How do I know? Back in the day, I had babes, tons of babes. Me and my guys were getting more ass than a toilet seat, but none in my circle had ever slept with a married woman. Now we don marry, to the best of my knowledge, my gees haven't cheated on their wives yet. I haven't cheated on my wife. On the other hand, I know 3 babes that confided in me that they have stepped out on their husbands, right here in Naija o.. and the husbands don't know till this day. One of those three, didn't disclose she was married to the person she had an affair with while her husband travelled for a year course in the UK.

My family moves together, or we don't move at all! If dem dey tell you say it can be done leaving your wife/husband for months/years, I won't say impossible, but I will say there will be crack that will show someday. The 3 families I mentioned all have cracks, but they don't know, as they are covered FOR NOW. What happens when the cat gets out of the bag in 5,10,12, 20 years will now be the lesson on why separating from your family for a lengthy period of time is a bad idea. I know damn well if I don't get puss for 6weeks I'll start bouncing off walls . So if my wife wants to leave me for 6 months she knows damn well I will cheat, and with what I have seen in this life she knows I won't trust that she hasn't either. So I choose to not let us be in that position at all.

not likely, unless he is pinching pennies. There are taxes that bring it down. The more you earn, the more you pay. After taxes, you now face the expenses. Baba still went ahead and said there are many people doing it. Imagine all those kin lamba.

I live abroad too, and the problem with talk like this is that it's not the complete truth. Dude probably came to Canada with a lot of money saved from working for several years in a solid company in Nigeria, else there's no freaking way you are buying two houses in 16 months and saving 120k. How much you come dey earn? How much be your salary? How much you dey pay as tax? Even someone working in a FANNG can't save 100k in a year in the first year of working. But of course, if you come from Nigeria with a sizeable amount like 50million naria, you can easily complement it with your savings from here and buy your two houses, if the story is true. Working in a FANNG, you best bet is saving 80k CAD a year in your first year of working, and that's with the most minimal expenses too and no kids. With kids, a non-working wife, and lots of expenses, you best bet is no more than $40k in savings in a year. Let's tell the truth. But that's still better by far than what you can save working in Nigeria where anyone can shoot you on the street at any time.

True story, a friend of mine back in the day working in a good multinational pharma company, excellent salesman. His company paid more and had more benefits than where I was at the time. Did I mention he was/is an excellent sales man, so an opportunity opened in the company for a somewhat country manager 'kinda' position (not top management perse) but he would be the person handling that product portfolio for Nigeria and in due time two other west african countries. He went from being med rep to that in just a space of 4 years, cos his sales was phenomenal. Even his Regional manger at the time beef am, cos this role puts him above his RM sort of. It was an enviable role, the first few months in he had gone to about 4 countries in that MNC for specific trainings. I don't know what his pay would be but we all reckoned it would be significantly better. He moved to Lagos as we were in Akure at the time, got an apartment in Magodo and all that. Fast forward, 8mths in my guy was kicked out, and almost jailed. Why? The company kinda health insurance is the type where you claim an expense, pay, and get a refund. Even ordinary headache this guy fit claim 200k, but he got greedy. He claimed 8million naira claiming his wife underwent a serious operation. I guess while trying to verify maybe due to the cost, they found out the numbers and hospitals he claimed were all fake. Na one of our guys numbers he put for receipt and every. That one had to go into hiding. When that got out, they now beamed a searchlight on his other activities and found more skeletons. Well he couldn't get a job in the industry for about two years (I believe he was blacklisted). Eventually he left for Canada with his wife 4 years ago (the wife is from a very rich fam). They are doing fine now. He is still in sales.

Moral of the story assuming after cashing 8million successfully my guy dey ball and every, if you ask am say what is the secret, wetin he go talk, NA GOD oooo. Lol

Claim: Charles Soludo wrote that "…poverty in Anambra actually grew (from less than 25% in 2005) to about 53% under Peter Obi in 2010/2011 but fell under Willie Obiano to 14.78% in 2020. Yes, poverty more than doubled under Peter Obi and more than 50% of Ndi Anambra were in poverty under him. Go and verify"

This isn't all as he had wrote something similar in 2015 in an article titled "Buhari vs Jonathan: Beyond the Election" where he wrote that "According to the National Bureau of Statistics, poverty rose under his watch in Anambra from 20% in 2004 (lowest in Nigeria then) to 68% in 2010 (a 238% deterioration!)."

These two quotes seem similar but can also be be different as the numbers dont match but if we look closely, in the 2022 letter, he mentioned 2010/2011 which was mostly measured in 2011 and in the 2015 letter, he was specific about the year 2010.

Verification: According to a press briefing By then Statistician General of the federation and lead of the National Bureau of Statistics, Yemi Kale in a press briefing titled "Press Briefing By The Statistician-General Of The Federation/Chief Executive
Officer, National Bureau Of Statictics Dr. Yemi Kale" delivered in February 2012.

Now since the NBS does not release poverty levels per years, we can only judge with the 2010 report

Verdict: The statement by the Anambra state governor, Professor Soludo claiming that the poverty level in Anambra while Peter Obi was governor rose to 68% in 2010 and 53% in 2010/2011 can be said to be true and not an exaggeration.


Also notable is that when Peter Obi responded to Professor Soludo in 2015, he did not refute the poverty percentage.
