charlesemeka85: 🔊 Felix Nnaemeka Agu confirmed ok to play for Nigeria’s @NGSuperEagles
The German FF have written to confirm that the player has never represented them at any official game at the A and Junior level
Played only 2 friendly games for the U21 team in 2019. Welcome Felix! Very good news. We have a proper left back that will serve us well for years. |

This is a much better display all round from the boys compared to the last match. The Senegalese have a hard time coping with long balls. Airiehi just needs one of the balls to bounce in his path and he will be through on goal. |

Kog45: Heartland and Akwa United are relegation bound except Katsina lose against Kwara United at home,I don't see Kwara United stopping them,El Kanemi will be at home against already relegated Sunshine and Niger Tornadoes just need a draw against Kano Pillars.
Hmmm,Emma Amuneke failed to save Heartland but anything can happen, winning Akwa United will be tough cuz Akwa also need the match but Katsina United,El Kanemi and Niger Tornadoes home matches will determine their survival but very slim . Heartland dey go relegation ?? With all their tiki taka and Amuneke tactical genius ?? Wetin happen ? |

Bannedlargejr: Does osimhen has a chance of winning 2025 APOY in December?? Let’s assume he win the league and cup double in may. Sign for a big team and perform exceptionally well at the club World Cup in July and continues the same trajectory from August to December. Can he win it? Yep. If he signs for a big club and starts with a banger in the league and champions league he will definitely win it. Forget about Salah. |

TheSuperNerd: 30 mins played so far, still goalless but the Lads are stringing passes and looking confident ball-wise.
Emmanuel Chukwu (CB) is so assured in possession and strong in the tackles and duels. My problem is they are too assured on the ball… bordering on arrogance. |

Danielnino00: If the reports of us playing 3 friendlies in June is the, then I hope he will invite a large pool of players.. The question is: will he invite quality players or will the NFF use it as an avenue to market more home based players? Chelle does not need to invite his first team. He should use mostly players from the second batch of the 39 man list. |

Iheanacho needs a kick up the butt..him being dropped has obviously sent a message, he did a lot of physical training during the break. Awoniyi has lost form due to injury layoff but should be back stronger next season. |

TheSuperNerd: Nerdie's reflections
If the 3 pts are deducted as expected from SA for the mokoena fumble then believe or not we are still in with a chance despite our silly fumble yesterday.
Yesterday's result is enough to not grant us access to USCAMEX 2026 but perhaps the football gods through CAR321's findings foresaw chaos in Uyo and made provisions. The Beautiful Game became ugly yesterday for us and everyone here has a right to say "WE WONT BE AT THE 2026 WC."
Trust me, even if we qualify, I won't blame any of you for doubting right now only to be proven wrong later.
The attitude... the general attitude of most of the lads in game situations speak volumes to why most of us don't see this team making it in the end. But time will tell.
Victor Osimhen..... Top lad. The best Number 9 we have had since Yekini. He will not say all that is on his mind but deep down, I know he is absolutely pissed at everyone who was on the pitch when we conceded that cheap goal. From Ekong to Ndidi to Osayi to Boniface, everyone! He blames them and he is bloody right to do so because COME ON!! HE DID HIS PART. HE SHOWED UP. HE ALMOST ALWAYS SHOWS UP IN THE GWG. Reason why he is on 26 goals now in 40 caps.
This guy will kill himself, pick up injuries while on duty and still come back banging. Habamana!
I hope the others get the message and rally round for one last chance to salvage this WC ticket dream.
We are down but perhaps not just out yet.
Remember Pre-Afcon 2023... how I and most of you doubted the peseiro led team just before Afcon 2023 held early last year. ONLY TRUIDSTARR and a few others believed pre-tournament that we could go all the way.
I didn't believe but I showed up to support in the first game. It was after the first game, and the second vs CIV that I joined fully the belief wagon because I saw something. We went all the way but lost the final.
Nigeria... an enigmatic football nation. Stars everywhere but make minnows look like giants. Then when you absolutely rule them out, they come stunning you, slapping you back to reality and reminding you of why THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THE SUPER EAGLES.
BASED ON YESTERDAY, we don't deserve to be at the 2026 WC but if SA loses 3 pts... then whether we feel it or not, the truth is we have been offered another chance at redemption.
How this story ends is up to the rest of the team. Osimhen's mental profile is clear for everyone to see. He will always show up. It is the rest we should be worried about. It is the rest that truly determine if the story ends well or not.
As always... TIME WILL TELL IT ALL.
Make everybody drink water and chill... it's not eureka just yet. Great write up. Like you said time will tell. The forever optimist in me still believes. Hope Eric Chelle had learned from his errors. Wishing us all the best. |

Against Zimbabwe, we should watch out for their most dangerous player Munetsi of Wolves, he loves to make runs through the middle and very difficult to stop. Aina or Onyemachi should watch for zemura of Udinese very direct and dangerous from the right wing. We should pray the Zambian Goal keepers village people followed him to Nigeria, he makes so many comical errors. |

Sugarboyy: Make he try even Bruno for the Wing if need be because Chukwueze is -1 Una go just dey criticize player. Chukwueze played to instructions yesterday. He was more effective off the ball than on the ball. He was drifting from his wing to help out in the middle, his dribbling was limited yesterday so as not lose the ball and put Osayi Samuel under pressure. |
