Janosky: Where & when did God torture the first human sinners, Adam & Eve,after their death? You don't expect to have information about the eternal destiny of everyone in the Bible. Besides, he already judged them by driving them away from the Garden of Eden. But where they will end up eventually is God that will determine it. He does not have to preempt his decisions on every single person that lived on earth. |

Most of the times, the things of God are foolishness to the natural mind. Just accept the information given to you that is clearly stated in the Bible. If God said hell itself will be thrown into the Lake of fire, then accept it instead doting about questions that are irrelevant. |

TATIME: Are you sure that his death didn't end our sins? Because it was immediately when he gave up that tombs were thrown out and Matthew said he saw the dead comes to life! Matthew 27:51,52 It was after his resurrection and ascension to heaven that they gained the power of God's holy spirit to start preaching and teaching! Matthew 27:53, Act 2:1-47
But it's immediately when he gave up that the dead were released! Matthew 27:52-53 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves AFTER HIS RESURRECTION, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. In narrating story, sometimes the writer takes you to the end first and now bring you back to get the details of what really happened. Verse 52 says they came of the grave after his resurrection. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Daddy Freeze To MFM: Praying For Your Enemies To Die Is Anti-christ Doctrine by TruthinAction: 10:36pm On Jul 22, 2019 |
There is simply no justified reason to kill a perceived enemy through prayers. The teachings of our Lord Jesus and his Apostles did not permit that. Rather it says we should love our enemies and do good to them.
There was an occasion, two disciples of Jesus sought permission to cause fire from heaven to destroy their enemies. But Jesus rebuked them - John -Luke 9:54-56. Even Apostle said if your enemy is hungry, feed him. Vengeance is the exclusive right of God. You have no moral right to take someone's life for whom Jesus died for.
To claim that the prayer is directed to spirit makes it more absurd. Spirits don't die. You can only cast them, bind their works and resist them.
Why then did David kill Goliath? It was permissible under the old Testament. But now, Jesus has laid a new foundation for the Church. |

robosky02: The call for the sack of Rohr has gotten to the climax with top ex internationals calling for his sack
Former Nigeria goalkeeper, Peterside Idah, has called on the (NFF), to xack, Gernot Rohr, immediately.
Speaking in an interview on Channels TV Idah suggested that Rohr seems to be learning on the national team job, insisting the German lacks the capacity to take the Eagles to greater heights.
“For the Eagles to soar to greater heights, the coach should be sacked, let him go. Rohr was not prepared for this job. You don’t learn in the national team, you must come prepared to do the job.
“The coach kept chopping and changing the team which is a clear sign of weakness because the team lacks players that can fit into particular positions in the team.
“Feelings come to play in this. I think Rohr feels he has done well enough by taking us to the World Cup, qualifying for the Nations Cup and needs new challenge. I would be surprised if they (NFF) keeps him on the job,” Idah said. He should go joor. He does not have a winning mentality. A couch celebrating third place position. |

TATIME: For what purpose exactly did Jesus (born without sin) have to die? Is his death not enough to redeem humans?
Before Jesus died after all the persecution he said "it is finished" John 19:30 Now you're saying after his death, he went to hell (to be tormented for our sins AGAIN) after saying "it is finished" so what exactly did Jesus meant by saying "it is finished" if it hasn't finish as you're now saying? It is finished means there is no more sacrifice for sins. He has fulfilled the demand of justice. He will not come back to make atonement for sins. But because our sins were laid on him, he has to end up where we were supposed to go to - hell. On the third day, he was released by the power of God having met the demand of justice. His captors now became his captive and he collected the keys of hell and death from Satan. |

Tongue is a flesh, I thought spirit don't have flesh ?
Correct me, Is the water not physical water ? Your soul has every single part the body has. That is why even in your dream when you are sleeping, you still act as though you are complete with every part of your being. In your dream you can still eat but your body is resting. The spirit world is real. Life after death goes on with every activity of your senses still intact. The only difference is that you can not make contact with the physical world. And you are controlled by strange powers to guide you to your destination. |

But the pattern changed in the case of Lazarus , DIED AND CARRIED BY ANGELS . His physical body got carried. it was what died that was carried by angels
Please so a soul has fingers to touch water ? Because Lazarus did.
You are putting yourself in more soup, the text never said Lazarus was buried, His corpse was carried by angels There is no hope for you if this is how you interpret Scripture. I give up on you. Your senses will come back to you when you see yourself in the very hell you don't believe exist. |

TATIME: Please according to the Bible Jesus also died, buried and was in the tomb for three consecutive days. *Where did those angels keep his soul? *Some people argued that Jesus went and preached to the souls in hell, please is this true? *If it's true that Jesus actually went down to preach to souls in hell, definitely his soul must be there as well. So what happens then? Did the angels return all those souls to hell? Will those souls be taken back to where they were kept before Jesus went to hell? Where are those souls presently? Is Abraham also part of those souls or his own soul got automatic ticket to the place where souls are kept? How wide is Abraham's bosom? Can it accommodate all the souls of all righteous people that ever lived? All these questions have been answered by the JWs in their teachings, so let's keep the teachings of JWs aside for a moment and hear your own to compare and contrast! Jesus went to hell and suffered torture temporary by demons for three days on account of our sins. But on the third day, he was released by his captors who he later held captive and collected the keys to hell and death from Satan. Before he rose, he went to proclaim deliverance to the saints in Abraham's bosom. This is the preaching he did. They are now free and qualified to go to heaven. So, when Jesus rose, their graves were opened and all the saints in Abraham's bosom came out. They ascended to heaven together with Jesus. |

Janosky: **Eccl9:10 New Living Translation "Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom." Psalm 104:29 "When You hide Your face, they panic; when You take away their breath, they die and return to dust."
** God says the dead return to the dust ,and Adam the first man to pay for his sins, returned to the dust (grave, Gen3:19), how come you're claiming that Lazarus and the rich man went to different places "underneath the earth"? (So, grave dey get luxury suite (Abraham bosom) and economy room (rich man's hell) underneath the earth?) Oturugbeke !!!!
**Acts24:15, New Living Translation " I have the same hope in God that these men have, that he will raise both the righteous and the unrighteous."
My questions... 1) Since rich man is suffering torture in hell, God will raise the unrighteous to where? **2) Why would God raise the unrighteous whom he kept in a place of torture? The body returns to dust but the lost souls go to hell. The spirit of those saved go to heaven. Both the righteous and the unrighteous will be raised for final judgment. Hell is like a cell awaiting final judgment. After the final judgment, they will be thrown into the Lake of fire which is worse than hell. Hell itself will be thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-15 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. |

Jozzy4: The question you should have asked before making up stories is: While the rich man was said to be buried , What happened to Lazarus Body ... Buried or carried off by angels ? Of course, he was buried. You don't expect to get details on every single thing that must have transpired. It's like asking, did people also cried when he died. There are basic knowledge of what everyone should know. The narrator assumes that we all know he was buried but his soul was carried by Angels into Abraham's bosom. |

Janosky: ****King James Bible Luke16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; ** There are burning questions begging for answers.... Luke16:23 ,24 In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham from afar, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he cried out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. For I am in agony in this fire.’ ** Take note of this statement in v23 The rich man "looked up and saw from afar, Lazarus in Abraham's bosom..." you said that rich man and Lazarus were in the same location , you said "was underneath the earth" **1 v23,24, where is Abraham ,in hell or heaven?
*2) The angels carried Lazarus "into Abraham's bosom", where is Abraham's bosom, in heaven or hell? Abraham bosom was underneath the earth and separated by a deep gulf from hell. shams040: A total of 215 students of the Covenant University, Ota in Ogun State were conferred with First Class degrees at its 2018/2019 convocation on Friday.
The Vice-Chancellor, Aaron Atayero, a professor, performed the ceremony during the instititution’s 14th Convocation and the Conferment of Honourary Doctorate Degrees, and Presentation of Prizes.
The event took place within the institution’s campus in Ota.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 1,580 students graduated for the academic session.
They comprised: 215 first class honours, 668 second class upper honours, 415 second class lower, nine in third class and 239 post-graduates.
Ajia Motunrayo, a student in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, College of Engineering, emerged the best student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0.
NAN reports that this was the first time that the institution would be attaining such a feat, the closest being the 2016 convocation where Master Winner Deji-Folutile from Department of Architecture had 4.97.
Mr Atayero, in his address, noted that education is a powerful weapon which can be used to change the world and achieve sustainable economic growth, especially, on the African continent.
“The institution is committed to supporting and encouraging research and development works aimed at providing innovative solutions to societal problems and enhancing the quality of life as enunciated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda,” he said.
The V-C said Covenant University had continued to provide quality education by providing lifelong learning opportunities through granting public access to resources of the institution’s Centre for Learning.

Or better still, one extra year where graduates from different universities can come together to sit for the same examination. Was Hagar in the depth of the earth, ? This is the problem with Jehovah witnesses. They ascribe a meaning to a word and insist that that is what it means in all context. Maybe you need to go back to school and study English. I mean a good school. Words in English can mean different things depending on the context it is used. In one context, it could be a noun. In another, it could be a verb. So, you need to understand the context under which a word is used and the part of speech to know its meaning. Please check your dictionary for confirmation. For the word bosom, look at the different context on online dictionary explains its meaning. bosom (plural bosoms) 1.(anatomy) The breast or chest of a human (or sometimes of another animal). [from 11thc.] ▼ show 2.The seat of one's inner thoughts, feelings etc.; one's secret feelings; desire. [from 13thc.] ▼ show 3. The protected interior or inner part of something; the area enclosed as by an embrace. [from 15thc.] ▼ show 4. The part of a dress etc. covering the chest; a neckline. ▼ show 5. (in the plural) A woman's breasts. [from 20thc.] ▼ show 6. Any thing or place resembling the breast; a supporting surface; an inner recess; the interior. 7.A depression round the eye of a millstone. I hope you have learnt an English lesson today. When you go to your study, teach your teacher what you just learned. It might help to address many other false teachings that have been established by this mistake of ascribing one meaning to a word that has multiple usages. |
