Na so o. At least now, they can say they got rice and wrapper from the 2023 elections. Hurray! |
fullclub:what is the source of your graph? Show the source let's see na. I showed mine and it cannot be refuted. Nigeria didn't even get up to 60k visas at any time between 2018 to 2023 while China and India got between 100-140k several times between 2018-2023. That's home office stats right up there, and that is the fact. Which is why after the sliding tackle home office gave student visas by stopping dependent, and despite that most Nigerians have stayed away due to that, admissions only dropped by 5%. Too much noise and ado about nothing. |
fullclub:it is not hate. It is just the way it is. All this story no concern the school. Why are you not getting that? Of course I remember you, your thread and your case. I commented and was one of those who offered encouragement, but the fact remains the school is not a charity and didn't offer those people scholarships. Nothing concerns them with Nigeria's hopeless situation caused by hopeless evil leaders. They wanted their money, and these students couldn't pay up when it was due, and now the repercussions have happened. EOD |
After deliberately thwarting his extradition to the US to answer for his crimes, you are now supposedly granting him bail so he can disappear into the sunset....that is if he was ever in detention in the first instance. Anyway, whatever... |
fullclub:again bro, why are the Indians, Chinese, Ghanaian and all the other international students at Teeside not protesting, and ONLY Nigerians are? I don't know where you copied that graph from but I have attached a graph from .gov.uk source below, and you can see that at best we are a very very distant number 3. See all this one no even matter, as no be main issue. The main issue is we don't have two heads or any special status in this instance. If fees had been paid before the deadlines, they wouldn't have issues. They have issues cos fees were not paid. Nothing concerns the uni with one country's/students woes.
|
fullclub:bro, pls correct that misinformation, just in case you are serious. The facts have been out since last year bro. International students are sustaining the universities, not Nigerians. Nigerians are a small sub-set of those international students! The only negative reason we got recognition by home-office is that despite that the Nigerian student numbers are smaller than the rest of international students, we ended up bringing in more dependents than almost all the other intl student dependent numbers combined! Why aren't the Chinese protesting or the Indians, or even freaking Ghanaians or all the international students from various countries not protesting at Teeside? See why I say they are being a nuisance? The Nigerian maladministration and also the 'risk factor' that most if not all of them indulged in, caught up with them. It is painful yea, but they should take their L and re-strategize and not this stoopid protest. You can't decide terms for the university or expect special treatment because unfortunately you have useless leaders back home that fuckkkkked things up for you. Fact is, it is none of the university's concern...and this protest will achieve nothing but even cause problems for others in the future. Maybe when Nigerians get blacklisted from applying for student visas in many of their universities people will understand. |
ReesheesuKnack:eggzactly! On this one, I agree with you 💯..pathetic and annoying! and I ain't sorry to say it. When they (Home office) change the rules and adopt block accounts like Germany now, or even outrightly blacklist Nigerians from student visas, everybody eye go clear. Even then, Nigerians will still yammer cos na birthright apparently Quick question, do these people think Nigerians are the only international students? Why in the hell do you think/assume that the university will bend over backwards for you cos you are from Nigeria and your useless leaders are doing what they know how to do best? Awon ko lo koba yin now. The Nigerian maladministration and also the 'risk factor' that most if not all of them indulged in, caught up with them. It is painful, but they should take their L and re-strategize and not this stoopid protest. We be making too much noise, as usual. Meanwhile, fact is una no rish Shior. |

casualobserver:of course you deferred to worthless shalaye..all of a sudden it remembers Einstein's theory of relativity..smh Evidently, I have more neural activity in my left testicle, than you do in your entire brain, despite being a spring chicken. I have pointed out what I needed to, and have no interest in engaging you any further, due to paragraph 2 above. Carry on... |
casualobserver:normal normal I have been reading your lies and distortions, but this one irked me so bad that I had to break my code of engaging with certain types of elements like you on here. Just to puncture your lie, and for others to learn, kindly show us inflation rates of these countries you mentioned that have been battling inflation of just a measly 20% not even our current 34% since 2021. I already explained all in my thread https://www.nairaland.com/8017949/way-nigeria-people-govt-got , esp how I told all who cared to listen that Cardunce-o is at best an australopithecus in a suit...and it feels good to know that I have been vindicated. I have added the inflation rates for 4 countries, warring Ukraine included as of today

True that Take a survey of people who had their accounts compromised and money stolen, 99% of the cases/funds stolen went into palmpay accounts first. |
Lol. This is getting interestico. When cost of capital now stands at 27%, meaning lenders will charge between 32-35%, SMEs which are the productive sector don begin dey die be that na. When cost of capital alone has taken 35%, and other costs never even enter...meaning they either go public to raise equity, raise prices and pass the costs over to their goods/services, or just leave the game. Based on history, we can safely narrow it down to the last two options. Nigeria, the conundrum.🤣🤣🤣 |
Crucialgem:lol..in countries with stable currencies. And this folks is the reason why WE save our money in a foreign and stable currency. Until the govt gets their shit together, anybody castigating you for HODL dollars is just an unfortunate person wey wan turn you to what we Yoruba call 'da bi mo se da'🤣🤣🤣 2014 Accord price in 2014 2024 Accord price in 2024 No significant difference Check 2004 accord price in 2004, it will still be within same range Lol

Deadline number 4 Wankerrrrss! |
Idiots now want the opposition to profer solutions🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 These guys have totally gone bat shit crazy! |
Good job. Keep up the pressure. Make I see how level-less Tinubu won't release him before the end of the month. Blaming binance for your country's woes, then thinking it is a good idea to kidnap a US citizen when there are laid down guidelines of how such an international exchange should happen. They think what they did with Nnamdi Kanu will work in this instance. Newsflash, Tigran is NOT part-Nigerian. The game is on. |
tctrills:don't mind nairalanda1. I don't even bother again, because he consistently downplays the corruption. The response is always even if they removed the corruption same noni, which I know damn well to be blatantly false. The reason y'all should expect 1k and above to be the norm is cos of Thubv's stupidity floating the currency and removing subsidy at the same time. There is common sense and situational leadership..like I have always pointed out to the dude, economic theories don't always work in real life as compared to on paper esp for this naija, and I always reference the local rice Vs foreign rice noise that economists and Bubu made. How far today? Use book theory run business for naija, if your business no pack up in one year, call me king 😁 There is situational leadership backed by common sense, not just using theories like a prescription...esp when history says they are not guaranteed to work. If they had prevented the naira from burning, the anguish felt today would have been greatly minimised. Subsidy would have still been removed and cos the currency is stable and holding strong, the hyperinflation wouldn't have happened, and fuel would still be in the 600's max. Now with the current value of the naira, even if Dangote starts today na above 1k una go buy am, if they don't pay him subsidy. How have the economic theory prescriptions helped so far? They have fumbled and gone back to their vomit on both moves.....due to a lack of common sense. Nothing surprising here for me, I don already talk every for my thread earlier in the year. https://www.nairaland.com/8017949/way-nigeria-people-govt-got |
gnss:keep trusting the person you and the elderly man voted for. He tamed the Atlantic Ocean, and parted the red sea. Have a little bit more faith in those his abilities that made you say 'he is the man'. Do you employ a sales manager, pay him a salary, give him a car, and then still do his job for him? Kamari! |
Sccarrr:and will still be the reality after the refineries begin, thanks to your stoopid president who swiftly made your currency tissue paper. Petrol costs more to refine than diesel, so if Dangote is selling diesel at the rate of 1000 for 1million litre orders, and there is rousing applause, how much do you reckon he will sell petrol that costs more to refine? Well, maybe if they pay him subsidy sha. As long your country's currency is worthless, be prepared for this new reality |
Martinez39s:guy na me use my hand type say the thing really affect my mood this evening. I have asked myself all these questions too. But at the end of the day, I believe in God, and that he decides what is what. Till this moment, I just dey discuss the girl issue with my wife, and just venting about how it makes me feel. Infact, if I was her and I waited for a miracle deliverance and it didn't happen, if I no fit kill myself, I will agitate my abductors either by trying to escape or trying to kill one of them just so they can kill me off already, rather than to endure the abuse that this girl must have endured all these years. I'm really not happy reading this particular update. |
I remember the many times I prayed for this girl..cos her case/story really touched me. All I wanted was for God to deliver her from these marauders, as he did Paul and Silas. I wanted to see her case be one that will manifest the power of God. If I say this news no weak me, na lie. Well, you are God unquestionable. If this is how you want it, Glory be to your name all the same. |
Partial stroke at age 40, and already with 12 children, dying in a brothel?? This nigga! |
Well, she is a pussy cat. |
They should rather let it burn?? |
seunmsg:lol. Struggling with Basic math🤣🤣🤣 75% of x means 0.75 multiplied by x 10% means 0.1 0.5% means 0.005 Smh |
Zahra29:lol. Still a little too early to conclude that. I have read three news sources since you broke the news and all said the same thing 'the UK govt did not name a country' I say let's give it time. |
Bear in mind, the last population census took place even before I went for youth service in the north in 2010. Everything since then has been estimated. I can say it with my full chest that even the percentages of the Hausa-Fulani bloc alone has increased exponentially. These guys are the ones fuelling the population explosion. How many children Yoruba or Igbo don born since last census? Fulani alone go don quintuple the number, and all those babies that disease, insurgency and hunger did not kill since the last census in 2006, likely were all of legal voting age in 2023 election, won't even talk of the illegals. That is why I feel no pity for the travails of northern Nigeria as a whole. Cos it is deliberate, self-motivated, and self-inflicted. They have only one strategy, strength and pride: their numbers! |
anonimi:I will say this once and very bluntly. When election comes there is almost always a united Northern Nigeria! Sprinkle of religion, remember? When election comes there is almost always never a united southern Nigeria. EOD Fact remains bloc by bloc, the Hausa Fulani have the highest numbers as a standalone bloc, more than Yoruba or Igbo. When will Yoruba and Igbo and other southerner unite to be formidable, like you have opined in your earlier calculation, me i no know. |
Gerrard59:they are largely dumb as rocks is why. There is mad money in the north! mad money! but concentrated in the hands of very very few. Has always been that way. The south's enlightenment is our saving grace. Thanks to people like Awolowo. We are so vastly educated and enlightened, and that is why we are more prosperous. You can have rights and not even know how to use them! |
anonimi:Hausa-Fulani are not less. Wetin you dey talk na. Do you really believe Southern Nigeria has more numbers?? I would implore you to perish the thought. This one is not propaganda o, the north has far more numbers. Their crazy birth rate is enough evidence, as in enough said. Haba If you feel they are more quality, no lele. The quality dey show wella. |
Gerrard59:brozay, this one no enter The Hausa Fulani practices right to inquiry (the things they inquire about fit just dey worrthless and disappointing), they enjoy personal freedoms (too much freedom even, they get away with things we won't dare do in the south), the right to choose (they enjoy and brag about this one sef, even though no be sensible choices), right to criticize (they can even burn you or slit your throat with no consequence in broad daylight if you be Christian, elite or not). They enjoy these rights, but are too dumb to use it in any way that is empowering, even to them. Do they criticize their leaders who pauperize them? No, not cos they can't, but they don't even have the sense or will to, but sprinkle a little religion and see that they know damn well how to exercise these rights. |
anonimi:by a dysfunctional democracy..i spelt that out, how did you not see that? You used Nigeria as an example, and rightly so. Our dominant group are archaic, and so thanks to democracy which is a game of numbers we largely remain archaic, cos unlike I who is exposed and educated and have two children, they at 15/16 years old probably already have more children than I do, and has been so for as long as I can remember. Southern Nigeria isn't the bloc fuelling the population explosion over the last 30 years, northern Nigeria is. My parent's generation, average number of children born no fit pass 3. Our generation, pretty sure the average is 1 That's how |
