TonyeBarcanista:Pls recall my response to you in October 2015 for ease of reference: TonyeBarcanista:SOLA is actually a very nice and down to earth guy. But I told him last year to forget about PDP. He will be lucky to pass screening. Unless you have some academic or short term engagement with PDP, Tonye, don't place your hope on it for anything sustainable! The leaders WILL NEVER EVER LEARN to treat people like you and Sola with sincerity. Hence, it is a HOPELESS PARTY. Should the APC ever fail to the point where PDP as constituted will become desirable, then democracy is not our calling. Ask yourself what is PDP doing at this moment to earn the respect of independents? Literally wailing and railing. Any policy alternative? NO! any internal audit and implementation ? No! You said you were in Abuja. Pls go to Wadata House. ask them about PDI. It is the party's institute. ask them about them. Who or what, AS OF CERTAINTY, governs their decision making process? the institute that should ground the party in strategy and research has no more life than the inanimate building in which it is housed. As for certainty, since the days of GEJ. PDP had become a franchise in each state under each of the governors. These govs place their interests above that of the party. by party, I do not mean NWC or NEC but the party Constitution. I have read your posts and I am willing to give you credit for being far more intelligent than your assertion. If you imagined that PDP hawks will respect your ideas just wait until it is time to fund it. You will be shocked to discover that the fund sharing is more important to the hawks than what you think you can achieve with PDP. Will PDP change. NO, IT CANNOT. Do I like it that way? No! Unfortunately, that is the reality of the PDP "laissez faire!" |
isn't it rather sad that PDP sees itself as a check on the FG whilst the rest of the country sees it as a skeleton of the worst political vermin ever known to mankind. |

Eshinwaju:My brother, we know their lot. from Rwanda to Syria. The strategy of those who turn their own people to a wreckingball is always to avoid answering questions that exposes their perfidy. Imagine, not a word about their failure to get home support from their leaders. the sheep amongst them will continue to bleat "four legs good, two legs bad" until they are handed £20 as compensation! Mtchew!!!! |

We have seen reports of 3 backbenchers in Uk parliament sponsoring a motion to consider the agitation of IPOB through a memorandum. That is a civilized step and better than the treasonable posture adopted by Nnamdi Kanu. However it is shocking that the elected leaders from Eastern Nigeria where IPOB draws its support from have never deemed the Biafra struggle worthy of approval in any of the over 50 legislative bodies at local government levels. Does this mean there is a silent but strong opposition to Biafra even in the east? Does it mean that unlike every group all over the world agitating for separation IPOB lacks official indigenous approval? Why is it convenient for IPOB to blame the rest of the country for not singing along with them when there own leaders are struggling to keep their seats in Nigerian parliament? Why is it convenient for IPOB to blame the rest of the country for not singing along with them when they, IPOB vanguards, have failed, refused and neglected to secure a local government or ward level backing in their area of interest? Why is it convenient for IPOB vanguards to create another state of crisis in the East as if life is so cheap for them to toss around like a wrecking ball? Who again will be the hardest hit and who again will be a hero in a needless crisis that brings nothing but misery? Can we beg this agitators to have mercy on their own people, for Nigeria state will defend its territorial integrity under all circumstances! |
wail all you like. we have decided! cry from hear to Pluto. you will never near aso rock again |
It appears Wailers and are still in pain over their miserable loss at the polls a year ago. They are wailing about every act or omission of the President, his family and and appointees. What should we do? #bringBackCorruption. God forbid. #WeHaveDecided. No going back to Egypt. the human errors of today are better than blood monies a la arms gate and such calculated sacrifice of civilians for political gain. Like GEJ said: "we don't give a damn" Are we supposed to reward Diezani, Dasuki Anyim and Co with four more years? WHAT WE WANTED TO PROVE WAS THE POWER OF A PEOPLE TO RID THEMSELVES OF THE RUBBISH CALLED "PDP...POWER" The people had mercy on whom ever they would have mercy on. We voted Gen Muhammadu Buhari. The little we have seen of him is far better than the mindless hopelessness of the last administration. Let the President travel as he pleases, let his children travel as they please. let his ministers tinker as they please with policies. It is still better than BH marching into FCT or kidnapping over 200 girls in one act of terror. we can still work to finetune policies and moderate travelling. But we can never fully recover from the criminal negligence of the Wailers' Heroes! |
I'm acknowledging you for who you are...O God. thank God For PMB. unlike a president who promised some people a common bridge and delivered a gulf of poverty! now southwest will get the needed infrastructure from nearly 70% of the China deal. I also thank God this money is not for "arms" or yams |
on why Nigerians are in pain today, see the CONFESSIONAL STATEMENT of your Hero's CoordinatingMinister for the economy. According to Iweala, we are in pain today because GEJ administration lacked the political will to save for the training. Although that is half truth. the truth is: the goats ate our yams.period. If you wail henceforth, it is because you have been denied access to our yams! |

All the Wailers chest-beating amounted to zero as Nigerians in FCT reaffirmed their support for PMB. the result of the chairmanship elections indicates that APC won Abaji,Kwali, Kuje, Bwari and the biggest prize of all, AMAC. APGA clings to a remarkable victory in Gwagwalada. The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) have emerged winners of last Wednesday’s rerun elections in four Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/04/14/inec-declares-apc-apga-winners-of-fct-elections/

www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/north-central/201634-inec-fixes-april-13-fct-election-re-run.html Contrary to chest beating by wailers, APC is in clear lead in FCT. winning from coast to coast (Abaji down south to Bwari up north) Officially. Both Abaji and Bwari have been called for APC whilst AMAC holds a greater promise of victory with APC having insurmountable lead. The rerun will hold on Wednesday, 13 April, 2016. this shows the insignificance. of the possible outcome. FCT elections which is a form of opinion poll on APC led FG has demonstrated people's preparedness never to return to Pharonic corrupt io and oppression of PDP. Apparently, there is nothing wrong with APC that cannot be corrected with what is rights with it. |

219 is the number of Chibok girls GEJ led govt acknowledged to be missing and which they failed refused and neglected to bring back when the abductors trail was visible in deserts of Bornu. Fayose in his remote cocoon and without any established intelligence institution could imagine scam in Chibok girls saga. What poverty of imagination! But the Commander in Chief GEJ with over 800,000 intelligence operatives at his disposal never for once denied what brought his presidency down. Who should we believe? I believe GEJ. because he had the intelligence at his disposal. For those who believe Fayose notwithstanding his intelligence handicap, I guess it is easy for you to connect at that level where intelligence counts for nothing! such is the way of mediocrity. For the above reasons Nigerians are prepared to endure the hard and long process of Change without any regret for a party that shamelessly discount the lives of the masses. Now we know the criminal mindset that made them divert security money to campaign bonanza. they never believed terror should be defeated. it was an enterprise for filthy lucre! |

frleopardo:I didn't mention Biafra. love does not detract from whatever you consider as human right. it only helps to ensure responsible engagement of all parties. but whenever we come against each other from the point of prejudice, we can hardly make progress. |
missKiffy:No way. it is an attempt to illustrate unity at another level. to show what is possible as against what we witness here virtually everyday. and to think that you must be critical of what is not as clear as the difference between Sunday and Saturday underscores the importance of preaching tolerance. Your accusation may be right or wrong about me. But i don't know why it is convenient for you to err on the side of accusation. anyway thanks. comment noted. |

Look at this picture. it is a paint job by a Yoruba artist named Oresegun. He is being promoted by an Igbo talent hunter named Tchidi. Then you come to nairaland where faceless kids spew hate and prejudice like poison from brood of vipers! No race is superior to others in Nigeria or anywhere. Whether Hausa, Yoruba, Ibo, Igala, Ijaw, Edo, Jukun, Kanuri, Anang, Efik, Idoma, Ebira or Tiv we are one under God. and we shall only be judged individually. Never as a group. let's promote unity and intellectual sanity on nairaland by sharing this message Cc : Mynd44 lalasticlala.

EroticAngelina:Why don't you go to Romance section. the deep calls into the deep. |
Wike was the first Governor to read the Riot Act to the misguided elements agitating for Biafra and thereby disturbing peace loving citizens of Rivers State. www.dailypost.ng/2016/01/16/biafra-wike-orders-arrest-of-massob-ipob-protesters/ His case was pending in the Nigerian Judiciary, hence he wouldn't tolerate any "mob justice" that guarantees nothing but organised and random "destruction of everything that makes life a precious thing" See Syria, Eritrea, Sudan, Rwanda, etc. War may sound as inevitable to the lost souls, meanest dregs of human society and those who are ready to offer them as "dying sacrifices", yet it remains our duty to prevent whether IPOB. It is a Duty we owe God and humanity in general. Now that Gov. Wike's place is assured in the Federation, it will be foolhardy for anyone to think he will surrender that assurance for the treachery that lurks in war mongering. Long live FRN! Mynd44, Lalasticlala. All peace loving Nigerians. |
hinwazaka:Irredeemably warped perspective. Ali baba a is auditioning. Try saying this for a spot. |
shugaboy6102:If you are equating Igbo with IPOB as a race then you must apply to your secondary school for a refund on your poor education. IPOB is nothing but a sinister racket ensneering many igbo youths. |
Chief Metuh reportedly assaulted his child's school teacher for daring to cease the child's phone. Today Chief Metuh supporters are railing against the state for handcuffing their son. Imagine if two parents learnt of their children alleged misbehaviour in school. In the general African culture including Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba, parents would deal with their children for even being suspected of misdemeanor. The punishment they would give will be more than the school would give. and in some cases, the school authorities will even be begging the parents to take it easy. I couldn't imagine what my father would do if I were named in any fraud in whatever circumstances. it is a shame. for shameles parents who style themselves IPOB (by no means self respecting Igbo.) They will be agitating for their children to be set free because their children are not the only truants. if they can't get that, they will resort to blackmailing the authorities about the privileges of being a suspect. to them if other children are being punished with sweeping the floor, it is unfair to ask their own children to mop the floor. This is unlike self respecting parents who not only demand mopping of floor but also watching of toilets so as to demonstrate family honour. May God save IPOB youths from moral bankruptcy. I stand with Buhari |
