Donmedra:
Nobody thought Oshiohmole could win Edo 2007 governorship at the court after PDP was declared winner, it took some time before oshiomole finally won.

If Atiku presses hard enough with overwhelming evidence in the court of law, how likely will the result be in his favour?
He will win. The evidences are overwhelming.

We actually need more people like him. He spoke the truth. And I believe it will be overturned in favour of Atiku no matter who the chief Judge is. The international observers must speak out. They knew what happened.
Politics › Re: Atiku Rejects Outcome Of Presidential Election, Heads To Court by TruthinAction: 11:26am On Feb 27, 2019
akinhanger:
Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted to the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the February 23 presidential election.

The aggrieved former Vice President says the election was not free and fair.

He says there “were manifest and premeditated” malpractices in many states which negate the results announced.

Atiku said he will seek justice the democratic way by heading to court.

Below is his full statement.

“Democracy Will Not Be Emasculated in Nigeria

I thank the Nigerian people who trooped out in their millions to perform their civic duty this past Saturday. The patriotism of Nigerians is heartwarming and affirms my oft-repeated statement that we are brothers and sisters born from the womb of one mother Nigeria.

With regards to the Presidential elections that took place on February 23, 2019, it is clear that there were manifest and premeditated malpractices in many states which negate the results announced.

Another glaring anomaly is the disruption of voting in strongholds of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos, Akwa-Ibom, Rivers and diverse other states, with the authorities doing little or nothing and in some cases facilitating these unfortunate situations. (See attached links to documentary evidences).

The militarization of the electoral process is a disservice to our democracy and a throwback to the jackboot era of military dictatorship. In some areas of the country, such as, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Imo states, troops deployed for the elections turned their guns on the very citizens they were meant to protect. This is condemnable and should not be associated with our electoral process in the future.

I am a democrat and there are democratic avenues available to present the truth to the nation and the watching world. Already, many international observers have given their verdicts, which corroborate our observations. I am sure more will come in the coming hours and days.

If I had lost in a free and fair election, I would have called the victor within seconds of my being aware of his victory to offer not just my congratulations, but my services to help unite Nigeria by being a bridge between the North and the South.

However, in my democratic struggles for the past three decades, I have never seen our democracy so debased as it was on Saturday, February 23, 2019. 2007 was a challenge, but President Yar’Adua was remorseful. In 2019, it is sad to see those who trampled on democracy thumping their noses down on the Nigerian people.

Consequently, I hereby reject the result of the February 23, 2019 sham election and will be challenging it in court.

I want to assure my supporters and the entire Nigerian people that together, we will not allow democracy to be emasculated.

Signed:
Waziri Atiku Abubakar
27th February 2019

ihatesycophant:
Millions of voters are not online to vote. Only the educated and the semi-educated are on net while the junks are offline. In Nigeria sometime online poll doesn't work.
You are wrong. At least the educated ones are even a better representation of the people's wish. That is why we don't have dumb people representing us in the Senate. To be educated means to be well informed. If the well informed people have spoken, you don't listen to the brainwashed illiterates.

That nonsense go end for ever
ATIKU Is Nigeria choice. It is stolen mandate. The consistency in the results of online polls speaks volumes. Random sampling has always been used to make judgment on the whole. It is the same Nigerians that are online. The disparities is just too much to justify the result. This is over rigging.

shollyDHooD:
PDP won in Abuja because they know they are not getting the embezzled money they were getting during Goodluck's term.
For Buhari term" no more monkey de work Baboo they chop"
All lies. Atiku was the preferred candidate. Nigerians are tired of the lifeless one. The election results will be contested. The evidences are overwhelming.

1. The fact that they suspended the announcement of results for more 24 hrs speaks volumes.

2. Because the manipulation was urgent, there were so many discrepancies in the the total number of votes compared with the number accredited. Note that those who collated the figures are professors. There should not be any form of errors in figures. It shows something was wrong which could only be alterations done in a hurry.

3.The card reader will be audited. In most states in the north, they voted without the card readers but in the south, thousands were not permitted to vote because the card readers malfunctioned.

4. There are also videos to show mass thumb printing in many polling units.

5. Election results were announced in areas election never took place.

6. In some cases, already thumb printed ballot papers were brought to the polling units. Ballot boxes were even seen in some homes.

These and many more irregularities will be the bases of litigation which cannot be swept under the floor.

The celebration won't last. The announced results were doctored in 20 states. Just wait until seasons two unfolds.

[quote author= post=76173720]This victory is for all the patriots and lovers of Sai Baba on Nairaland.
God bless everyone that voted and supported Our Daddy from Day one and also those that joined us along the way.
Now that our prayers have been answered, let us be magnanimous in victory....

Take this from Festus Keyamo :
As we celebrate, I urge that we don’t do so wildly as to put us or others in harm’s way. I also urge all our supporters to be magnanimous in victory and not to taunt those who lost. Those who fought us with ideas are not our enemies. They are just patriots with different ideas and upbringing.

Victory is enough reward for our efforts
Moving on to a better Nigeria along with our President is all that matters now.
God bless you all.
God bless Nigeria

Are u saying the result that was posted even b4 collation started is correct or what do u mean? same result was posted on facebook
One is doctored cause there are very close similarities. The way INEC suspended the announcement for more than 12 hrs speaks volume. It is not done anywhere. Just take a look at both results. They just subtracted from PDP actual vote and added to that of APC to keep the total number the same.

INEC already makes people suspicious of compromising when they suspended the announcement. They needed time to alter the figures. It's up to PDP to contest the election with infallible evidences.

We told them that Atiku is no match to Buhari, but they won't listen.

Now they have pushed him to journey of no return, the funny thing is how one Emeka was busy doing permutation on how Atiku will divide the northern votes, secure Middle belts ( not knowing that north is middle belt, and middle belt is north).

How he will will get more than 40℅ votes in SW, which he did, and finally get 100% votes in SE and SS.
Manipulated results. The truth will come out soon.
Politics › Re: INEC Set To Declare Buhari President-elect, With Over 15m Votes by TruthinAction: 2:46am On Feb 27, 2019
The other result sheet trending online now from which INEC is believed to have doctored theirs look more realistic. It's evil to steal someone's mandate. Judging by this, Atiku is supposed to be the winner. If PDP can prove this to be the original result sheet, Buhari's victory will be short-lived.

I just pity atiku ,cos those pushing him to court may not contribute any dyme, apc just want them to loose more to nigeria since they cant arrest nor prosecute him with evidence,bt he has the money .
Take a look at both results. One was doctored from the other. Figures they added to APC was subtracted from PDP. And it was trending before the INEC completed the announcement of their results. Atiku won. They just want to deny him but it won't work.

Guy forget that shyt, both parties rigged in thier strong hold, Atiku just overestimated his popularity in the North, He did not expect PMB to completely floor him, let just sleeping dogs lie, Even in a completely unrigged election PMB will totally decimate atiku in the North east
APC was in charge of the final collation. They used security personnel to scare away PDP agents. They even arrested and also kidnapped key PDP agents. What they did was to ensure that their margins were close to that of the PDP in areas they expected PDP to win. Then they gave wide margins in areas they expected APC to win. In Riverstate, Amaechi was there to alter the figures. They sent other agents to other states.
