HeliotJ: I don't seem to understand you. You mean Aliko Dangote lives better than people abroad? Abroad that has everything a billionaire in naija can only dream of. In my opinion, a street beggar in Canada is doing Better than a billionaire with legitimate business in Nigeria. At least, a street beggar own a house and eat free food from the government. I heard government take care of people without job and give them at least $200k per month. Not like I've been there, but it's verified. I've not even see a plane before So how much do they pay their working class per month? Olodo. |

wirinet: What does wrestling have to do with running or jogging. This is a very poor example. He should have used a sprinter or marathoner as an example instead of wrestler. Wrestlers don't jog, they fight. He's in his elements. He said he'll fight dirty and that preoccupies his mind. So whether you are running or sitting you are fighting him and prelude to fight is wrestling. |

This op is saying that a beggar earn about 1.2 million dollars a year in Canada. That means that beggars earn more than top company management and directors in that country. |

The woman is having mental health issues or worse.
The man needs to quietly drive her to her parents house and drop her there. Make he informs his own parents so that they have his back.
This must be done without prior notification else the woman may finish him off. She will harm or kill him eventually, that is if he delays in taking reasonable measures to protect himself. If the op has ear let him hear. |

Amagite: The Biggest Rice Pyramids in Africa. Built with 1million Bags of Rice Paddy planted and harvested from states across the country under the Anchor Borrowers Programme ABP.
CBN is matching rice millers with RIFAN to off-take the paddy, mill and supply the Nigerian markets. They have set up machineries to prevent hoarding and ensure the milled rice are sold to Nigerians.
The paddy recovery is an ongoing effort as harvests are never concluded at the same time. Aggregated paddy for the pyramids is a fraction of the recovered paddies and the ones used at the unveiling represents about 25% of the loan amount. Assuming that we are to accept your quoted figure of 1million bags, that's 192million cups and if we'll also accept your 25% claim that'll be 768m cups and if we project modest consumption of 1cup per person per day that rice would be enough to feed Nigeria for four days. What a pitiable syncophants for citizens of a supposedly great nation. |

Manspeaks: One thing I have noticed in the comments section is that, there's a praise for the deceased for the act, and while others deride him. In all of this, though, there's one salient question: WHY WAS THE DECEASED NOT MAKING THE REFUNDS WHEN HE WAS ALIVE RECEIVING THE SALARIES?
I don't think he should have waited until death before the refunds especially that the burdens will now fall on his hapless family. There could be a real message if he had already set aside the refunds before his death. The man was sick, needed treatment which may not be available from the government, needed to train his children and shelter so he borrowed the money from the government and invested on his children, so in a way he was right to ask his children to repay the loan which he might not have been given if he had requested for it through the proper channel. |

DOTian: It's not eye service. I think it has something to do with having conscience and worrying about where you are going. When you want to be in your Lords good book... But if the man was actually sick there is no need to return the money. The employers are required to look after him and treat any ailment or relief him of his position on retirement on health ground. |

Even upon how useless our politicians have been, population of 25m for Nigeria would have seen big changes considering our natural resources Oh man. If our population had been 25 million it would have been easier for them to build human Ruga for us in three States and sambisa to make it easier for them and their families to be cruising on the national resources. Only the cost of buying two hundred million bullets is enough deterrent for anyone that thinks of finishing us. |

It would have been easier for him to achieve his goal before getting married. I have the feeling he has something to hide. A man still struggling at 35 cannot be said to be focused. CHoccolaTE: You really get the point.
I have seen a three bedroom apartment burning on my way to office and even after one hour the entire apartment was not engulfed.
How did everything in the entire NEXT shopping mall that is as big as a mini estate burn to ashes in less than two hours?
Seems fishy. Do you know that even soap and cream can burn with high intensity when subjected to high temperature. Even water subjected to high temperature begins to burn by releasing oxygen thereby increasing the rate of the fire. The major problem is that we don't follow appropriate fire safety codes in our building structures. |
