Even in white countries lynchers do not roam free anyhow without at least some of them being arrested and charged. How can people be lynching in public like this and the nigerian govt does nothing? ![]() From abuja to lagos to the north. For goodness sake, you're supposed to arrest any of the lynchers you catch, and make a public example of them. These animals have been filmed and videotaped while burning others alive for flimsy and unproven allegations yet no arests were made? ![]() Has nigeria reverted to a jungle? Clifford orji was handed over to the police even though his spot under the bridge was littered with human bodies and parts. Why wasnt he lynched by these other cannibals? ![]() |
Why are lynch mobs roaming around all over nigeria and what ís the nigerian govt doing to stop these people? ![]() They're just lynching others anyhow. Why hasnt the police arrested and prosecuted any of the lynchers? ![]() |

Mrs. Josephine Damilola-Kuteyihow old was this lady because her kids all seem to be in their late twenties or early thirties. http://pmnewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/KUTEYI-4.jpg may she rip sha. the name sounds vaguely familiar- like one of those rich families or something. since her kids and husband all have muslim names, are they muslim or christian? ![]() |
book smart street f.oolish as they say. get involved with a local church or something if you're not an atheist. you can also ask your relatives to hook you up with suitable people. at least that way you'll socialize somewhat and work through a variety of situations. though any gaffe could make you the butt of jokes for a while sha. |
a better question would be money or gossip, which rules the world. |
So how is that raw cassava ibos eat prepared ? Do they cook it or they have a special chemical to remove the toxins in it ?
the one they eat is processed, not raw, technically.
With water ? Is water enough to remove toxin from a fermenting cassava ?
soaking it in water leaches out some of the toxic substances. the water has to be changed regularly to eliminate those as much as possible. with gari, the additional process of frying or heating removes the rest. as someone pointed out, different types of cassava have different levels of the toxin. |

I think she's supposed to register for marriage counseling, together with her fiance. Most churches have this requirement irrespective of denomination. If nobody knows her in the church however, then there might be a problem but nevertheless they might still be able to work something out. Other options include getting married in her parents church or a registry. If she prefers rccg, then she should be a little more patient and also pray. Is she in nigeria or overseas. |
The processing removes the poison. Draining the water several times and also the heating process which transforms the poison into a harmless form and i think evaporates it into air or something like that. I know i've watched gari being processed in my grandma's compound before. Or was it something else. |
Sort of interesting thread. Currently trying out egg whites (no yolk). Are those available in nigeria yet because it was someone back home who advised me about that. |
Bluetooth are you seriously saying you dont know raw cassava is poisonous? ![]() I thought these things were taught in school or something or am i mistaken. |
@ topic i see the media have again been cued to start whipping up frenzy. Lets see what other interesting headlines and stories they come up with. |
Toba i think your shame should be connected to your activities on this forum, not some wild tales by moonlight somewhere. |
No one comes to mind, actually. I think i saw an ex governor once and that's about it. Cant even recall his name or state he governed and besides i only saw him from a distance, not even close up. I may have seen someone from a tv show somewhere -foggy details. |
