so that means all the aluu killers are out now? did i not mention previously that the suspects should be held in a far away place, just like the brits used to do when taming nigeria? |
hurricane every day, na wa o. lord have mercy. |
Since then i watch what i say even in Yoruba over the phone.EOD. too much "longerthroat" all over the place these days. na so so bad eye full everywhere and everybody. |
The evil things people do and think of in real life, are stranger and more freakish than any fiction. |
I'm rather surprised at the lackadaisical attitude nigerians in general have had towards the floods. Nobody seems to care much. |
God told you to relocate to Accra, Ghana because their sins are lesser than nigeria's own, abi? ![]() |
It's probably going to be considered a classic. I watched the movie and while it was good, it didnt quite match the quality of the book itself. |
Thread is based on a false premise because standards of beauty vary by ethnicity and nationality. Wider eyes are usually considered attractive by white european males. I doubt an average chinese would hold their women to the same standards as an european would, meaning a typical chinese might not necessarily find the first picture ugly. Unless the husband in the story ( if real) is westernized, then i doubt his grouse with the wife would be the "ugliness" but probably just the fact he didnt know she'd altered her looks. |
Its our culture. |
Financial insecurity doesnt really explain ownership of an expensive phone or outrageously priced hair. More like trying to feel among, or trying to feel big. |
Haha, interesting topic. @ op cant help, sorry, know nothing about the subject matter, but you do have a very catchy thread title. |
BoboYekini: well, you guys are impressive o. Here goes:angela's ashes. Great book. |

in the meantime classic story of acts and consequence/s a fortune involved author has a male name but is female also deals with the passage of time |
waiting for the name of the book. . . . . . |
the story either sounds fake or the guy is d.aft. if looks were important to him then he should have checked out her family members before marriage. and the woman also didnt need plastic surgery to change her looks when makeup could have done the same job. |
Elueme: I have followed this thread since yesterday. Before this moment i had taken most comments on NL as political but it seems I was wrong as many people are writhing in raw hatred for anything good.. They are black minds, possessed with the spirit of witches and wizards why they will never be happy seeing people who are happy because they want everyone to be a sadist as they are.. But Holy Ghost fireeeeeeeeee!they are simply sick in their brains. may God have mercy on them!!!! |
Pennywise: it is against everything this forum stands for as far as I am concerned.what does nairaland stand for? |
where's the picture of the husband btw. |
so the guy did not see the lady's family members before marriage. anyway, the story sounds fake but in case it isnt, then why did the lady go for plastic surgery when make up could have more or less achieved the same effect for the most part. |
why does the poster need to know? such info is not used well in juju contexts. |
