Welrez: My dear, nothing much to say about how I was able to keep it to this stage. I was too immersed in studying to ever have time for girls. Though I was not brought up in a strict religious home, my early fondness for study made me imbibe the need for discipline. This does not mean it was without its ups and downs but, I think generally speaking, it was a smooth sail. I could remember how I attempted wooing a girl at university, her response was a rhetorical question, 'why dont you use the time for wooing girls to preach Christ?'. My roommate still throws this gibe at me occasionally, lol. I learnt a lifetime lesson from that incident not to go with the crowd, for my act was prompted by peer pressure. I'm happy that I am about to marry the nicest girl of all the girls I have met in my life. I feel the urge was great at adolescence but thereafter it ebbed away. I mastered myself and became determined more than ever to finish the race virginly.

“Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of

serpents.” 1 corinthians 10 9
The character of God is revealed in His
dealings with man throughout the Bible –
Old and New Testament. Even though we
now enjoy the Grace of God because of the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we must remember
that the character of God has not changed.
He is today the same God that He is in the
Old Testament.
Numbers 21 talks about the people of Israel
speaking against God and against Moses.
This act angered God who permitted many of
those who erred in this way to be bitten by
fiery serpents which flooded their camp.
Paul in our text today warns believers not to
waive that event away as past. He warns
them not to Tempt Christ by speaking
against God and His anointed men because
it still attracts the same judgment.
God’s warning that His ministers must not
be maltreated or manhandled in any way
stands. To do otherwise is to tempt Christ
and open up oneself to spiritual attacks.
When you speak against God and his
anointed, you are breaking the edge and if
you break the edge, the serpent will bite. We
must revere what God has instituted and not
in any way seek to undermine it. Ananias
and Sapphira did not get another chance.
God’s Grace is however available to you
today to make amends. To speak against
God or His anointed men must become a
taboo to you; a no go area! Honor God and
honor his anointed. Let that be your focus
today and every day.

So someone like me now who sees all these trash as silly and types in accord must be really oppressed in my marriage because forgive me I don't understand how this is an issue.

I believe when people get married,all these misinformation will stop.
I can state so many scenarios where couples wake up and get lost in the romance of the morning to even bother about greeting.

Or some scenarios where the husband greets his wife first even before she has a chance to open her mouth and greet.

Or a scenario where both of them blurt the good morning out simultaneuosly and begin to laugh about how their both greetings came at the same exact time. And that's because neither of them was waiting for the other to say it first.

How will I wake up and stare at hubby waiting for him to greet me first? I can't imagine it.
Neither can I imagine a scenario where he sees me first and keeps mute until I greet him first.
If this should ever happen to any couple,then something is wrong somewhere.
But I believe a normal marriage sees either of the party ready to start up the days romance regardless of who speaks or greets first.

Pls you guys should stop scaring single ladies into thinking that marriage is one huge rule laden ride and they can't be happy in it unless they are constantly fanning egos.
