If you are building a business because of your friends you are a dead man already. I belong to a football club with about 75members and almost 90% of my members own a car. I opened a cash business close to our training field....you won't believe it, my members will drive pass my shop and go wash their cars in another nearby car wash. I was not angry WHY? This is how it works. The organisers will identify some insecure mugus and write them a letter that they have been nominated for an award. Then they will write them to say they have to pay a fee for the ceremony etc. Only insecure people or nobodies/ people looking for fame fall for it. when you say they spent 15m on the ceremony, where do you think the money the 15m comes from? ...the money they charge the insecure awardees.

More importantly how do you know they spent 15m on the ceremony if you yourself are not part of the scam?
