coming from, in a way, even if i dont fully agree with your post as explained. But that's ok, its not everything that needs to be argued over, sometimes things arent black and white. Love is the conquering criteria for marriage. No matter how much I respect someone, I can never marry them. When you, genuinely, love someone, you're able to work through their flaws.say you have a scenario where you love someone but cannot respect them, how do you think that will work out? |
eod. ![]() and better still, if you have love, you will attract love. love is not referring to booty call or infatuation. |
oro nigeria fe adura. |
Good Girl: You're right, though I think it's more of a vicious cycle. Nigerian women tend to go a bit overboard with this marriage thing and your men have noticed that it's the only thing you women live for. Because of the knowledge they have they use that weapon to bully you single women and creating anxiety among you in the process. Like I've said before, it's really tough being a woman in Nigeria. You are expected to be married, if possible to ANYONE that shows the slightest interest because "age is not on your side"......are you serious with the bolded. you really think a general women issue is only applicable to nigerian women? |
as long as someone, anyone, seeks completion in marriage, it's flawed from the beginning.how so? There should be only one reason a person gets married, and that is because of lovelove by itself alone does not sustain a marriage. |

Twenty-three obas are due to attend the meeting, an initiative of the President, at the Aso Rock Villa.who are the obas attending the meeting, plz. since we are aware of the meeting, we might as well know who the attendees are. @ topic, imo, instead of going to aso rock to eat questionable food of unknown etiology and origin, sw leaders should look into this issue of finding husbands for the women in their domain, this is a matter of national importance. if bayelsa state did not convene a similar meeting before setting up a committee to look into rumour mongering, why do swners need to gather at aso rock before information is disseminated? just curious, these are the questions on my mind. God will help us o! |
why not get it checked at the hospital if its anything serious. since you dont know if it will scarify, then just wait, and if it does, i guess you'll have to tone or something? ![]() |
shouldnt ikoyi registry have a flashier sign by now? I'm seeing so many wedding pictures with the current sign as the backdrop. |
my experience has always been that the ‘runs’ girls marry firsttrue talk, as far as i know. ![]() am yet to see anything contradicting this. ![]() |
^ what, in your opinion, are the right reasons for getting married? most of you continue to churn out "wrong reasons" ( which, to you, is any reason put forward by relatives, society or well meaning married friends). kindly give us your right reasons for marriage, thanks. |
modak: Do you mean 'Pretty Women' by Julia Robertsduplicity starring julia roberts and clive owen. Duplicity is a 2009 American romantic spy film written and directed by Tony Gilroy, and starring Clive Owen and Julia Roberts. The plot follows two corporate spies with a romantic history who collaborate to carry out a complicated con. Ray and Claire attempt to sell the formula to a Swiss company for $35 million. Meanwhile, Garsik tells his shareholders that they are in the final stages of testing for a product that cures baldness. The Swiss, however, say the formula is a fraud. The scene cuts to ten days earlier, where Claire and Ray were practicing the act they would present when it was revealed that Ray would be Claire's handler. Unbeknownst to them, there was a hidden microphone in their room monitoring them. From the beginning, Claire and Ray were being played by Tully and his people. Pam Frailes (Kathleen Chalfant) from Equikrom was really working for Burkett & Randle all along, Partiz was used as the bait, Bauer staged stealing the formula, and the formula never existed at all. It was all a trick to get Garsik to announce he had a revolutionary product, which was in fact just a regular skin cream, and which would ruin Garsik and Equikrom. The film ends with Ray and Claire realizing they have been played by Tully. |
is the op trying to pretend there are no people - either men or women- who would still find those photos stimulating. keep fooling yourself! besides, you did not state their financial status- makes a 90% difference in the reception! |
at least no silly usher would embarrass her again in the church congrats to her
valacious: So she can now sit in front of pastor poju oyemade covenant christian church, without harrassment from an overzealous usher. SMH at Nigerian churches religious spirit!so, reasons for getting married now include to be able to sit in front of someone's church without being "harassed" by an usher. oh, ok, I'm learning. hope the church and the usher will follow you home as part of the marriage. |
