there's no such thing as nothing. something is there but just in a different form. |
hmm, seems a few other shows got cancelled as well. george lopez, kate gosselin. what shows are replacing them i wonder. |
^^i meant it isnt the ribs of nigeria because its boneless. ![]() |
enough of your s.tupid posts? ![]() how many times must you sound like a broken record. |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday in Calabar tasked religious leaders to show more concern about sources of huge tithes received from members of the congregation, if the war against corruption is to succeed in the country.the huge revenue accrued by militants and boko haram nko? might be harder going after oil bunkerers when you know they will finish you. |
I must be doing a good job, seeing that tpia has not asked me any questionmy question is related to ifa but not the topic ie origins. but what you wrote makes interesting reading, so i'm still trying to analyze it. |
Teachers blame failure in mathematics on lack of concentrationhttp://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/National/5738996-146/teachers_blame_failure_in_mathematics_on.csp |
I love hanging out with geniuseslike my friend too. wonder how she'd have coped with the average joe. ![]() |
it both is and isnt. it is because its extremely popular the same way the american south is all about a good barbeque. however, it isnt because suya is made from boneless cuts of meat, unlike ribs. |
I don't think you will see rib joints in Nigeria because it's not a Nigerian thing but a southern american foodtrue sha. however, i'll make it when i'm in nigeria. maybe i can be the first person to barbeque ribs in my hometown. and make history. |
of course if you see unbiblical doctrines or ungodly practices in your church, use your common sense which God gave you. eg https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-737438.0.html |
^^must be a relatively recent thing, like i pointed out before. |
She studied some math related course in college. |
@ tawa temi oh my gosh, i used to have this friend who made sure she only befriended geniuses. seriously speaking, she only moved with guys who had brains. if she found out you were brilliant, she would stick to you like white on rice. Study groups, exam preparation, etc. i would seriously like to know if she had any male friends who were dolts? ![]() |
I meant lead a horse to water but getting it to drink is something else entirely. |
By geometry i meant the basic stuff about parallelograms and calculating angles. Nothing fancy. Hope i used the right term sef. And yes, teachers (both at home and in school) do play a big part in a student's math aptitude although you can lead a horse to water but getting it to is another thing entirely. Hmm, now i remember one of the rare times i and my friends had evening lessons from one young guy who organized them. He did help me with my math understanding and was very professional in spite of the fact that he was dealing with mostly teenage girls. |
i like geometry, some simple equations, and dont recall what else. aside from that, need much practice. quadratic equation in sec school was the subject feared by many, and which we all got goosebumps over even before the class. people spoke of it in whispers as if na one dreaded masquerade. |
@ topic eastern europeans [in their countries] and asians seem to consistently do rather well in the sciences though. |
i mean might not do so well in english though this isnt always the case. |
many people who are good at math might be lower in english. |
^^oh, ok. however, maybe you were in a science class? there's usually one of those, one social science, two arts, one one more which doesnt come to mind. or two sciences, one social, one arts, etc etc. not sure what the current system is. |
but e even be like say dem get more people wey dey goodu for maths pass people wey dey goodu for English sef.^^not sure but that's a bit doubtful. |
math requires a lot of practice, and i suspect some students who arent math geniuses but who might still be good at it if they worked harder, simply arent ready to make time for that. |
^^what exactly is your problem with someone calling himself ogbeni? is that your family name? ![]() you've been corrected twice now and its still annoying you? |
@ topic Rare snowfall on Earth’s driest desert in Chilehttp://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/capital-weather-gang/post/rare-snowfall-on-earths-driest-desert-in-chile/2011/07/22/gIQAjEkqTI_blog.html |
its something that needs to be worked on, if true. nigeria used to have a lot of math whizzes. |
@ topic interesting. i'll like to see how it goes in the nigerian market. |
shadrach77:that's because they're marketed abroad as well. and more established. i havent checked but you'll probably find onyeka, ebenezer obey, etc on itunes too. |
