retepmurt: Nigerian oil tycoon, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, is now the richest black woman in the world with an estimated fortune of $7.3 billion.
Mother of four, Alakija, 62, unseats Winfrey as the richest black woman in the world.
According to Forbes, Oprah Winfrey is worth $2.9 billion. Africa boasts 55 billionaires and they’re worth a staggering $143.88 billion in total, according to pan-African magazine Ventures Africa. Alakija started her career as a secretary in a bank in the mid 1970s. She then studied fashion in London and returned to Nigeria to start a label, Supreme Stitches. But her biggest break came in oil. In 1993, her company, Famfa Oil, was awarded an oil prospecting licence, which later became OML 127, one of Nigeria’s most prolific oil blocks.
The company owns a 60-per-cent stake in the block, valued at around $7.3 billion, Ventures Africa has reported.

MalcoImX: Alhaji Asari Dokubo, the leader of the Niger Delta People’s Salvation and Volunteer Front (NDSVF), who is also the founder of King Amachree African University, Republic of Benin, has said President Goodluck Jonathan, the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 Presidential election, has already won.
Asari who spoke at the burial ceremony of Late Princess Preba Abigail Prince Ekineh, Asari’s grandmother organized by the NDSVF, at Buguma in Asari Toru Local Government Area, said it is not possible for the incumbent president who is also from the Niger Delta region to lose the election that returns him for the second term in office.
He said the incumbent president must win the election adding that the election is a walk over. Asari who said he does not know how it will be done maintained that measures have been put in place for the success of the election in favor of the president.
He also said that there is a high level of injustice playing out in Rivers state politics, adding that the political power in the state is supposed to be rotating among the different ethnic nationalities that make up the state. He said power should not be static on one place alone; thereby advocated that power should be shifted to the Ogoni ethnic nationality.
Asari said: “2015 Goodluck Jonathan will win, in whatever way they want him he will win. I am not afraid of anybody. My confidence is that he has already won, but in River state I don’t know because there is injustice in Rivers state.”
“The injustice in Rivers state is that one set of People cannot rule. Rivers state is a multiethnic state and all the ethnic nationalities must have access to government. So whoever is encouraging this perfidy does not mean well for the people because it will explode one day. The only way out is for justice to be done in the state and that means an Ogoni candidate should be feed in all the political parties.” | http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/12/2015-goodluck-jonathan-will-win-whatever-way-asari/ Good. Romance › Re: How A Married Man She Met On BBM Almost Killed Her With Sex And Drugged Drinks by Tunagee(m): 11:33am On Dec 28, 2014 |
john6006: The role of the social media in building relationships and businesses cannot be overemphasised. But the negative aspects seem to be growing with mixed reactions after the death of Cynthia Osokogu who was killed by friends she met on social media.
Since the case of Cynthia went viral, ladies who were before now ashamed to share their experiences in the hands of bad guys have started talking.
Below is the near-death experience a young lady had with a man who was her BBM friend:
I am a girl who has fears, beliefs, reservations and just your regular typical Nigerian girl. This past few weeks has been one hell of a game for me. I have really been unsettled and I thought I share this story with you.
When Cynthia (the lady killed in the hotel room in Festac, Lagos) surfaced on the internet and various news media, I was scared and it brought back a whole lot of memories to me and also served as and eye opener. Many people castigated and criticised Cynthia (may her gentle soul rest in peace), but my point is, it could have been anybody, anybody at all.
We have met people through various social media. Some have ended up well, some have not but with painful memories. To cut the long story short, let me kindly share with you my encounter with social media especially the very popular Blackberry Messenger (BBM).
I am a graduate and currently serving in Kaduna. I could have runced it, but I needed somewhere to clear my head and forget about my ugly encounter. Here is my story.
I happened to have a married man as a contact on my BBM. He had been asking me out for over six months and I refused to date him. As time went on, he invited me clubbing with him when his wife was outside the country, and I went with him all night. We spent most of the night at Swe bar, Lagos.
I also met his clique of friends, married as well with their various mistresses. We had ‘mad’ fun. After all the clubbing and drinking, he lodged me in a hotel somewhere in Obalende. I felt sort of safe with him. We did not have s e’x, but he made sweet love to me and touched me in places I had never ever imagined.
He kissed me passionately but guess what? He did not have s e’x with me. We did all sorts but there was no penetration. So, to an extent, I trusted he was a good person to be around with. I did not know that it was all part of the plan.
He gave me N10,000 and put me in a cab to go home the next morning. We kept talking and chatting and sending na k’ed pictures to each other and he told me naughty things of how he wanted to whisper things in my ear, I blushed. We didn’t see for two weeks and that was because his wife just came back from Turkey.
One faithful evening, he pinged me that he was organising a beach party/boat cruise and that he would love for me to be his date and that he wanted to open a BBM chat, as a medium for his friends and my friends to interact. I was excited about it, I just wanted to have fun. I was able to get five of my very hot friends.
The BBM group opened and we got chatting. I also realise that majority of them were married and working in reputable firms. It was fun and we didn’t mind if they were married, we just wanted to have fun, as well as some other girls apart from my friends in the group.
We chatted exclusively, sent pictures to the BBM group to introduce ourselves, and we had opened group conversations pending the beach party. And as excited as we were, we went shopping for nice s e’xy beach wears.
The D-day finally came, we all assembled at the Lagos Island Boat Club. I was wowed because it was a high class party. We were cruising in a boat loaded with goodies drinks and hot babes, and as well ‘MARRIED MEN’. I did not care, I just said in my mind that I would not roll with married men anymore after this, that for now, all I wanted to do was to catch some fun. After all, I wasn’t paying bills.
We got there, it was a private beach resort. Most of the beach facilities I got to see there were owned by multinational companies. We got out of the boat, and went to where we were partying. It was a duplex made with wood. It was a very nice setting.
I felt comfortable because it even had a fence around it separating it from other beach houses around. So, there was privacy and of course bouncers (heavy looking guys) guarding the place. I said to myself, this must be heaven, I must be dreaming.
Anyways, we felt free with each other because we had been chatting. It was 5:30pm and the party just started. We had drinks flowing from the private bar tender which happens to be owned by one of the men in the group. Reality struck when I realised that I was feeling dizzy and feeling really funny and light headed. Not only me, but other girls around me too noticed there was something strange about it.
I was also feeling Hot as hell! I had been drugged. They monitored us and when they knew the drug had really gone deep into our system, they moved us up into the main beach house. I could still see faces, but was too weak and Hot to react.
Mr B, the man who took me clubbing, carried me in his hands like a sacrifice and put me down on the floor just as other men also did with their girls. We were eight in numbers; 8 girls, 8 guys, and they all stri*ped us down and had s e’x with us.
I enjoyed it a bit because I was Hot. It was a mixed feeling because I cried, I moaned, but I did not know how many times he came into me. He pounded me hard. I was dizzy, but he grabbed me with force. All I could notice was the wedding ring on his finger. I thought of how wicked and miserable some married can be. How inhuman and heartless they could be.
All of them took turns in switching partners and slept with all of us. I passed out. That was the last thing I could remember. I felt water poured on me. I noticed all the other girls around me too were half na k’ed and some stark na k’ed.
We spent the night at the beach, but the men were no where to be found. I looked round me and all I could see was packs of used condoms. I ran to pick my cloths and possibly raise an alarm. I got dressed, found my phone with an envelope. It contained N16,000 and a note asking us to take N2000 each for transport. Tears of anger and rage filled my eyes and the girls around me as well.
“We were drugged and used like tissue paper. I grabbed my phone and noticed a ping came in. I checked my phone and I noticed the BBM group had been deleted, and a message via BBM from MR B came in. He threatened me that if I say a word to anyone, I would regret it.
I told him he was a bastard, and he said try it. A picture came in, several pictures. In fact, they were pictures of us being na k’ed on the floor. Pictures of the humiliating us but they blurred the faces of the men. In total, I got 20 pictures. I was not myself for a month. I went back to school, I had no one to talk to. The rest of the semester was hell for me. My CGPA dropped drastically. It was the worst out of the worst result I ever had.
Till today, my friends and I have not discussed this with anyone, but all I could do when I heard of Cynthia’s story was to narrate my own ordeal anonymously and spread the news, the word, and pray they (ladies who do runs) see it and changed their ways.
I am now born again. I have given my life to Christ. I fear men so much that I cannot even move close to them. I still have nightmares, but with time, God will strengthen me and I will move on. My advice to single ladies out there is, do not be desperate for fun. Pray to God to open your eyes of understanding, and pray hard. He who kneels before God will stand before kings and queens.
To all married women, pray hard to God to intervene in your marriages and turn your husbands from bad habits and bad friends. As for me, I do not think I ever want to get married or date a man again. That chapter has been closed for good in my life.
Please, do not ignore my mail. Please post it. There are a lot of things we ladies need to learn. Please post it on your blog and save a soul. It could be your friend, sister, cousin, neighbour.
God bless you as you pass it on. To all readers, I do not care if you insult me or rain abuses at me. My job is to share this encounter with you and save you from any mishap. God bless you all......

jidxin: I term 2015 as a year of Total Victory and Glory. The way you pray now in 2015 will determine how glorious 2016 will be. NIGERIA: 1. We must pray that there will be election in 2015. I foresee problems coming before the election that may stop the election. What God revealed to me is there will be no election in 2015 if we do not pray to avert it. 2. I see serious violence errupting,we must pray now against the return of military to power. I see the military taking power by force amidst violence. 3. I am repeating this again, the military is secretly planning to return to power. I see a new leader in a military uniform. We need to pray to avert this. 4. We must pray seriously against war in Nigeria. We must pray seriously so that nothing hinders the coming election. 5. If at all there will be election in 2015,I see President Goodluck jonathan returning as president. 6. President Goodluck Jonathan is the last PDP president. 7. I see APC winning seventy percent(70%) of the seats but i see PDP taking the presidency. 8. If at all there will be election,APC will claim to have won the presidential election and will drag PDP to court 9. APC will accuse President Goodluck Jonathan,PDP and INEC for rigging the election in favour of President Goodluck Jonathan, but the court will give it to Goodluck jonathan. 10. There shall be a cry for a re-election. 11. There will be massive rigging here and there. 12. If there will be election in 2015,there will be gross and manipulative conducts in the election. 13. Four northern states will not take part in the election due to terrorist attacks. 14. I see an unknown person(christian) rule lagos. 15. Power tussle between two major parties. 16. There will be a carefully planned plot against President Goodluck Jonathan to harm him. 17. INEC guide your offices,i see bomb sent there! Guide your offices. 18. President Goodluck jonathan has a good agenda and plan for Nigeria but the evil and dirty pigs around him are messing up his work, thereby making him a victim of public shame. 19. Rotimi Amaechi be careful and prayerful against troubles. 20. Owelle Rochas be very careful. You wil be betrayed by APC. 21. Tinubu, your health. Please check your health. I foresee disagreement between you and your mentee, fashola. 22. Desmond Elliot,God has remembered you. Be more prayerful, and rely not on human strenght. 23. We should pray seriously against break up. 24. Nigeria will eventually become the pride of the World. 25. Our airports are porous. Security should be tightened. 26. Enugu pray, pray for your land. Pray for your women. 27. Lets pray for our heroes, icons, elder statesmen/women against sudden death. 28. There will be massive arrests and imprisonment of human right activists. 29. Total change of cabinet. 30. Electricity will be stable in Nigeria come 2016. 31. In 2015,the mighty will fall. 32. Confusion between Nigeria and cameroun. 33. Unusual kidnappings. 34. Many ritualists, kidnappers will be caught. 35. Massive deaths. 36. In 2015,the die hards will be crushed, the untouchables will be touched. 37. Triple bomb explosions will rock major cities in Nigeria. 38. Building collapse. 39. Sporadic killings, fire raging and burnings in public places. 40. I see the ibru family in court again. The bank issue not over..trying to re-claim ownership. 41. Bank reforms on going. 42. Serious rainfall at the middle of the year. 43. Strange wind blowing off roofs, building collapse. 44. ASUU you’re getting more corrupt, beware of trouble. INDIVIDUAL: 45. There shall be huge laughter and celebrations in many homes. 46. Massive restoration. 47. This would be a year of divine encounter with God for many. 48. Many homes will experience divine visitation. 49. A year of total recovery and restoration. 50. What you lost shall be restored. 51. Many witches/wizard/cultists shall be exposed, disgraced and judged by God. 52. Forgotten dreams will be actualized. 53. Some difficult situations shall receive quick and instant answers to prayers. Many will be car owners. 54. All hope is not lost for the jobless, many shall find miracle jobs. 55. Sudden promotion beyond imagination. 56. A sincere cry to God will be speedily answered. 57. NOLLYWOOD/MUSICIANS: 64. Nollywood still pray for your members. Pray against deaths for your members, also top musicians and entertainers. 65. Pray against scandals that will affect them internationally. 66. A particular artiste will be accused of theft. 67. Some will also be arrested for smuggling drugs. 68. God says many are into lesbianism, homosexualism and occultism for fame and power. Unless you come together and cry to God in repentance, you will be in open shame. 69. Pray against heartbreaks in relationships, divorces, sicknesses and deaths. 70. God says some are into covenants with the devil and presently experiencing the consequences. Unless you repent and cry to God,more will keep going. THE CHURCH: 71. Many occultic churches/ministries and preachers will be exposed and disgraced. 72. Ritualists parading themselves as preachers but are kidnappers, defilers and ritualists shall be exposed. 73. Mind where you go for prayers. I see one collapsing and dying in a church and that will lead to serious allegations. 74. Some ministries/churches will gain international recognition. I see God using them to perform unusual miracles that will stand them out. 75. Mighty revival explosion in Auchi. 76. This is a warning to those who talk recklessly against anointed men/women of God. This year make sure you don’t try it as God’s judgement will come suddenly on people this year. Whatever you don’t understand,it is better to keep quiet and pray instead of criticizing or insulting preachers. May your destiny not be cut short in Jesus’ name. God will defend his servants this year… 77. Revival will emerge in CAC. God is raising an evangelist like Apostle joseph Babalola. 78. God says Assemblies of God,Nigeria will come out from its present crisis. God will thoroughly purge and weed out all fake prophets and then finally restore all. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT: The government should consider the following areas and effect changes where necessary: A. Education: This should be taken seriously B. SECURITY: Ensure that people are safe, propertiessafe too. This will encourage investors to come. C. Create avenues for job security for school leavers and job seekers. D. ELECTRICITY: Citizens, investors need this. E. AGRICULTURE: Encourage citizens to get involved in this. Support those in need of finance to do this. F. INVENTIONS/INDUSTRY: Encourage the youths to invent things with supervision. Celebrate our locally made products and promote it by exporting them rather than importing things every now and then. G. Allow individuals to excercise their human rights without harrassments from the police etc. H. Stop all forms of corruption starting from the top to the least government official. I. Allow each state to manage its resouces to the best of their abilities. Every state should be allowed to have storage centres where their resources are stored and managed for the betterment of their states and people. Some percentage could be remitted to the Federal. This will make it easier for states to grow and manage their resources effectively hereby removing unecessary burdens on the Federal. INTERNATIONAL: 79. Scientific breakthroughs. 94. There will be more inventions in 2015 95. The issue of terrorism shall become a major concern to be handled. 96. South Africa your country needs serious prayers against more deaths. Your leaders have turned away from God. Repent now and God will heal your land. 97. Jacob Zuma,i see people accusing your government and policies. I see serious allegations against you that could threaten the peace there. Many are against your return to power. 98. Efforts should be made in South Africa to stop kidnapping and robbery especially at the airports.

lalasticlala: 5 years ago, precisely May 2009, Nigerian pop stars, Terry G (Gabriel Amanyi) and AY.com (Ayoola Johnson) released the hugely successful tune, ‘Pass me your love’ and not long after, they parted ways over allegations and counter allegations based on the ownership of the song.
Ay.com went on to release more singles like ‘Jombolo’, ‘Komagbon’ and others while Terry G also moved on with his career but since then, both singers have refused to have anything to do with each other and efforts to bring them together by mutual friends had been futile.
That was until last night when popular show promoter, Alex Ozone stepped in and settled the rift. It is worthy of note that before they parted ways, Terry G and Ay.com were best buddies and they made great songs together. Now they are both back in the studio and have just recorded a new hit single produced by Young D shortly after they settled the issue yesterday, December 16, 2014.
Speaking exclusively to NET, Alex Ozone said: ‘I called both of them separately to have a meeting with them without letting the other person know, so they both came at about the same time and surprisingly met themselves at the studio. Before now we’ve tried settling the issue but it’s never been successful, but I guess they are both matured now because they both have families and so they shook hands and that was it. To make sure everything was truly over, we made them record a song together because Young D had initially produced a beat for Terry G and trust me, the song is fantastic.’
The new song recorded by Terry G and Ay.com will be released before the year runs out.
