are you people sure you read those novels because it doesnt show in your english. |
@ topic i wonder why there are still black people, actually. how do they manage to remain black despite all the centuries of concerted efforts to remove them as well as the crab barrel mentality commonly found with them. |
^^i think you're missing or ignoring her point because you're overly sensitive and defensive about the topic. what she's saying goes beyond what you're referring to, and neither are you both on the same page as per the thread. |
we are getting very close to the end, the battle is more fierce than it has ever beentrue that. |
kudos to him, owo a ma roke, ire akari. May God prosper the work and vision, and keep him by His power. kudos also to the faithful and sincere workers in his ministry. God bless them all. |
I'm not quite sure since I no longer log on nl with my phone, but I think I'm now logged off the nl frontpage or politics section. The system wouldnt let me log off before, but the other day I noticed I seemed to be offline. will check again though, just to be sure. I'll probably cancel my internet subscription anyway- no need to waste money unecessarily. |
eyah. interesting story. |

^are you that fellow? |
btw who is this strangerf whose friend request i just noticed? ![]() awada is that seun or mukina or somebody. |
Nebeuwa: That is not true. The only sector, where the health care profession sees a high turnover is in home health care. That is due mainly to the fact that these workers are not offerred a living wage, low benefits and lack of health insurance. The main reason there is a shortage of health care workers is, because many Americans are not entering into the medical profession, which is an example of the ailments affecting the United States education system. That is why the United States is trying to attract medical professionals from developing nations such as the Philippines, India and China.what is your definition of easier? ![]() the health profession in general has a high turnover. |
lest i forget, imo, the new nl is more suited for nigeria, or is more of a nigerian look, while the old nl had more of an international standard. if nl had been like this from the getgo, might have made a more realistic picture. anyway, i'm not complaining. nothing happens without a reason. |
the problem is spiritual? ![]() is seun no longer an atheist? ![]() anyway! these topics are about the only ones i find interesting these days when i browse nl. Mostly in guest mode. It just seems to take too much effort and a non-existent interest, to check out the site. I'm not complaining though. its not good to be glued to a computer screen indefinitely, lord have mercy. not like i'm being paid to do so. others should carry on. |
^^there's a shortage of healthcare workers because the healthcare profession has a high turnover [s]and neither is this limited to the US alone. [/s] the U.S. State Department is more likely to give an immigrant a Green Card if that person's possesses a skill or expertise that the United States is in dire need of.dire need could be anything from engineering to farm labour. |
this is a forum with an interesting interface: https://shop-e-goods.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/wf.jpg |
this is the old template, in case anyone was wondering. and just so the new traffic has an inkling what nl used to look like. The place musnt go the way of the dodo, with only hand-drawn photos to go by. https://nairabrains.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Nairaland.jpg btw, no preview button? ![]() |
sounds interesting. |
I have also notice that Nigerians who have chosen the medical path have better chances of coming to the United States than people who major in fields such as finance and engineeringnot true at all. |
drink water. i think most drinks/juice sold in nigeria, are from concentrate, meaning high sugar content. you can probably make your own stuff eg from oranges, pineapple, etc. however, i cant say for sure what drinks are ok for you to consume. Read the labels on the packages/bottles and discard anything that says sugar or high fructose corn syrup. also, see a dietician or the equivalent. |
i could say it's daft, not necessarily offensive. |
lol. most of these men marry extremely beautiful women anyway, so does it really matter. |
all these people saying the new nl is perfect on their mobile- are they referring to ipad or something. Or are they multiple ids trying to sell the site or blackberries. also, i'm still permanently logged on to politics or the general nl frontpage and i cant begin to tell you how extremely annoying this is. doubtless some people are hooked on me and love to listen to my conversations, but every addiction should have an expiry date? ![]() |
seriously, is the niger governor a southerner whose great grandparents migrated from the south? ![]() |
video/youtube of the event? ![]() |
^i dont think she is, or has to be. some things are very clear and visible to the far sighted, ie when you look beyond immediate gratification. |
yes, GCE is also an option. ask a school principal in your area. You can also find a safe part of the north, where you can take the exam, assuming you have people you know, there. Older students arent such a rarity like we have in the south. Rural areas in any part of nigeria are also an option. anyway, i also got this from the waec website: Q. Who are those qualified to sit for the WASSCE? |
@ poster you might have to check with WAEC. you can also ask a school principal and see if you can sit for the exam without going back to secondary school. i dont know if that's allowed though. |
any answers? ![]() |
If a check is conducted, I guess the number of hits to the website itself would have reduced by now. It's just not so interesting to visit anymore. I hope the inertia will wear out by the time one gets used to the new look and arrangement, but again, who knows?going through the site these days, all I'm seeing is questionable grammar and toutish conversation. this kind of ten steps backwards for every single step forward, is the typical nigerian scenario sha. no progression but rather regression. Or, more regression than progression. might be a black or colonial thing, who knows. Things like this are the reason why asia overtook nigeria. Hope it didnt just happen again. |
