Like comprehension is a big problem for you...
Now ask your friend how visible it is for someone to pay balance of tuition fee with house rent working 20 hours per week.
Don't mistake the warnings on this thread to those that say...ehnnn UK is boring/depressing....ehn after converting the house rent they pay in naira and they'll start shouting Don't come.
This is student visa route thread...
The warning is different from those....(and honestly, those other ones are bullshit)
If u av free accommodation and feeding is sorted out and u av like 70 percent of the fee already...
Why not...
All that is being said is Don't bank on 20 hours work limit to pay rent and like 60/70 percent of the fee.
Which is what lots of people bank on.
If u don't fall into that category, the warning is not for u... the comprehension problem choke. Maybe he will take in all these ones from Teeside in the link above that will now be deported. Private healthcare is a choice, you can use NHS like Keir and wait forever for your appointment and procedure.
Private nursery school is also a choice. Most people keep their kids at home until they reach school age.
None of these private services are any different from private school education but Labour has chosen to discriminate against one group of people to match their left wing ideology. very well said..A perfectly logical submission |

The Leaders humans choose are products of same environment in which the electorates will be exercising their rights at the ballot.
A society with 85% of Fools will always stand a higher statistical chance of offering idiots their highest offices.
So, please keep God out of it well said. I basically said the same thing months ago, in a travel thread for that matter, but still essentially the same thing Treadway: sorry, just went back to re-check his post, and saw that he didn't put that there. So I will rightly help him upgrade/flesh up that concept.
The quality of the dominant group matters o. As you have rightly identified, as in the case of Nigeria, when the dominant group is still largely archaic, then we have what we have. Which is one of the reasons why we wonder how we keep getting the worst of us in the so-called democracy. It is cos the numbers of those who DONT have any semblance of sense far outstrips the number of those who do.
The dominant racial group we have is plagued with willful poverty and a gross aversion to education, and thus an aversion to a progressive existence....and that is one of the prime reasons we are where we are today. They know this and carry the badge of their huge numbers with pride.... unfortunately doing so ninu oshi at ise (lack and despondency), and dragging the rest of the country into the abyss.
Democracy is actually not just govt of the people as we tend to chorus, but in reality govt of the majority of the people....now when the quality of that majority is shit, then you are doomed. Will our dominant block somehow in no time become wiser, more enlightened, more educated? your guess is as good as mine.

NinjaMetahuman: intend?
I thought you are so sure that they have been paying billions for subsidy? What do you mean intend again? Do you know what intend means?
You won't even come back to this conversation if you have any shame
I literally told you that it will be illegal and practically impossible for any president to pay any form of subsidy without budget.
You said no, they are paying from tinubu's pocket, only to come back gloat over what exactly? Gloat over the fact that they intend to pay subsidy that they are yet to pay but claim they have been paying? NinjaMetahuman: first off, no. It's not about basic math, if is it's, petrol price will be the same world wide. Price varies based on past deals and infrastructure or distance to move petrol around.
Secondly, only nnpc can tell you the actual landing cost, not newspaper.
3rdly, price of fuel varies nationwide. It's not uniform.
Fourthly, nnpc is not the sole importer of petrol anymore, but people continue to buy from nnpc because they already have the infrastructure and to get decent landing cost which other importers cannot compete with but newspapers keep announcing landing costs for competitions.
Fifthly and the most important; You can't pay subsidy worth billions without putting it in budget for approval of Senate. Not only will that be illegal, billions of naira is not going to come from thin air, it has to come from somewhere? Question is where? because they have cleverly tagged subsidy as under-recovery. With just a little intelligence, one can guess they are simply importing at a huge loss and plugging the gaping hole consequent from that with/from other sources, basically just buying time till Dangote comes on stream and they hands off.
And of course they know Nigerians will never unite to ask questions, cos some folks will take it upon themselves to blindly defend the craziness FOC. Read that slowly. Go argue about the word intend till infinity with Edun. Simple logical deductions from prices of diesel which has also been deregulated should make it clear to anyone with some intelligence what is what. They are not recovering full costs cos it is just common sense which is clearly uncommon, and they will plug the hole somehow, and you will read it in bold print font size 32 on the 7pm news sbortly, since logic isn't your forte and you really truly need everything to be spelt out slowly. So the question you have failed to answer, where is the money coming from? If nnpc is importing at a loss, where are they seeing the money they keep using to import more?
If you are importing rice, and you are selling at a loss, and you already have budgets for your other financial dealings, where is the money you are throwing around coming from? yewit37486: None of your points above changes the fact that the landing cost of PMS can never be the same as the current selling price in Nigeria considering the cost of the base product - crude. And obviously petrol cost can never be the same worldwide, because there are different factors including if it's produced locally or imported, if local even the distance to the refinery is a factor, there is FX as well (and we know what is currently going on in Nigeria with FX).
You can live in delusion all you want, but it doesn't change the facts unfortunately. There is nothing like decent landing cost, you must pay the product cost and shipping cost + others, and most importantly you are paying in DOLLARS. So if Dangote is selling 1 million litre orders today at 1100 (last I checked) from his depot, how much do you think he will sell petrol? Unless they will pay subsidy to Dangote, warm up for the new reality of paying around 1200 for petrol, WHENEVER eventually he starts selling. Simple as that. I just laugh when I still read that some people erroneously are waiting for Dangote to starts selling petrol at low prices. He sell diesel at low prices ni? Lol |

Shebi the perm wearing nigga was saying Tinubu is on the right track.... clearly on the right track to hell!
To the ignorant ones, the term richer in this instance is not about the GDP size (of which we have been relegated to 4th position with no hope of regaining number one spot in the next decade) but rather GDP per capita. To get GDP per capita, you divide the GDP by the population of a country, meaning our GDP per capita will be about $1000 or likely less as at now.
Countries are ranked by GDP per capita to show how wealthy a country is. That is the wealth per person as an average. The USA has a GDP per capita of over $75k and Luxembourg has GDP per capita of over $140k
Yet the sad part is they don't have useless runts hailing their worthless klepto political class who have stolen the bulk of the money that is meant for everybody.
So yes Ghana is richer than Nigeria now, thanks in full to Thubv and Buhari who killed and buried the naira with their thoughtless policies and the almajiris up north breeding like gutter rats! |
