Imo, the guy isnt from idemili or idomili (is that what he called it). Could also be he has skeletons in his closet. If you know his family, go ahead and introduce youself if you feel like it. However, if you think there may be a problem, then maybe you should think it over. With the many troubles attached to travelling abroad these days, a lot of people dont even use their real names anymore talkless their actual hometowns. However, just my opinion and i could be wrong. Nothing's set in stone. |
Must the world end because somebody somewhere has a sex addiction? ![]() |
Whatever paralyzed the first wife can also kill the second one. Why do people willingly go into relationships as the second/third/tenth/thirtieth wife and some even dump their single boyfriends/fiances to do so. This has always puzzled me. Is it the money? Or having been betrayed by a single guy.Just some of the reasons i've heard. |
^True, for the most part. @ topic i think the issue people are pointing out here is our tendency as nigerians to elevate personal, not universal standards of beauty. That's why many non-nigerians find it puzzling when we admire folks as the epitome of beauty, but they cant find a valid explanation for why we're seeing it that way. Many explanations for this phenomenon which dont need addressing but the thing with the MBGN pageant is it's based on connections not primarily beauty per se. My two cents. |
A second syrian lesbian blogger has again been outed as a straight male. Interesting!!!! Does this mean some nl lesbian posters are as a matter of fact, male? ![]() |
is this why the people abusing his wife, suddenly backpedalled. na wa for nlers. |
Smh |
I dont understand the story fully so i'll reread it later. Poster which of the guys did you say makes your mum lose her appetite whenever she thinks of him. |
hope the thread isnt some sort of scam. ![]() |
Never too late to be a doctorinteresting write up. |
and guess what- even the media can be fooled: US man sorry for 'Gay Girl in Damascus' blog hoax |
biglawks:well, you dont have to marry someone with a bum. |
Omotola, who earlier on refused any guy’s hand around her waist area during a photo session after the press conference held at the Sky Plus Hotel at Ho, said she was not aware the guy’s hand was on her buttocks.when nl nearly shut down from the traffic and some people almost busted their bloomers over that picture. |
i think most tribal marks these days are limited to these types: https://farm5.static.flickr.com/4003/4365759475_1a4c9e8c6d.jpg http://www.flickr.com/photos/gabman1/4365759475/ i hope, that is. more medicinal than otherwise. i'm more or less indifferent, really, but i dont think the practice is as widespread as before. |
^^can you post a better view of that girl's face? ![]() i want to see her from another angle. or, can you post the link- maybe they'll have more photos there. i'm looking at her eyelashes, in case you were wondering. I guess they're real. |
yoruba ti di yeye- o ma se o. from the ones doing d.aft ads for south africa, to this other f.ool showcasing his folly. who are these people and where do they come from. |
And btw @ logica i have to disagree with your assumption about good pounded yam only being found in ekiti. I've had pounded yam in ibadan that matches anywhere for quality. |
@ topic well, she certainly showed all the haters. Lol |
Lagcity i dont think your analysis is correct about ekiti being the only ones who know what type of yam is best for pounding. Efuru doesnt sound familiar to me but that could be because you didnt add the pronounciation. As i pointed out, i've attended too many "ases" to count, and many times i wasnt there as an observer but as one of the "workers". So i know how yam is selected for pounding, hopefully i havent forgotten the details. But as far as variety goes, most of the yams consumed as cooked yams, can also be made into pounded yam, with the exception of wateryams. I do see your point however. |
not really manly skills but more like agbero skills. well, since there's no formula 1 or nascar racing in nigeria. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . they must take out the frustration on women. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
However @ topic one cannot also rule out a genetic factor here, because its entirely possible not everyone will respond to the chemicals in the yam the same way. lagcity:dont know the percentage, but yorubas have a very high incidence of males in general. likewise the north, southsouth, southeast, midwest. |
@ logica thesame type of yam selected for pounding in ekiti, is also used for the same in other parts of the southwest. There's no magic or lucky numbers involved. My point about wateryam was that's the major variation on the standard yam that i know of. Other minor variations on the type of yam include those hairy ones, the yellow type (not very common), etc. However, all of these are used to make pounded yam anywhere in yorubaland. Trust me- i've been to enough "ases" and peeled my share of yam in nigeria. |
1. is he dating genevieve? ![]() 2. i've seen pictures of ita giwa's "men" and they look better than him, no offence. Maybe its a bad photo. |
MeandSum:really? ![]() it's not a new thing though- i mean the high number of males. I think its always been like that. however, this doesnt mean there are more males than females. males possibly seem to be more because of the widespread geography in the southwest. i think other areas like the north and southsouth/southeaste/midwest also have the same. |
logica:there's no particular type of yam exclusively consumed by ekiti people. the different yam you're mentioning is probably wateryam which is eaten more in ijebu area, but that doesnt mean it also isnt eaten across yorubaland. it just cant be made into pounded yam, that's all. this isnt rocket science or magic abeg. igbo ora in oyo state also has a high twinning rate but they probably eat amala more than pounded yam. una no dey hear word ni. |
Notplastic:on any given day, yoruba are marrying igbo. so what's the problem? ![]() |
ziga:"level of yam consumption" is a more appropriate term, not "yam eating abilities". |
let's stop being bush plz. this is the 21st century. your guy friend can also bash your car. and stop sounding so misogynistic- women this women that. very caveman-ish. sorry for the extra expenses but that's nigerian driving and btw you can also bash someone's car. |
^^igbo ora in oyo state also has an unusually high number of twinnings. it seems to be specifically higher among yorubas in general, with ekiti and a few places like igbo ora, at the peak. i dont know if the fact that twins are welcomed and celebrated in the southwest, is also a factor. |
^^hmm, that's a tough one. i guess it would be up to the bank. however, he does run the risk of being refused the money though i cant say for sure. |
