A political group has urged Nigerians to ignore the fake news that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has resigned from his position.

The Initiative to Save Democracy (ISD) described the unscrupulous rumour as the desperation of the Peoples Democratic Party to stir unnecessary controversy in the South West of Nigeria.

President of ISD, Sunday James Akinloye, urged Nigerians especially Yorubas to shun all fake news emanating from the PDP. “This is completely laughable. How can some people concoct a story that is entirely false, sending thousands of Nigerians into frenzy over nothing?

“This shows that the PDP is desperate and they will stop at nothing to lay their hands on Nigeria’s treasury but their plans will not work, in fact, it is dead on arrival.

Akinloye stressed that Nigerians must be wary of any story from PDP because they are the masters of fake news. “They claimed in 2015 that President Muhammadu Buhari was going to Islamize Nigeria once he is voted in but we found that that is a lie.

“They claimed he was Jubril from Sudan and they even claimed that he could not stand or campaign for himself but the man has proven them wrong over and over again.

“The PDP is a destructive party and nothing good can come out of them. The foundation of PDP is faulty and the only thing they know is propaganda and lies even to the detriment of the lives of many Nigerians.

Akinloye urged Nigerians to ensure that the PDP is permanently shut out from Nigeria’s treasury for the progress and good of the country.

“They have said it, they want to enrich themselves and their friends, and they do not care about the common man on the street.

“They say they want to come and share the money, we must not allow that to happen. We must be steadfast in the slow and steady path we have embarked upon.

Quoting the Bible, Akinloye said Nigerians must understand that what we sow, is what we will reap. “If we sow Atiku and his corruption, then we will reap hardship from this evil seed. We must be careful what we wish for.

He urged Nigerians to disregard the UK, US and EU, stressing that they are only after their selfish interests. “Before President Buhari came on board all our looted monies were stashed in banks in the UK, US and EU.

“Since President Buhari was elected not only have we stopped laundering our monies to these countries, we are demanding that they return the money with them.

“They are not happy that Nigeria is on the path to prosperity, they want us to perpetually be under them asking for grants and loans.

He urged all Nigerians to vote overwhelming for the APC because that is the only party that can assure us of progress. “Our forefathers say that a good name is better than silver and gold. We must always remember this, always,” he said.

The only way to bring accountability and transparency to NNPC is by Pubic-Private partnership.

I am not an economist but I think what you are saying makes sense. It should be public - private partnership. If you completely live it in the hands of government, corruption will continue and if it's completely in the hands of private sector, they will not remit the required tax. So private - public partnership is the way to go.

Nairalanders, please speak out. We do not want a new government that we will later regret because of poor decisions.

They should study every step of how the products are produced, sold and distributed. They should also unveil the corrupt practices that is sabotaging it's effort to deliver. I think NNPC can be fixed. If it is done, I know Nigeria will recover fast from recession. As it stands, individuals running the organization appears to be making more money than the nation. There has been several corrupt charges on top managers of the institution but none has been prosecuted. Any attempt to prosecute them fails because they have the money to fight...

I think it's time for Nigeria to speak out concerning any sensitive issue that affects us as a nation. The time where we just keep quiet and wait for another four years to decide who is next is gone. I know we have those who are supposed to be representing us but they actually represent their stomach. What I suggest Atiku should do instead is to set up a committee to investigate the activities of NNPC and tell us why it is not able to deliver as expected and make objective recommendations.

I am personally not in support because it seems to me that it's a coup plot by the north to marginalize the south and be in control of the wealth of Nigeria for life. And once you are in control of the wealth, you can rule the nation for life and treat others like slaves.

He said he is not the one buying it. That is what they always say but at the end of the day, they buy it through the backdoor.

We are know or expect Atiku to win in this election if it held free and fair. But I think we have to start discussing issues that is likely to affect all of us early enough before it will take us unaware. The way Atiku is talking about talking about the sale of NNPC gives one the impression that it is likely one of the things he wants to do first.

He may have a good intention but it might turn out to be the worst decision any government will ever make. Pls, argue for or against it.

Prince Tony Momoh, a former Minister of Information on Wednesday said President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive to security agencies to deal ruthlessly with ballot box snatchers ahead of the 2019 general election is in order.

Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent, Momoh, one of the national leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said Nigerians do not expect the President to give national honours to those who committed crime by declaring war on due process and free, fair elections.

He said “What is snatching of ballot box? Snatching a box is a crime. It is declaration of war on due process and free, fair election. Anyone who declares war on due process is committing treason against due process.

“Those condemning Buhari, are they suggesting that anybody who snatches a box on Election Day should be given a national honour?

My point is why only on election issue is giving this kind of order. When he has never said anything about the herdsmen killing people. He is just interested in remaining in power and not for your interest. Give him the opportunity to come back, I bet that the herdsmen will move to a new level in their atrocities. Casualty figures will enter hundreds of thousands if not millions. And he will still not be moved as long as they are Christians.

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Adams Oshiomhole, have been accused of hijacking the INEC Adhoc list in Auchi, following an outburst yesterday, in Edo State.

This is coming after Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of being in total control of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

According to a twitter user who shared a video of the outburst, he wrote;

I really wonder why Nigerians can't question their leaders? Mr President has given orders to hack ballot box snatchers to death. What order has he ever given to the herdsmen that are killing people on a daily basis? I don't support the snatching of ballot boxes. I also don't buy into the the decision by Mr President to give such order when he careless about people dying daily. How did we get here? Why would people still pledge allegiance to someone who has no value for human lives?

The results are already written. That is why they postponed the election. They allowed the materials to arrive first. So, this gives them enough time to make use of the result sheets and make out figures. No election in the past has witnessed 100% participations. If we get a result sheet that points to 100% participantion, then we will know it is just written. May God help us.

The 21 billion missing is the money that is supposed to be remitted to the revenue by NNPC is still unaccounted for. He knows where the money went to. This is stealing.

EFCC is said to have recovered looted money. Where are the looted money? They are unaccounted for. In addition he is still borrowing. Is this not stealing.

Abacha looted fun which is over 300 million dollars is being shared to poor people 5,000 monthly. Why not share the money once in bulk so that the beneficiaries can utilize it to upgrade the life. This is indirect stealing.

Where do they get money to share to induce voters to vote in election? Is sharing of money part of the budget? They are equally sharing money.

The truth is that every politician steals. But remember to make life comfortable for those you are leading also. Invest in projects that has direct bearing on the life of the people.

If Buhari is not stealing, why are we ranked the fifth poorest country in the world. He has made us poorer. And he has no project he initiated himself. Pls shine your eyes and know what is going on.

Speaking in tongues help you to pray according to the will of God - Romans 8:26.

Speaking in tongues edifies you or keeps you on a high charge. You don't need to smoke weed to be high when you can speak in tongues.

Speaking in tongues helps you to pray for the unknown. There are things you don't know that is about to happen but the Holy Spirit knows. You just receive the signal in your spirit that something wrong is about to happen. That is the best time to speak in tongues. The moment you do that, the danger is averted. This is why a tongue speaking believer can't die before his time. You can fall victim of assassins or kidnappers. There is an inner power at work in you.

Speaking in tongues takes you to the place of visions and revelations. You see things that are yet to happen as God reveals them to you.

Speaking in tongues makes your spirit more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Speaking in tongues helps you to stay in divine health.

Speaking in tongues builds a wall of protection round you and makes it difficult for evil men to hurt you.

There are many more benefits. The devil does not want people to know about this. So, he uses ignorant people to condemn it and discourage many from receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

I don't expect you to easily believe all I have said but my prayer is that you and everyone reading will experience it one day and tell your testimony. It makes your life supernatural.
