My experienced brothers/sis in the house, please at what month will clarias[dutch]/hybrid catfish attain its maximum growth?. In order word, at what month should one sell his/her fish so as not to waste unnecessary money on feeding catfish that would no longer grow so as to maximise profit? |
Mogidi:Which excuses? PYO has just stated the state of the economy and all you could come up with is mockery. How can a country that is borrowing to service debt pride herself as the largest economy because of one useless rebasing. Why is it difficult for the government to plan for economic chaos when oil revenue was above $100p/b? What happened to our ECA? How much have we saved in SWF? Will the interest accrue to it enough to service our debt? Honestly, GMB will not be forgiven if he failed to bring to book all those that are responsible for this mess. |
Neyomickey1:Praising or condemning an appointee before he resume work is just a guess work, we can only praise his past achievement based on what he has offered and not what we assume he will do. I hope he will not turn to be another Abati |
@Olamitisoji, pls bro i understand your passion but dont be discourage by the response offered as it is the best that will save you of loss of your hard earned money. Kindly grow your business gradually even if you have enough money to start big. You can save the rest, fixed it until the appropriate time when you would have acquired necessary knowledge to expand it. Also you can invest part of the money in assets that will be required in near future to expand your farm. |
Isorite The cooked story was just imagination of Orubebe's thought. |
I dont want to believe the story is true because twitter is not the right avenue of joining a party. Until i see him declare in his ward meeting, i reserve my comment |
Sweetguy25:In 1971 during economic recession in the United State of America, Lincoln the president jettisoned the dollar backed by gold policy, institutes social programmes that is aimed at the poor and create a tax leverage for domestic companies while bridging the gap between the rich and the poor through introduction on taxes on the rich. Since then the dollar has taken the place of gold while emerging economies became slaves to the dollar. What is then is the fear nairanisation of our economy? It is simply the fear of unknown. Suffice then to say that this approach is welcome only if the government will depart from the present way of spending in order to reduce inflation that will arise as a result of increase naira, but if the money is targeted toward the poor and middle class, this will increase economic activities and rejuvenate our economy from depression. To me inflation can be better managed than depression |
Good |
Johnnyessence:I sympathise with you bro, no matter what happened it is one of the lessons of life, and we will all learn from this so as not to be a victim to such dubious ways of these fish sellers. Having said that, i think i need to go buy sharp-sharp my own scale. Which type is good that cant be easily manipulated because i dont understand a situation where two scales will give different figure of the same fish |
AdeniyiA:Seconded |
With the recent concluded election, one can say this is the most irresponsible government in the history of this country. Where was the government in the past 4year when price of crude oil soar with high generated revenue that was all squandered by the GEJ administration and cronies. What happened to our ECA, SWF and other savings by the previous government. To say that this country cannot withstand a year of oil dwindling revenue without result to borrowing is nothing but gross incompetence on the part of the managers of this economy. Madam NOI you no try at all |
CyberWolf:Noted bro, now we should all rise up above ethnic politics and help in our little way to rescue this country from the political elites who cut accross all ethnicity rather than start instigating one region against another like one outcast who has shifted from being neutral to a political opposition in Nairaland |
CyberWolf:The purpose of this thread does not in anyway revive to mock nor to condemn Igbo but to clearly guide some irresponsible ones who continue to swim in the water of hatred, jealousy and blatant disdain for Yoruba. How will you feel as a Yorubaman having "just given Jonathan 5 out of 6 SW States to make him President only to be reading that we must be "punished" and "starved". Why should anyone advocate for the "punishment" of the Yorubas if not the "chop sand" obsession of some of your kinsmen against us? Did we not play our part to make GEJ President?" Rather than swallow their pride having taken the most regrettable political decision of their lives, and key into the era of hope that is expected to transform our lives for better they have resorted to creating divisive thread of hate with the aim of recruiting gullible people from the SE/SE to fulfill their egocentric proclivity. If you are objective like Gbawe has rightly said the responsibility lies on you to debunk their lies and join all well meaning Nigerians in uniting the divided country which GEJ's government is mostly responsible for |
ozoigbondu:Since you're the financial secretary of Goodluck campaign team, can you tell us how much was actually expended in the worthless adventure, |
gateleo:Someone should help us tell the clueless that his time is up, May 29th seems to be a long time to endure, because Jonathan has decided to punish us with fuel scarcity and late payment of salary because we booted the Otuoke hero out of Aso Rock |
[quote author=anonimi post=33198415]Please let us know when you have addressed the same rubbish to: - Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu - Alhaji Nasir El Rufai Thanks Barcanista's botler, how market? |
by barcanista(m): 4:17pm On Jan 27 AIT/GEJ Lied To Nigerians 1. Fela NEVER mentioned Buhari in $N2.8B scandal. He mentioned OBJ. AIT edited that part off. 2. Buhari did not expel Ghanians from Nigeria. Shagari of the NPN did. AIT made a FALSE assertion. http://www.nytimes.com/1983/02/02/world/by-land-and-sea-they-stream-from-nigeria.html 3. Gloria Okon did not disappear under Buhari it was under IBB and Dele Giwa was murdered for it. 4. GEJ went so low to bring Buhari’s daughters into politics. Can one use Dame’s inability to bear a child as a campaign issue? 5. Fela’s mother the GREAT Funmilayo Kuti died after OBJ Kalakuta in 1978 Buhari came into power in 1984. 6. All Politicians that was sentenced to prison by the 1984 Military Tribunal were found to either enrich themselves with public funds or diverted public funds. Non were convicted by fiat 7. GEJ and AIT went after Buhari ’s late wife and daughter. How low and desperate can Jonathan get? 8. AIT/GEJ alleged that Buhari has been losing since 1999. This is a lie. Buhari's first shot was in 2003. In 1999 Chief Olu Falae of ANPP/AD contested against Obj. 9. AIT/GEJ criticised Buhari for Heading PTF Board. Whereas, PTF is till date the most successful parastatal ever in Nigeria. Through PTF, the Amazon Dora Akunyili was known. Vote for GMB/APC for Change in Nigeria. PDP propaganda is distasteful and obscene. Should be condemned by all. The AIT documentary on Buhari will not make him less popular. President Jonathan is still playing catch up....... It is very shameful for someone who typed this few months ago on social media only to come and contradict all what he said. What do you really stand for? You cant continue to speak from both sides of your mouth and expect people to take you seriously |
wahalababe:Bad belle |
When this most corrupt government in the world started brandishing $1.48b as and unaccounted fund from NDPC, and tanoid started in their usual rant castigating opposition as instigator of the probe while absolving the NNPC and petroleum ministry of any involvement, i told them not to be in a hurry because that is just a tip of an iceberg. This report has vindicated the progressives and patriotic Nigerians who in has continue to expose this hoax called government. Tanoid and co should bury their head in shame for defending a government who does not know they exist |
Samojo4real:Do you know the local name of the plant [leucaena] |
With his name, all corruptions have started trembling, cant wait for GMB to be sworn in as the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria |
I think people can now see the different between APC and PDP, while APC leaders ,GMB, Tinubu has remained steadfast as an opposition in the past, the same cannot be said of PDP with the likes of Kashamu who suddenly fell in love with Tinubu the moment APC won the presidential election. Kashamu, your love letter is not accepted, kindly go back to your estranged love who is already on his way to Otuoke |
Chigold101:You do not get it. Tinubu dont want to be associated with corrupt Kashamu. It will now dawn on many of your likes who continue to say that APC is an extension of PDP. Remeber election is over, APC dont want to be contaminated with corrupt PDP, stay in your party, lick your wounds and console yourself for losing federal power, but turning around to associate with progressives, Mbano |
Our president-elect, Nigeria needs 10 of this super-jet train during your tenure |

robonski15:I have been doing a lay man research because im neither a biologist nor agriculturist but have come across certain proteinous leaves that have been researched and serve as supplement to fish meal. And i have been able to come across two major and common leaves that can replace some percentage of fishmeal 1. Taro leaves [Cocoa yam leaves] Colocasia esculenta 2. Leucaena leucocephala leaf [Botanical name, dont know its English nor the local name Taro leaves- Research has been conducted on this leaves as fish meal for pig with good result, and there seems to be futher research on its applicability in production of fish feed when formulated with other ingredient such Fishmeal 35&, Taro leave 20%,Soya bean 35%, Maize 35%, Premix and Salt. Disadvantage: It is revealed that it is antinutrient which can be removed by boiling, it equally contained more fibre and lack necessary amino acid that fishmeal contain. However, whether input of premix, and other multivitamin can replace the nutrient deficiency is yet to be determined Leucaena Leucocephala leaf- This like taro leave can also be included in the production of fish feed because of the present of 25%crude protein. it equally has similar disadvantages as present in cocoayam leaf Submission: I believe Cocoyam leaf especially the red type is rich in protein because some tribes do eat it as form of vegetable. However, i am still at a loss on Leucaena Leucocephala tree and want any one that is familiar with it to enlighten us Reference:Journal of FisheriesSciences.com Tiamiyu et al., 9(1): 351-355 (2015) Journal abbreviation: J FisheriesSciences |
inikamoze:Dont ask Nairaland Ask the guy |
From the analysis given so far, it is possible to trek that distance within that hour. But why are people making it APC thing? If you are doubting the guy kindly interview the guy and verify among the people at every stop where he passed the night from Lagos to Abuja during those 18 nights |
Cleoo:Whaooooo, 40kg or you mean 4kg, 40kg is almost the size of ram o. Feeding your fish with tomatoes, waterleaf, green [spinach], cucumber, garden egg etc, seems to be an archaic way of feeding fish. We are talking of the best leaves that contain high protein and other nutrient that will enhance optimum growth within the shortest possible period to maximise profit. Rearing fish for 2years before harvest is not viable for a shrewd businessman. Changing water after 6month is advicable when you are using earthen ponds. All the same thank you for your input as these fruits can be applied as additional diet provided it will not purge the fish and cause pollution to the pond |
What is the basis for the OP thread if i may ask? APC won election on March 28 and is yet to be sworn in yet you have started condemning the yet-to-be government with you baseless analysis. What amount of information are you privy to when all you have been writing is a complete stereotype of what junk journalist has written about. The fact that the FG says it pegged our budget at 4trillion+ does not actually represent the figure generated. For avoidance of doubt i will implore you to relate with top notch within the corridor of power and you will know that certain information is not reveal to the public. I assure you that presently the country is capable of generating 10trillion naira in revenue but due to corruption, wastage and mismanagement that is the reason while our budget has remained almost in stagnation for the past four years. This is high time Nigeria maximise its potential through a transparent tax regime, development of other mineral resources and investment in human and infrastructure so as to increase the revenue of the government. Please save us your sermon and come back 2years after the government has been sworn in to assess its performance. Remember your analysis about the election particularly in South West collapse before your very eyes. |
