lekanolas:
A prominent member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos is feared dead.

Rasaq Bello, popularly called Hamburger, was shot on Monday in the Shogunle area of Lagos during the local council primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He was shot by members of a rival gang led by Samson Agbetoye, popularly called Golden.

Golden belongs to the MC Olumo faction of the NURTW in the state.

Bounce News gathered that trouble started shortly after the council primary in the Shogunle ward was abruptly aborted after members protested the modalities for the conduct of the exercise.

The exercise was held at the Shogunle Town Hall.

It was furthered gathered that Hamburger and his group later stormed the base of Golden in Ago Owu street.
Both camps exchanged gun shots. One of the shots hit Hamburger and was ferried away from the scene of the incident by his supporters.

The bloody incident has forced residents of Owode Street and environs to flee their homes over fears of a reprisal attack.

Lagos State police command spokesperson, said he has not been briefed on the matter.

Hamburger is the Lagos State Treasurer of Tricycle Operators, a branch of NURTW.

He was recently installed as the Akinrogun of Shogunle.

Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerian Pastor, Oluwadayomisi Epenusi, Killed In US by Tunagee(m): 10:29am On May 23, 2017
JamieBlog:
Police in Indianapolis, capital of Indiana in the United States have launched a manhunt for the killer of a Nigerian pastor, Oluwadayomisi Epenusi.

The 66 year old Nigerian was shot to death at the weekend at an apartment complex near 10th Street and I-465 on the city’s west side. Friends and neighbors said Epenusi, had only recently moved to Indiana from Nigeria where he worked as a pastor.

Neighbors say they heard a series of gunshots early Saturday morning. “I heard about 15 gunshots. It was nuts,” said neighbor Kristina Teague

Teague called 911, but by the time police arrived the victim had run back to his apartment and a roommate then drove the bleeding man to Eskenazi Hospital where the 66-year-old died, unable to explain to his roommate what led up to the shooting. “The roommate said when he was on the way he asked him what happened and why he got shot, but the man couldn’t say nothing because he was still in pain,” said Moshood Kafaru.

Kafaru moved to the United States from Nigeria , as did the victim who worked as a pastor. “He was just a nice person who would go to work and come home and go to church. He didn’t talk to nobody. He never bothered nobody,” said Kafaru.

Police don’t know for sure, but Kafaru believes the violence started as a robbery. “He was holding a purse. He refused to let it go. They thought he had money in the purse, but he didn’t want to let it go,” said Kafaru.

A large group of Nigerians live in the apartment complex and those that knew Epenusi say he had been working hard to help his kids to move to the United States. “They just got a visa. That why he was working, so his family can come over here,” said Kafaru. “He was just an innocent man and it just upsets me that he’s gone just like that.”

“It’s really sad because he was here sending money to his family,” said Teague.

Police have asked people with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.

Knetpro:
Here is how to setup a bulk SMS reseller business and rake in over N200,000 every single month of the year!!!

If there is any online business that is very simple to operate and does not require much capital to start it is the bulk SMS reseller business.

You need N5,000 for domain registration (example of a domain name is www.komeitoje.com).

Another N3,000 for web hosting.

And another N2,300 for a bulk sms reseller store.

The final thing you need is "The Bulk SMS Reseller Guide" by Kome Itoje valued at N2,500.

The Bulk SMS Reseller Guide is a very comprehensive step by step eBook which describes in detail the process of setting up and customising your bulk SMS reseller website.

The Bulk SMS reseller Guide by Kome Itoje also shows you in explicit detail how to market your bulk SMS business to individuals and corporate organisations as well as all the necessary strategies involved in raking in over N200,000 every single month!

Hence, with just N12,800, you would have set up your bulk SMS reseller website completely.

The next thing you would need to do is purchase SMS units from your reseller host.

The cost of each SMS unit varies and is subject to the total units you wish to purchase at every point in time. For instance, if you wish to buy 1,000 sms units, then you would need to pay N2,283.74.

And you can sell that for N3,000 or even more.

This invariably means that you can start a bulk sms business with just N20,000 or even less than that.

The bulk SMS business is one business that does not only need very little capital to set up, it is a business that is always in vogue. And it is also a business that will always thrive.

There are so many people that will always need the services of a bulk SMS website. Business men, school proprietors, churches and so on are some of your potential customers.

For more info on how to set up a bulk SMS website, please see the following web page ===>>> http://komeitoje.com/how-to-setup-a-bulk-sms-website.html

masterbator:
Good day fellow Nairalanders.

I've been in this forum for years now but for the sake of this post, I decided to create a new account to conceal my identity and prevent the humiliation that I have actually brought upon myself from getting much worse and severe.

I am a 21 year old undergraduate and I can no longer hide this anymore, masturbation is killing me, this act is slowly eating me away and all I've been doing is watch. I masturbate twice daily and this is killing me. I feel depressed, worthless, dispirited, lost the will to live. I've tried a couple times to stop but it's like trying to quit smoking when the pipe is attached to your body.

Without masturbation I can not sleep. Without it, I can't go on for a day. It's like a demon that has chained me down. I can't watch myself destroy my own life and that's why I post here. I've been masturbating for 8 years now and I want to stop it please.

I need help. NLders please if you are going through this endless self-destructive loop please indicate your interest in quitting. If you have overcome this deamon, please kindly tell me how? Please I need to break free from this. It's destroying every other part of my life.

Please if you're or used to be a victim, please let's work this over together, It seems this is bigger than me!!!

Please if you want to reach me this is my number 09023624369.
Thanks guys for your assistance.
Guy try seek God and accept Jesus as your lord and saviour then ensure u stop watching pornography. Also ensure u stop or desist from staring at ladies backsides and boobs. Most of our ladies of these days are one of the causes of guys masturbating with the sexually provocative things they wear. Please make sure u are not always alone most of the time

Phones › Re: Mtn Still Has The Highest Gsm Internet And Mobile Subscribers In Q1 2017 by Tunagee(m): 8:45am On May 11, 2017
BrandSpurNG:
In March 2017, the total number of GSM subscribers was 151,999,197, which was 2,125,405 less than in December 2016, equivalent to a decrease of 1.38%. This was the first quarterly decline since the previous March.

According to the Nigerian Telecommunication Sector Report (Q1 2017), released by the National Bureau of Statistics yesterday, Airtel was the only GSM provider to record an increase in the number of subscribers relative to the previous quarter, of 1.58%, which means this provider recorded the highest growth rate for the second consecutive quarter.

Their number increased by 540,196 to reach 34,656,605 between December 2016 and March 2017. This was nevertheless lower than the quarterly growth rate of 4.09% recorded in December 2016. Although the other three providers recorded decreases in their numbers over this period, the decrease recorded by Globacom was slight.

With 37,328,827 subscribers, Globacom had 29,016 fewer subscribers in March 2017 than in December 2016, a decrease of only 0.08%. In percentage terms, Etisalat recorded the largest decline, for the third consecutive month, of 5.71% compared to 2.34% for MTN. However, given that MTN has significantly more subscribers, with 60,391,959 in March 2017 compared to 19,621,806 for Etisalat, their monthly decrease was larger in absolute terms. MTN lost 1,448,502 subscribers relative to December 2016, compared to a loss of 1,188,083 for Etisalat.

These trends did not change the overall ranking of GSM providers in terms of numbers of subscribers. MTN remained the largest provider, and accounted for 39.73% in March 2017, a slightly lower share than the share of 40.12% at the end of the previous quarter. Airtel and Globacom each increased their share slightly over the same period, from 22.14% to 22.8%, and from 24.24% to 24.56% respectively.
