The fact that Eric Chelle is bringing a set piece coach is what makes me happy. We waste a lot of opportunities from corner kicks and set plays: |

Excuse now he has knowledge of African football.

A coach had just been announced. He had not held his first press conference so we can get insights of his plans, neither has a ball been kicked in a competitive match yet he is been written off. So many women on here. |

Danielnino00: A quick google check shows that Eric Chelle is currently coaching MC Oran in Algeria.
If he is indeed appointed, then the NFF have really stooped low..
There's nothing impressive with what he did with Mali, cus anybody that follows Mali football know that they are traditionally a team with good players scattered all over France... NFF never announce una don start to complain. Coach never start work he is already written off. Make una chill Abeg. Contrary to your opinion I wan impressed with the Malian side he handled. Their bane was a poor defence and poor finishing. |

kentebemoney: Bros have you rewatch the last match against Rwanda? Pls do and notice AE's alteration of the game in the second half and the effect it had on the game. We lost that game because on some days; goat dey kill lion. AE just put a midfield combo of onyedika and Yusuf together without properly defining what their roles are. They both did well on controlling the middle and breaking up play but the killer thru pass and advancing with the ball was missing. They was no trust.. each was scared to advance. |

EEGA: We really need to start every player that has scored in the Super Eagles for the rest of the qualifiers.
Lookman pairs Osimhen in a two-man attack just like he currently does for Atalanta.
FDB plays behind the both strikers.
Iwobi and Onyedika form the base of the mid-field.
Bruno and Ola Aina at WBs.
Bassey,Ekong and Osho as CBs.
The above is a 3-4-1-2. Our prayer is to get a coach that will understand how to properly utilize and take advantage of the current form of our players. |

Kog45: Kai Ghana even have the chance of making it....take it or leave it, something need to be done to our midfield, just go and watch our Afcon matches again, you will understand me Wella baba....yes we made it to the final but our midfield damn too average and this always lead to players overworking to cover spaces, reason why Osimhen,Ekong,Sanusi,Aina,Onyenka all got injured after Afcon...till date Sanusi has not fully recovered.
Peseiro killed our WC starting, imagine drew Zimbabwe and Lesotho and Findi buried it,now waiting for a coach to revive it. Relax sir, we go qualify. |

TheSuperNerd: Update on TheGoodJoe
NB: Please kindly put banters aside and take this seriously. Resist also the insensitive temptation to link this to Man City's current run of form. This is no joking matter, I plead
Now, I know a couple of monikers have been asking for weeks now about the whereabouts of TheGoodJoe. Truth is, I didn't want to share anything even though I knew all along what was happening with him and that is because I had not gotten his consent yet to share it (I have that now). He was going through a whole lot healthwise and I kept touch with him from the onset. I just didn't wanna bring something so sensitive and private without his consent to the thread.
About 2 weeks ago or so, TheGoodJoe suffered a diabetic mini-stroke that really knocked him down. It led to him entering a semi-coma which kept him bed ridden for days but now he is up and fine again and has even been discharged as recently as yesterday.
He is fine but still undergoing serious followup checks with his doctors and more.
Please, kindly channel some of your prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽to TheGoodJoe's health. Pray that this diabetic episode won't see the last of him. It is well. Amen.
In all, TheGoodJoe is sound currently. He can walk again and move around. He couldn't as at several days and weeks back. He is okay but still needs checks to ensure no relapse occurs. We thank God for his Life.
He also wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Wish him full recovery and full healing in Jesus name. Amen. |

kentebemoney: Nwakali is different and he's good fortune would favor the Super eagles midfield. If South Africa can play us with "local players" and we have a problem with one player from league one in d midst of 20 top flight player. Haba!!! Reason am na. The last match against Rwanda, Raphael and troost were responsible for the 2nd goal (dem suppose flog Raphael sef). A Nigerian league player and a Nigerian coach gave us our last nations cup. We do not have a playing personnel problem. We have a coaching problem. |
