LilNetty: Three children abandoned in a boarding school in Abule-Iroko in the Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State are longing to meet their parents who have abandoned them for eight years. WhenPUNCH Metrovisited Solid Model College, the children recounted their ordeal, noting that the absence of their parents was affecting their studies. Seun Adepegba, 14,Seyi, 10 and Titilola, 13, had been severed from parental love and care since infanthood. After waiting for eight years, they seemed to have relinquished all hopes of reuniting with their parents. It was learnt that their tale of sorrow began in 2007 when their father, Mr Segun Adepegba, who had been separated from their mother, enrolled them in the boarding school because he could not afford to take care of them. According to the proprietor of the school, Mr Samuel Ayegbusi, Adepegba came to enroll them in his school on September 24, 2007 with a promise to always check on them. He said, “Mr. Adepegba told me his wife had just left him and that he could not afford to take care of them, being a jobless man. The children were very little. Seyi was two, while Titilola was five. “Mr Adepegba had pleaded with me to accept them in the boarding school. Mr Adepegba’s sister promised to bear the cost of their upkeep. They paid an initial N150, 000 for the three children for the first term.” But according to the proprietor, Adepegba never kept his promise. He said after the first term, the school expected him to come and take his children home for holiday but he never showed up until four years later. He said the school had expended over N7m on the upkeep of the children since 2007. The proprietor said efforts to reach the parents’ families had proved abortive, adding that calls to Adepegba’s phones were not always answered. He said, “Whenever we called him and he realised who was talking on the phone, he would switch off his phones and for the next two weeks, the numbers would not be available. When the school contacted their father’s sisters, we were told that they had travelled out of the country. “When we called one of them, we were told that they had sent money to Mr Adepegba to defray the children’s school fees and upkeep. But Mr. Adepegba has never come here to make any payment since the initial deposit he made in 2007.” According to the proprietor, taking care of the children had further become cumbersome for him as one of them, Titilayo, had started misbehaving. He recounted how Titilayo ran away from the hostel twice without informing the school authority on the excuse that she was going to look for her father. Ever since she was found, the proprietor said the school had had to keep her in a room, under tight surveillance, because she had vowed to run away to find her father. He said, “The school is not even bothered by the cost of their upkeep. But anytime the school closed for holiday and parents come around to take their children home, Titilayo would fall into a sober mood and twice, she had run away from the hostel without informing anyone. It was a resident who stopped her and brought her back to the school. Some of the teachers, who spoke withPUNCH Metroduring the visit, said the absence of the children’s parents was seriously affecting their studies. They said the appearance of their parents would boost their academic performance. While recounting their days with their father, the children said he celebrated birthdays with them. They said they had never met their mother. Titilayo said, “We do not know who our mother is. We grew up in Yaba, Lagos and all we remember is that there was a woman that washed our clothes and took care of us until we came here. We knew she was not our mother.” Seyi, the youngest of the trio, however, was an exception as she kept a cheerful look during the visit. Seyi, who told our correspondent her dream was to become a medical doctor said, “Although I have a faint memory of my father, I will like to see him. If he comes today, I will ask him why he left us for so long.” Seun added, “I don’t care how long he has left us. I just want to see him. I really need to see him.” WhenPUNCH Metrocalled Adepegba on Thursday, his phones were switched off. Edusouls: Shut up all you, u think life is easy, do you know the hell the man is going through where ever he is now, do you think he is happy with what is happening, do u know what hell he had gone through in the hands of her vry baad wife, he even saved the childrens life by not abandoning them on to their fate, he at least made a very good move to put them in a school where he knows people will be on them, where is their irresponsible and vry heartless woman that abandoned both father and children and dissapeared for good, see some women re doom when they enter ur life you regret been even born into this life, she will unleash hell to everything close to you, and you re just few years aways from early grave. May God help that man, i know he loves his children but has nothing to care for the kids, but he made a very clever move, now he has saved this kids from long torment of life they would have gone through if he had abandoned them just like her doom wife, and God will also bless the school for their devoution and patience for 8years, it is not easy, most schools wont tolerate that..and finaly i pray that their father is still well and alive, after regaining his stand he should come and reunite with his kids. women are known to be devils, anyway. I agree with you the father of the kids really tried, but at least, should pick his calls whenever the schools call his line. The children wants his attention, and he had better do it now before its too late. As for the mother, if truely she abandoned his three kids to go and marry another man for whatever excuse, she is doomed forever; and this still explains my point that women are devils and are heartless. Men that tolerate nonsense from women are trying. They are such useless beings. |

Ymodulus: 8hours of pain, 480mins of suffering, 28,800 seconds of sorrow.
I do not belief in the existence of Hell fire as religionist paints it. However I must say that if there is anything more hotter than fairy tale Hell fire, then it is the JEBBA - MOKWA ROAD from Kwara to Niger STATE. And I have been there. 22:09 Military Time, 10:09 local time, Sunday 19th of October 2014. From a cold mild beautiful sunset to a boring, regretful day. From happiness to sadness, joy go sorrow. This has been my ordeal as I ply the road heading from Lagos Down to the North via the Jebba - Mokwa Road. Before I go on , I am Ymodulus, some call me psycho but you can call me the Man who is on the road to Hell and is yet to be out.
JEBBA Experience I got to JEBBA around 1:49 Pm, I was excited on hearing from the driver that we are on the JEBBA - Mokwa road. Reason for my excitements are not far-fetched. 1 for the fact that I felt I was close to my final destination and secondly I have always reamt of seeing how beautiful thing road I as Paine by the Minister of Works on an AIT Raypower Show called Political Platform. Note that am an addict listener of the radio show political platform on radio fequency dial of raypower 100.5 Hz abuja. And the issue of federal roads have been one Amaechi Anakwe, has been really hitting on. He has interviewed the Minister of Works in person of Mike Onolememe an in all interview, he has been speaking wonders of major road along the federation like the Benin - Ore , Lagos - Ibadan, Kogi - lokoja, JEBBA - Mokwa road. Am not here to tell you about the kogi lokoja road, no am here to talk about the JEBBA - Mokwa road.
1. I can vividly recall The minister of Works saying the JEBBA - Mokwa road has been awards and its 80% near completion. This I heard with my 2 ears not that I was told, no. I heard it from the Minister mouth my self. I was happy and felt the Minister is working but to my greatest surprise today cleared my eyes. All the figures or percentage quoted by the Minister are all false. I am on the Jebba- Mokwa as at this Time of posting making it roughly 8-9hours all because of the Poor state of the road. What I saw with my eyes I asked if the contract the Minister said was awarded is spiritual rather than physical. 2.I cant categorically say I have seen the best of the best roads in Nigeria, I have been to 33 states in the federation this year alone and I can Boldly and categorically tell you that what I know for sure is I have seen the worst Road in Nigeria.
Acts of the Law enforcement Bodies. If you ask me anyday i will say only Police fficers collects Bribe. But today i learnt that even the Army do, but in a big way (N500). Federal Road Safety workers all sitting and laughing eating Pop Corn and one stupid fellow asking for Bottle water from the driver. Local Vigilantes men asking for N50 or any form of tip. Boys on the road repairing the road blocking it until the driver drops some form of bribe. Let me not deviate as the acts of the law enforcement agencies are not my reason for writing this, but the state of the road and the lies been heralded by the Minister.
Solution Available Drivers are going back to follow a place call Jaji. Now at Jaji they will pay some ferry me sum of N1000, after which they drive the vehicle on top of the ferry and the ferry will cross the water to the other end of the river bank and journey continues.
Lastly I have vowed never to ply the JEBBA - Mokwa Road again in my life time. I will rather revert to the former option (flight). Its easier and no stress. Just that these days Aero airlines are acting funny. Increasing ticket fare from 25k to 36k on the queue not on their website.
Pardon me I can't write in full as am on my Mobile phone. Also forgive me of all grammatical errors as I can't screen proof at this moment. Below are some pictures I took before my phone was seized by a military officer and he deleted some photos off. I learnt a lesson never bring out your phone close to the military Dogs they are beast. Right now am at the JEBBA federal electricity generation Plant. All cars brought to a halt. I will have to stop here my battery is 6% and the Xiaomi power bank given to me by Initialize is dead. It proved it worth today. Here are some photos. Am to upload 30photos but if they are not up to 30. Kindly know that my phone is dead. And till I get to my destination, may be Tomorrow or next I will upload more and if you hear no more from me. Then know that I died on the JEBBA - Mokwa road Do you think you have a govt? |

Godmystrength: Are you saying that she started changing after two years of marriage? Can you really walk back into the past and determined when the changes started and the circumstances around that time?
Is there something her father does and she also want you to be doing for her? what is that thing? (not saying you should be like her father but just want to know what she is using as the basis of comparison)
This same thing you just told us on NL, have you discussed them with her? What was her response?
One thing i have come to realise about life is that you are the only one that knows what can/will make you happy. Noone can assume (on your behalf) to know you better than yourself.. Most times, the things we keep doing and thinking they are suppose to make our spouse happy might not be what they actually want.
Using myself as an example, Imagine my hubby complaining to a friend now that he bought me 5 different dresses with shoes to match and that i am not appreciative and that i am complaining about the clothes that he bought at an expensive price, he repainted the house to my favorite colors for my birthday, change all the curtains in the house to the best he could lay his hands on, bought some numbers of jeans and t shirts for our son, that i have been looking for N1,000 to get a simple black multipurpose slippers and he decided to surprise me by getting a very good quality expensive slippers of my favorite color, cooked a big pot of delicious soup (with orisirisi) waiting for my arrival from work, bla bla bla and i could not say a simple thank you. And that i have been fighting and nagging him all day... I know if you are the friend, you might be quick to call me a bad wife.... Only for you to hear from me that he used the money meant for our house rent and loan repayment to get all those and he still has some debts to settle on them.....(I just gave you a real case scenario)....
I am not saying you are doing something bad, but sometimes, while we are killing ourselves to please someone, what that someone wants might be just one little trivial thing and everyone will be happen.....
I am not excusing your wife of all her ''bad'' behaviors neither is there any need for me to blame/condemn your wife here just to make you feel good since she isn't here to read and i believe you came to NL to find solution to make things work better and not backup/support for the divorce in your mind What else does a stupid and nonsense woman wants after all that was done as mentioned by the husband. She must be mad. Some men are trying sha. Women are not worth the Bleep killing ourselves on. |

But I just wonder if it's ever okay to make little babies up. For me I don't really like the idea of making little babies up. I love nicely done make up on adult women not on kids.
What do you think about exposing little babies to make up at such a tender age? And would you make your little babies up? What nonsense! Kids? she is destroying their future already. Nonsense |

dandydaniels: I am proud of my dad...that real g (rip to his soul) didn't beat my mum...He's a real man
there's a big difference between fear and respect...u can't punch out respect from your wife only fear
the story making rounds in almost every blog site is how teebillz have turned his wife tiwa savage into a punching bag...brother if that's true...I repeat if* that's true.... then you are not a real man
women are lesser beings(fact)....why waste your strength and time beating them? bro c'mon! they are made to be loved...to be bought clothes...jewelries...cars...taken to cool places...pampered...and at night made to sing in tongues to their creator
for the real men out there...let's control our tempers and treat every woman...not just our wives with respect. when it comes to women affairs,my dad is my role model. " never beat a woman son"
STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE shut up your mouth!! all ladies deserves to beaten. they just some stupid bunch of idiots |

""Also worldly dress (wearing tops, blouses that show the trace of your bosoms as a woman or that reveals your back, tight, transparent or shot dress) Many Christian women are tapped by Satan with worldly dress unknowingly but they will know after the rapture. Those who have died have gotten to know already but too late"".
God bless you for the comment above. Our useless ladies, single and married, are now in the habit of wearing revealing dresses all in the name of fashion and money. You shall all face God in heaven for distracting men and even the so called stupid and uncalled pastors who fall victim to seductions. |

Danosophe: How Do You Know? Who Made You Judge Over Another? Are You Born-Again; As Recommended By God In His Word-The Bible (Rom. 10:9-10)? You better give your life to christ and stop all these stipid interrogations. |
