Newcastle2023:@Newcastle2023 you will not change. ![]() You just can't resist the temptation of giving definite timelines, you're not ES and this is a public service role things are bound to change. Everyone should just wait and be hopeful, whenever the mails drop it will drop. For now lets continue doing what we do and move on with our lives so that other better opportunities don't pass us by. |
The guys photos and all his social media pages should also be put up. He can run but can't hide |
YoungRay007:This is an interesting topic for me, I got a new car for my wife & I'm considering giving out the old toyota corolla 2009 model on hire purchase to a friend for N2.1Mn (Mind you the car is very clean and I already have a buy offer for N2.3Mn) I'm expecting a weekly return of 40k/week and the potential driver (who is currently without a job) claims he can meet up, any Bolt/Uber driver to advice if I should help him or should I just sell off the car to a potential buyer, location is in Port-Harcourt. |
Bbqekpa:Imagine your saddist audacity to make such assumption, that a test question is straight forward and easy doesn't make the lecturer unintelligent. From the lecturers sense of humor it's clear his confident in his intellectual capabilities and not like most insecure bunch of fools which will use intellectual gra gra as a cover for their inadequacies. |
Fiscus105:And who exactly are you to judge, check your life do you think you're in any way morally better than her. Just know that you too will be judged by the all seeing Almighty |
Kooramo:Pls Shat Ap!!!! |
Icouldhave:A lot of miserable Nigerians are like yourself, thank God you've had the courage to search deep and accept your flaws. What you are suffering from is some form of depression and low self-esteem, you must find a way to be contententent with whatever you have no matter how little, get a concrete plan to love and develop yourself and stay focused on your personal and spiritual growth. Also try and celebrate your little wins no matter how little even if it successfully completing a task even if it laying your bed. That way other peoples successes wont bother your as long as you stay positive that yours will come someday. Shalom |
bmyc:Exactly, I believe that since NCDMB had agreed to training 1000 persons, they may wish to do it in batches of 100/batch. Training 1000 people all at once will require a very robust training facility, a high number of skilled facilitators, hugh bulk funding and a lot of planning and logistics management. It's simply impractical considering the circumstances, that is if the training outcome is expected to be effective & valuable. |
lifenija:Solutions to Nigeria's problems aren't usually straight forward but counter-intuitive and this is a classical example. What you are proposing is very logical in a sane society but in reality it has proven to be detrimental if not disastrous. Bankers are worse sharks than the Aboki on the streets, they will turn the entire FX market into a rackett where only the Elites, Companies and Big Merchants will have access to FX. Truly, CBN has to put an end to this parallel market madness, however it has to be implemented in well thought out, planned and systematic approach, something this current CBN administration isn't very familiar with. They will rather wake up and put a ban on BDCs overnight and when they're faced with the repercussion of their decision as expected, they then put a blame on a transparent website like Aboki FX. Bunch of clowns!! |
Kingpele:It's that clown CBN Gov that should be shutdown not Aboki FX; This is just Incompetence at its peak. Is it Aboki FX that sets the rates and creates the fiscal policies for the nation? I didn't need an economist to tell me that there was going to be a severe economic downturn the moment that daft CBN Gov announced in August that he as shutting down most BDCs across the nation because or terrorism and banditry. Every Nigerian with common sense already know that due to FG-Govts negligence over the years, the BDCs have become very powerful and significantly influential to the Nigerian economy and as such taking a head-on swipe at them will definitely come with its repercussions. Something the CBN shouldn't have attempted considering the dire economic situation of the country. I would have expected the CBN to develop a solid plan and set roburst FX policies before going after the BDCs. But no, the slowpoke CBN Gov went into a gun fight using daggers and now he's blaming a 'website' for the alarming inflation rates and fall of the Naira. Aboki FX are just doing their job and the FX rates that they publish are totally accurate creating transparency in the parallel FX Market, Emefiele is a disaster and should be sacked immediately else he will wreck this country with his incompetence. Anyway, I don't blame him but the clueless President who doesn't know any better. I really miss the days of the likes of Okonjo-Iwuela (Minster of Finance & Co-Ordinating Minister of the Economy) and Sanusi (CBN Gov) but Nigerians don't appreciate good things. |
All I see here is bad upbringing, Nigerians parents should do better and devote more time and love to their children. Everything is not about money. |
jjj37:I'm totally appalled and disappointed at how UNGRATEFUL a lot of you have been. Newcastle has done so much in giving us some good updates regarding this recruitment while none of you haven't contributed anything except to come here and call him out for his selfless sacrifice. I've been following this recruitment closely from last year and there hasn't been one information from Newcastle that doesn't have some serious element of truth in it. From the period to expect the 1st and 2nd tests; to the information regarding uploading of documents; to him coming out to encourage everyone that the recruitment process is still ongoing and alive unlike some naysayers here who claimed that the process was dead and now the information that the interview will commence soon. It's the audacity of saying 'He is defending RUBBISH' when you yourself have contributed absolutely nothing to this thread. To Newcastle, some of us here who are enlightened and know how unpredictable government recruitments can be really appreciate the contributions and update you're doing and we pray your dream of landing an APL comes to pass. To everyone who have been making invaluable contributions Kudos, keep up the good work and continue to be the good people you are. To the rest of the team reading this, let's pray for GRACE to be shortlisted at the end cos if it's by "Connection or purely Merit," 99% of the people here are not going to make it. God's speed to everyone. |
Nicholaspepe:And you went ahead to to do even worse with your comment "May your entire generation perish & be buried in Sambisa forest" You see how shameless you are, anyway send me your account details, let me show you what true brotherly love is about. |
Goodplace:General rule of thumb, your rent shouldn't be more than your 2 months income. However there are other factors to consider 1. Proximity to work - If the accommodation is close to the work place and you will not be spending on transportation OR there's a company's vehicle/ bus on that route and you will not be spending on transportation or your transportation cost will be a lot less compared to a cheaper accommodation. 2. Security: This is really important, cheaper accommodation comes with less security. I know someone who learnt this the hard way, he got robbed of 2 laptops, 1 phone and other valuables including those that didn't belong him within a year. 3. Light, Water, Hygiene and Comfort: Health is truly wealth, the money you think you will save on rent you may end up spending on Petrol for gen, Medications, Drinking water, etc. Whereas in a compound located in an area where there is good hygiene, light and a clean borehole you'll save a lot and still maintain a your sound mind. I hope this little piece of mine is helpful, but pls upgrade your hustle. 80k Salary/Month is slavery except you're gathering invaluable skills on the job that will helpful in future. |
I have a feeling that this entire recruitment process was from the onset just one grand hoax. Somebody up there wanted to award a employment/recruitment contract to his/her person based on official one or two. That explains why they weren't officially open & transparent with the organisation in charge. |
zukky79:Werey dey disguise |
Officialhorlah:This Adamu Garbage likes to trash talk, however there is some sense in nonSENSE. For the records, Okonjo-Iwuela is a Board Director in Twitter although this has nothing to do with recent happenings in the country or what I'm I even saying? |
nzeobi:Why do people just comment without making any form of research even with an internet at their disposal. With all the national football matches being played in that stadium you still think the stadium is useless? Visit Akwa-Ibom whenever the super eagles has a match, all the exquisite hotels are booked, mass influx of people from neighboring states thereby increasing the IGR of the state. Nt to mention other clubs who use the stadium on a regular. As for the refinery, I hope you're aware that the 2nd largest refinery in Nigeria is currently under construction in Akwa-Ibom. Akwa-Ibom state still remains the only state with a State-Owned running & functional Power Plant (Ibom Power); Airport with a functional airline (Ibom Air) and a robust natural gas network constructed and developed with state funds. |
AishaYesufu:Don't use your mothers standards to judge other women. |
Nacoss25:Let me advise you as a married man myself, try not to make it a big issue and trust your partner more. It takes time for women to settle into their marriage both mentally and emotionally especially if you guys didn't date long enough. Most of ladies are prepared for wedding and completely unprepared for marriage and will still cling to their previous attachments such as Friends, Mother, Sisters, Cousins, Family, etc (although 'Male Bestie' is sort of strange). You will need to invest time, resources and energy into your marriage especially in these early stages to gain her absolute trust until she feels comfortable enough to detach from them. It may take a while, say two to three years but trust me when you get to that stage, you'll be cruising in your marriage like it's a bonanza. There's nothing better emotionally than having a loyal partner, no amount of money can buy you that and the sad reality is that it doesn't come automatically with the marriage certificate, it takes a conscious effort and God's Grace. I'm a happily married guy myself and I have absolute PEACE. Happy Married Life Brother |
EkenmaPeter:Workout and do regularly exercises, it may seem counter productive at first however over time you'll find out it'll make your mind sharp and keep you alert during all day. |
I don't know what these guys are saying about this recruitment being cancelled/suspended but what I'm certain is that APL letters will be shared by end of June and I'll be among the successful candidates by God's Grace. |
Bigshoe2028:I have a trust wallet already, How can I stake BNB |
familier:The next decade of your life is for Self Discovery, Self Love and most especially Self-Development. Never be afraid to try new things and take positive and calculated risks; never get yourself stuck in your safe & comfort zone for too long. |
Cynthy008:Actually from reliable information gathered, for those who have been shortlisted, the merit list will be based on Surname Alphabetical Order irrespective of test score or performance at the interview. Once they get the number that's it. # Please nobody should ask me any question, since we're all free to come here and speculate as we wish without using common sense. |
sMilA:Here's how this may play out, you can get the bank job & get paid pretty fairly but then you'll live the rest of your life regretting you gave up on your dreams and trust me bank jobs will always make you feel that way. OR You can proceed to doing your masters and focus on getting an NGO job but that isn't a guarantee you'll end up in a good humanitarian NGO as it requires not only high level internationally recognized qualifications but also strong connections. Without these your entire life's ambition is based on luck and the question is, are you ready to risk it all? My advice: Pray to the Almighty to help and guide you. Circumstances will occur which will help make it easier for you to decide. Don't make life changing decisions out of fear and remember not all that glitters is gold. I have a friend who took up a lecturing job compared to a high paying oil & gas servicing job & we thought he was crazy at the time. Today he's in a far better place compared to those who took up the oil & gas job and eventually got laid off. |
Donshocker:Why don't you wait until you have received the APL with the engagement terms, thereafter you can make your decision or request for the opinion of others if you'll still have your reservations. |
sapphiere:God Cannot Lie |
lalasticlala:Looking at the nature of our corrupt system and society, Toll-Gate systems will be ideal in ensuring good highway road infrastructure as well as inter-state border security. However, FG should reduce federal revenue taxes in-order to justify the implementation of these toll system, even if it's by 10%. |
Harddiskng:Senior Man When Sabi!!!.... All these people shouting "I scored this, I scored that, I hope it's on Merit..." as if all things being equal, if the APL is to be given to the best of the best candidates they'll make the list... For example, those who finally got the 2019 NNPC recruitment job through 'Merit' are they in any way smarter or more intelligent than those who didn't. Pray for God's favor and keep hope alive even if you scored low, after all at the end of this recruitment they're people who will get the job without writing the test and guess what, they may be more qualified than you. It's the reality of our country and that's the system for now. I come in peace |
Lunex:I appreciate your sincerity and effort towards giving this info but please going forward DO NOT divulge the identity of your informant in a public place like this. Just go ahead with the info and keep the persons workplace, role & even gender anonymous. E get why.... |
