Again in the US and oral contract is a valid contract. If you say to a judge, "yes, we agreed while we were having dinner that I would pay a million dollars", that is valid in the eyes of the court. You don't need to tape anything. If you say to a court "yes, I agreed to have a baby for her and accept this amount of money" it is a binding contract. Of course there are cases where a judge might throw out such contracts, but most of the time you have to keep your word. lots of business deals are done verbally. I have personally done the same many times. Once I give you my word it is as good as gold. That is how lots of business get done in the US.
I don't know how he/she will be able to pull that off, only if they have a good defense lawyer.
By the way, most of the states have different law, CA might go for a oral contract but PA or Texas are not that lenient when it comes to providing the proof to back up your case

RomanceRe: Is Anything Wrong With Dating Online Or Via Phone? by tRoOE(f): 5:28am On Nov 19, 2008
Gamine:
hmm this mara.

Well let me say my own Experience.

We met Online on a Forum, checked out our Hi5, Facebook, etc
We chatted alot, then exchanged phone numbers
called alot, spent close to 6hours each time on the phone
He was in the UK, sha

i constantly Hounded him about when he was going to come over
It was Fun, but i never really saw it as a "Date", theres nothing like a persons presence.
i told him, when he comes, we would make it official.

So,

After about a year, He came to Nigeria
by now, i felt i knew him pretty well, he seemed well to do and all,
so i was really excited, before he came over, he had sent me a gift from the UK sha.

This was during Summer,

So he came to my house, he had talked about his folks having some really good cars . . . . .
but I saw that he came with a Taxi, and he was thinner and not as freah as i saw in his pictures

ok, my disappointment levels started to rise, he explained that hes mum had them locked in the garage or something funny like that
We went out to popular joint and he kept saying that he hadnt changed most of his Pounds into Naira
So i ended up paying for the outing, he only payed for the cabs angry

When i suggested we go to his house, he said No, that something something something, ok o, i thought.
i didnt find it funny, his whole demeanor was irritating, there was this arrogant air about him, not confidence
more like a complex issue, i didnt think he looked any how to be proud about, His Polo shirt was well worn
and the jeans, quite dirty.

i couldnt believe it was the same dude, i had LOVED online and on the phone

CHEI!!

when i got home that day, i just knew it was the end
Though we hung out a couple of times, i knew
we could never pass Friendship levels.

He is back in the UK and we still chat from time to time

BOTTOMLINE: There is nothing like Presence and physical interaction

be careful, there are so many people i wish i kept as online friends
because meeting them, just wasnt worth the stress of stepping out of my house gate

kai!

Wa nene ke da tambaya?

wa nene bai gane bahuh? cheesy

I'm joking sha, i just love stories, i know some people will carry this and run with it, hehehehe
ROTFLMFAO grin grin grin

That was quite an experience  grin grin

CrimeRe: Teenage Girl Raped, Impregnated By Runaway Teacher, Abandoned By Family by tRoOE(f): 5:16am On Nov 19, 2008
“But when I got home, my father disowned me completely, saying that his daughter who bears Blessing had long died. I cried and cried, but he chased me away.

What kind of father will disown his own child during the time she needed him the most.
the girl has been through enough already, all she needed was her family support.
where the hell is the mother sef, or she's scared her husband will throw her out of the house also like he did to their daughter.
These are not parent, they are not even fit to be called one

Why is this topic posted here undecided

rickky421:
I don't know about the rest of the world, but in the USA it is always the childless couple who initiated the whole thing who gets the baby. The reason is simple, if you start letting people change their minds we will have a thousand cases every year like this. So in the US every woman who agrees to carry a baby knows going in she can't change her mind. The courts and the law already make it clear who gets the baby. That is why you don't hear of such cases in the US.
True that but the cases does not well like you think it does

A contract is a contract and in almost every case the childless couple gets the baby. It does not matter if it was a written contract. An oral contract is equally valid.
Says who, how can you prove your case if you have no evidence to back yourself.
Oral contract does not show us there was any contract in the 1st place, only if you had it taped

FamilyRe: Who Is The Righful Owner Of This Child? by tRoOE(f): 4:29am On Nov 19, 2008

As for the 1st lady, she needs to show the court her evidence, the contract papers both ladies signed, giving their right up on the child, what kind of agreement did they have.
Even this contract paper is not enough to backup her case, she needs more than that
This is going to be one difficult case

change them to dollars/euros

you can split it up, put most in your luggage some in your handbag
@topic
Why don't you put some in your bra(hopeful you have a big boobs) and the remaining can be kept inside your bag.
Or wear a tight short that has a pocket under your clothing and you can hide your money there.
to avoid getting search,, avoid wearing any jewelries or metal things eg like belt, hair( just in case the metal detector goes off,)
