Twitter's stock fell as much as 12 percent on Monday after Donald Trump was permanently suspended from the platform on Friday evening. The social media company's market value decreased by $5 billion as a result of the decline.

Trump's account was suspended after continuously spreading conspiracy theories about voter fraud which influenced his supporters' attempt to storm the U.S. Capitol building.

"After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence," Twitter said.

While shares fell to 12 percent earlier on Monday, the drop settled at seven percent. With about 88 million followers, Trump's account generated a lot of publicity for Twitter with the soon-to-be-former president's controversial tweets.

Stock market experts believe investors are worried that Trump's ban will "lead to boycotts among those who see the decision as politically motivated and a way to silence a major conservative voice." It's also expected that the Biden administration will crack down on social media companies allowing misleading or outright false information to live on their platforms.

Despite the drop, Twitter shares are still up about 45 percent over the past year, which is a larger return than Facebook during the same span.

The Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, has secretly divorced his wife, Hajia Fatima Mohammed Adamu, after accusing her of having sexual relationship with one Mohammed Musa, a Superintendent of Police, Pointblanknews.com investigations have revealed.

IG Adamu also allegedly eloped with one Fatima Ahmed Daura, a daughter of a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Sani Ahmed Daura, and hid her in No 5b Granges Street, Maitama, Abuja, a house he recently purchased.

The Inspector General of Police then set up SP Musa, used Fatima Ahmed Daura to invite him to No 5Bb Granges Street, where Policemen arrested and detained him at the Maitama Police station on trump up charges.

Subsequently, SP Musa was issued a query by the IG on “Serious Misconduct.”

Several calls to Force Spokesman, DCP, Frank Mba, were not answered.

He passed on today Saturday 9th 2021 at the age of 70.
Ironically, just two days ago, the Enugu State government congratulated him for attaining the age of 70.
In a statement, the Enugu State Commissioner for Information, Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, said that the government and the people of the state are indeed very proud of the immeasurable contributions of this great son of Enugu State to the development of the game of football both locally and internationally.
The Information Commissioner pointed out that, Christian Chukwu also had an outstanding career as coach of various National teams, including Nigeria, Kenya and Lebanon adding that “his performance at various times as player, coach and manager of Enugu Rangers International FC is indeed unparalleled.
Christian Chukwu’s state of health was made public in April of 2020 and with his inability to continue with his medical bills, prompted the Nigeria’s Football players union, called out to national federation to assist the former Enugu Rangers as he seemed to have been abandoned.
A GoFundMe campaign to raise $US50 000 to fly the former Enugu Rangers to the United States for treatment began in earnest.
But wealthy businessman, Femi Otedola, stepped in and offered to offset his medical bills.
Otedola donated $50,000 to help with Christian Chukwu’s treatment. Otedola’s kind gesture made it possible for Chukwu to travel to the United Kingdom to seek professional medical health.
On his arrival, he visited the business mogul to thank him his support with his medical expenses, a gesture that humbled Otedola.
Christian Chukwu captained Enugu Rangers to victory in the African Cup Winners’ Cup in 1977 and then skippered the Super Eagles to their first Africa Cup of Nations title, at home in Nigeria in 1980.
As a coach, he was on the staff as Nigeria won their first world title, the Under 17 World Cup, and then was an assistant to Clemens Westerhof as the Super Eagles claimed their second Afcon title in 1994.
He would later be made a national coach, but his tenure got marred by criticism of tactics and selections. This however did not detract from his legendary status.

I would not expect you not to only see the current state of my country. You probably do not know how far we have come in our short history so do not know what progress we have made which makes me wonder if you are from one of those countries that do not teach history.

If you did know history you'd know we used to be so poor we sold our own people but do that no more because we are more intelligent now and wiser and richer. That's not to say we do not have a long way to go, just that we have come far in so short a while is my point. I however understand your pessimism in my abilities, but you are going to forgive me for my optimism. It's my country, see, and what it is and becomes depends on me and my efforts in improving myself, and my country, since they are intrinsically the same thing, and that I daily do.

Of course you might be one of the destroyers who just want my country split into tiny competing parts that can be much easier exploited, but I see such people as just another obstacle I need to work harder to surmount so better things are said about my country Nigeria, if not now, at least when I grow up. I am certain you would be optimistic too if you were Nigerian, especially if you were the responsible energetic sort who believes a country is made by the efforts of its citizens.
