So, I have a brief question. Does it ever happen to you that sometimes you don't feel like talking to anyone, you don't take calls, you don't reply messages, you just ignore everyone? I go through this phase sometimes, but it never lasts as long as I'm having it now. This is the seventh day.
I'm not depressed or sad or anything, but the thought of actually talking to someone irritates me or seems like a chore. I know it's a bad habit as people may have been trying to reach me to no avail but I can't just help it. Does anyone else experience this? How do I break this habit? Does it have anything to do with being a recluse?

Its been mad crowd today at the Eket branch of first bank, same as its been for the past two weeks which i have been trying to get mine done. Today is the worst as i got there by 08:00am and got number 111 as they now go serially. I realy anticipate the extension of this exercise.

You must not do the BVN registration at your bank. Go to ANY bank that is less crowded and do your registration. Once you get your BVN, take the number and submit it at all the banks where you have account.

The Queen of England has honoured a young Nigerian girl.

The young Nigerian girl, Nkechi Azinge, who is sold out to catering for sickle cell patients was among the four Nigerians who were honored by the queen of England.

They were awarded yesterday, June 22, 2015 at the The Queen’s Young Leader Award which held at the Buckingham palace. Azinge who runs a Sickle Cell Foundation also got support for her work from David Beckham and the executive producer of 12 Years a Slave, Steve McQueen.

Just few days ago, ex-beauty queen and Nollywood actress Stephanie Okereke-Linus and her husband, Linus Idahosa were specially invited by the Queen of England to be honoured at the 2015 edition of Queen’s Young Leaders Award. Here are photos of

You are on point, but even the diagnostic centre of Sullivan Chime, even as it was not completed is still classy. Good quality construction all the way.

Spyder I don't know, but you seem to have something against Chime for not completing this centre in his tenure. I think this mindset is limiting. The project is still on. You make it sound as if it's abandoned. Government should not be seen as a personal thing, where Governors embark on only projects that can be started and commissioned during their tenure. I know he should have done something about the ICC but maybe there are more to it than just the ebe-ano rivalry.
The main thing is that money for the diagnostic centre seem to be secure, based on the steady progress on the construction. Passed there today and a signage bearing its name is already up.
My only disappointment remains the state of hotel presidential.

For everyone saying she should foot the bill, that's not how it works here. If I and a friend go out for a meal, we each pay for our own meal!!!

If I wanted to treat my friend to a meal, I would let them know that is the case, but they would not automatically expect me to do that.

She also mentioned he ordered the most expensive thing on the menu. Only a person hoping to take advantage would do that and then expect the other person to pay.

Here's what happened; a lady invited a male friend to go eat dinner at an Italian restaurant. After ordering an expensive dish and eating his fill, the bill came and he asked her to pay for it. Irritated at his behaviour, she requested that they both pay for their respective meals. The guy said he was going out to get money to pay but never returned and what did the lady do? She shared the guy's pic on Facebook and shamed him...

Am I the only one who saw the part that says SHE INVITED HIM? Whats all these noise about? Thumbs up for the guy. At least girls can now see what we suffer in their hands when we take them out and they want to also take the pot away.

This just happened at my office today.
Our Human Resource (HR) personnel called some people yesterday to come for a job interview today, giving them all necessary details about the interview, venue etc. Today, the interview was conducted and our HR personnel discovered a guy wasn’t around among the interviewee. However, she (HR) called him to know if all was well only for the guy to tell her he didn’t receive any call from our company after which she ended the call. The guy letter called back saying he just discovered after checking his call log that our company truly called, but his phone was with his 15 years old younger brother as at that time who was playing game on his phone and he (the younger brother) was the one who received the call and got all the message on his behalf but forgot to deliver the message to him.
The guy pleaded if the company could reconsider, saying he has been searching for jobs for many years and our HR personnel told him she will get back to him if the company reconsiders. But the truth is, the interview has already been concluded and they have chosen those they want to choose.
I pity him though, but………GOD knows best.
