There won't be widespread resumption of international commercial flights until the popular destinations for Nigerians opens up.

The US is mostly still closed for international flights, Just one example. Only few international commercial flights come in.

For those asking how people were able to fly into Nigeria during the lock-down,here's your answer . Nigeria and most countries of the world have been running periodic evacuation flights to bring back their citizens stuck outside their borders. I know for a fact that Nigeria embassy in the US has organized many periodic evacuation flights for Nigerians who visited the US and were stuck here.

A good start.. I used the Abuja one June last year, it was partly being used by BA and some foreign airlines then. Seems it's now going to be fully utilized by all airlines.. Hope they maintain standards, It was a breath of fresh air from the old shameful Abuja international terminal building..

The developed countries all got where they are by building institutions. If you do not build solid institutions, what happens is that one man will turn state apparatus to his personal use. The police, army, judiciary and everything else will be beholden to one man. That has never helped any country to grow.

Anyway, i am done doing back and forth with you. I have lived in developed countries most of my life, so we may obviously see things from different angle..

US social security system is where the government gets the money to pay retired elderly people monthly income .That money comes from payroll taxes on those of working age. Not every employee has a 401K pension plan, especially low wage workers, so the social security system bridges that gap. The basic premise is you pay into the system when you are young and working and the system will take care of you at older age.
