humblemoi:I picked up on the exact same thing. Same format as the last time/fellow. |
papyjaypaul:she fell pregnant, just like Linda Ikeji did. One's gotta be careful on these slippery floors. |
Y'all will learn the hard way. Everybody go get sense las las, by fire and by force. 😎 |
missjekyll:I just saw the bolded. Yes, that is correct. Again, I did not call it emergency contraception anywhere in my posts. I wrote out the name of the emergency contraceptive Postinor 2 just to be clear I was talking about different levels/tiers |
missjekyll:I didn't call it emergency contraception. Let's stay on point. I said there are medications that you can use up to 2wks post-coitus with as little risk as using postinor 2. I didn't say it was an emergency contraceptive like postinor 2. I also only stated this to show there are medications and options that can be used even up to two weeks, and that for that reason abortion isn't a first line response or defence to rape, but rather last line. |
missjekyll:check one of your threads. Once you see it, let me know here, and I'll delete it there. Then do your research and then come back to share your findings |
missjekyll:dey play This one no be Google, although e dey Google sha. I'm telling you facts. Up to 2weeks post coitus, e go activate menstruation up to 80% of the time.. and out comes the lining and everything on the lining. Yes, per the use of emergency contraceptives eg postinor 2, I already said up to 72hrs is the best. Infact to be quaint, up to 48hrs is best, by 72hrs success rates already down to 50%. But make no mistake, menstruation can be kick-started by other medication up to 2weeks post coitus with a 80% success rate. If you Google it, it will show you the medication. Not advocating for this, I'm just sharing information due to this convo ni o, based on even personal experience not Google or hearsay. Just trying to show that so much can be done that doesn't include abortion after a rape |
Zahra29:in addition, even on the issue of rape, this isn't 1792. Even in Nigeria as backward as it is, after a rape is committed, there are medicaments that the victim can take 24-72 hrs after intercourse to prevent conception. As a bad boy back in the day, my babes used am wella on the few times that we slipped up...there was postinor 2 to the rescue. If the tin don hook sef, the one wey go do the do even up to 2weeks post-coitus sef dey. So expectedly, common sense dictates that there will be a wider variety/spectrum of options in the 'abroad', to prevent conception after an unfortunate rape incident. So talking like a full abortion with all the bells and whistles is the ONLY available solution option following a rape is obviously blatantly mischievous and utterly ridiculous. Even HIV sef get PEP regimen wey you fit use hours after exposure. And yes, they administer all this medications as standard preventive measures after a rape (I mean including PEP) cos you don't know what medical conditions the assailant/rapist had. Now in the instances where conception still happens despite all odds (and yes that can happen on rare occasions), there is the abortion option as a last resort, which should be easy to prove cos there will be records and documentation to that effect. Abortion in this day and age is not a first resort option or response to rape. Painting it as though it is, is very infantile🤣 |
justwise:again not true. People are leaving not cos they can't get abortions in even the Cray Cray Alabama for lack of facilities to get it done, provided they are the listed aforementioned exceptional cases. They are leaving to other states cos they don't fit the said exceptional cases. Two very different things. |
Zahra29:he/anyone that really wants to know, can simply go on Google and check the rules for each republican state pertaining to rape. Pretty easy right..lol At least thankfully, we have successfully cleared up the false controversy on life threatening conditions. That is one milestone.. |
missjekyll:don't know about propaganda, but the law is what is quoted below. Even includes rape, human trafficking and incest as exceptions, aside the very obvious threat to the mother's life in Florida In Alabama, only exception is when the mother's life is at risk Let's say no to propaganda 💯 With or without Roe v Wade, when the life of the mother is at risk, as in justwise's hypothetical case, abortion is allowed.

Noted |
Lexusgs430:lol😁🤣 You be eel....person no just fit hold you...lol |
missjekyll:really can't comment on that...but would Def be smart to seek evidence... Cos no be today propaganda don dey on overdrive on top sensitive issues, esp in the US of A. Also and more importantly, before we go off tangent, lets remind ourselves that I responded to answer/correct Justwise's question/inference on the implications of Roe v Wade, in life threatening pregnancies. |
Lexusgs430:Oga Lexus, e sha ba emi mu Google pixel kan wa, as you dey come so ooo...as my huncle in the habroad wey you be💯😁 |
justwise:since I'm all for factual and correct information and enlightenment, I will speak to the bolded.😎😁 Roe v Wade both when it was in force and now that it has been overturned, always have in both instances allowed for abortion when the mother's life is at risk. 3ven with Roe v Wade it would be illegal to remove a 6 months old preggo, fundamental human right notwithstanding, cos it poses a threat to the woman's life. And without Roe v Wade, an early high risk preggo with severe co-morbidities like diabetes, hypertension or say an ectopic pregnancy would be legal to be terminated, as not doing so poses a threat to the woman's life. The end!

This is actually quite stupid...reason is, I checked this guy out and he ran against Rishi in the same constituency that Rishi still won its seat (North Yorkshire), despite that he lost the PM seat. He still won his seat and will be part of parliament once again. So Niko that L is really for you, cos you lost and he won his seat.

And so..... How she take dey different from all the other abductees that have died in captivity? She ain't special abeg. Let's wait for the headlines when a prominent person in the ruling govt is abducted and killed, not some worthless sycophant praise singers woes. Tough luck for him and their family! Next! |
otherway:spot on! I share same sentiment. I believe given the slate he was handed he managed the affairs of the UK well, and his policies were just what were needed. This Labour PM strikes me like he will turn out to be what APC has turned out to be in Nigeria...a colossal disaster. The labour run councils are not good indicators of positive governance from what I have read, and like one agbadorian said, and on this one I agree with him, they are all talk, but no mention on how they will make all this happen... reminiscent of what the APC did, having taken over power now for 9 years, but have not only demonstrated utter cluelessness, but have sink the country deep into an abyss. Time will tell. That said, the people of Great Britain have spoken, loud and clear! All the best with their choice. |
🤣🤣🤣 APC and fakery are Siamese twins. Fake bishops Fake yoots 🤣🤣🤣 |
Lol. Una go explain taya🤣 |
Anunakeeh:you on the other hand are tirelessly inconsequential. 😎🖕😎 Neanderthal that can't even write or punctuate correctly 🤣 |
Anunakeeh:would a bicycle be in my room taking up very useful space and ruining the aesthetics? That would be odd, wouldn't it? With a pair of glasses, one can see it is not a room but my store premises, I sell mattresses, and that was in the harmattan...you were blind to the mattresses stacked atop one another, amongst other things huh? Rest, Indian. |
SamueItem337:still drinking mad puss piss despite my earlier prayers huh? Your matter go continue to defy prayers for long be that oooo Carry on. |

I don't think it was risque. It was her trying something different and she knew this would happen. You don't fall pregnant by someone you have regular meetings with, you get pregnant.
