The 1st Kickboxing fight was a close one. Though Pereira got the W, many believe Izzy won it. In their 2nd fight, Izzy was ahead on the scorecards until he got caught by that left hook. Before that KO, Izzy hurt Pereira so badly that the Ref gave him a standing 8 count.....but that's all in the past.

Izzy has evolved and doesn't fight that way anymore. He's disciplined and sticks to the game plan no matter what.

all very true. Izzy has more MMA experience, and yes he was dominating the second fight, but in both the first and second fights he still lost regardless. Fact also is that Pereira is very skilled too. Kickboxing skills are top notch plus he attacks just like Romero. That is the way to beat Izzy, closing the gap and not giving him any space. It is risky but is basically the only way, cos when you give Izzy space/distance he thrives in picking you apart easily. I think of Pereira as a kickboxer, who now has like Wilder level knockout power. I fear for Izzy majorly cos if he blinks in that fight, it is night night, and also the mental factor of having lost to this person twice. It tends to mess with a fighter's mind, more reason I respect Izzy for accepting this fight and deciding to face his fears.
