Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has hailed the suspension of Ruga settlements plan by the Federal Government as victory for all peace- loving Nigerians.

The Governor, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary Terver Akase, stated the rejection of the Ruga settlement model was not personal but rather a struggle by Nigerians against impunity and injustice.

Ortom commended President Muhammadu Buhari for heeding to the call of Nigerians.

He said the decision to suspend the proposal shows that Buhari has heard the voices of majority of Nigerians on the matter.

I am not in support of RUGA but it has it's advantage. When the herdsmen attack, they disappear into the forest and carrying out reprisal attack is usually difficult. But with RUGA settlement, they can easily be targeted for reprisal attack.

Another woman just came up with a rape allegation against T B Joshua. Why is it not getting the same attention. At least, she has the details documented in a published book. Something is not just right here.

One thing I've noticed so far: Those who are truly open minded about the whole issue, those who do not want to support either party until they get the full story, have decided to remain quiet either for fear of media backlash and possible accusations of their own, or simply because they do not want to get involved.

Just my thought. It's a biased decision for a Pastor of his status. When you here that kind of news, it is safer to start from the view point that it can't be true until evidences proves otherwise. You don't judge a case just by hearing only one party involved.

I really smell something wrong here. Maybe he wants to leave and cause some damages before he lives. But why would he do that is another question. Samuel Chukwueze should play on the right flag from the start. Ahmed Musa should play on the left flag. Osimhen and Ighalo should play at the middle of the attacking formation. Like 3-4-4 system. Or 4-3-4.

The yahoo girl who bagged an 8-months jail sentence, pleaded guilty to the one count charge of obtaining by false pretence contrary to Section 15(2)(a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2002 as amended and punishable under 15(3) of the same Act.  The statement by EFCC reads in part;

"The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office today, June 28, 2019 secured the conviction of Isaac Christiana Nkemdirim before Justice M.G. Umar of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State. Nkemdirim was convicted on a one count charge of obtaining by false pretence contrary to Section 15(2)(a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2002 as amended and punishable under 15(3) of the same Act.

Upon her arraignment, Nkemdirim pleaded guilty to the charge. Based on her plea, the prosecution counsel, Fredrick O. Dibang prayed the court to convict and sentence the defendant accordingly. However, the defence counsel prayed the court to temper justice with mercy as his client was a first time offender and a youth who has promise never to go back to the crime. Justice M.G. Umar thereafter convicted and sentenced the defendant to eight ( months imprisonment without an option of fine.)"

I really want to see more of that wonder kid - Samuel Chukwueze. Samuel Kalu is also good. They should place them in good position. Samuel Chukwueze does bet on the right even though he is better with his left foot. He should however know when to dribble and when to pass the ball.

Making a video on allegation on rape is not enough to send anyone to jail. It has to be proven beyond reasonable doubt.

If there is no witness to substantiate her claim, such as a third party eye witness, audio or video recording or any item belonging to him she held back, the allegation is null and void. And she will be charged for character defamation. Before you come out to make allegations, have enough evidence otherwise it will turn against you like it did to Kemi Oluloyo.

Busola Dakola story doesn't add up. You heard a knock and you came down on your night gown with your undies transparent. Which decent girl would do that? And you waited for several years to report such incident. There is something more than this. And the man who interviewed her did it inside a church just to pull down another man of God.
