people still dey rate elrufai? A brilliant man with foul personality. An embodiment of everything Nigeria should avoid at this moment, selfish, tribalistic, egocentric, speaks to others in a condescending manner, greedy, manipulative, nepotistic, vile, divisive and many more. A total waste of brilliance.

I agree completely, Obi is the best but I see him doing very well in 2027, not 2023.

Unfortunately Wike is also already eyeing 2027 as well.
I am also not sure how convincingly Atiku can win the North so fingers crossed.
u see this thing u said here, this is why i keep begging Nigerian voters, please vote right in 2023, because really the next realistic opportunity for change is 2031(Atiku and Tinubu are not men to toy with power when they get it). if Tinubu wins, opposition is dead, he will appeal to every useful politician in the opposition..that is what he does best, eliminating competition for himself.
Wike should forget it, i am not sure he has the temperament to get him up there, he fights and abuse people so much, he says it as it is(good quality but does that work in politics)

Good, ur opinion is well thought but that is also the reason there seems no pathway for Tinubu to the 2023 presidency, He will do very well in the S/w and do very badly in other regions. He ll not get 35% in the North because the northern governors don't decide the voting patten in the north but a cult of religions leaders and ex generals. Remember how the governor's couldn't save Jonathan in 2015? Many of them like Dankwabo of Gombe lost their places for supporting GEJ.
And there will be massive turnout in the S/East because they see hope of Obi emerging. And Atiku ll do very well there if not win most states.
So in a nutshell Atiku after winning the north will do very well in the S/S and S/E, that is 5 out of six regions. And u need only 4 regions to win elections in Nigeria.
Tinubu's undoing is that he built bridges only in the S/w and north. He completely ignored the s/s and s/e before now and the north don't do friendship when it comes to power.
i see your points clearly. If things turn out as you have just suggested, then clearly Atiku takes it, I am of the opinion that Atiku will win the North, how convincingly is what i am not sure of..I get it that the governors support most likely wont be enough to give Tinubu victory in the north but it will give him something substantial.
Atiku in the SE, second for sure but will he do well? Atiku may win the SS... but Obi is strong here and it wont be convincing.....
Obi will spoil market for Tinubu too in the South West. we will see though, Obi over Atiku over Tinubu for me (if wishes were horses).
Actually of all of them, only Atiku cuts across the entire country in political reach. and that is a big advantage

Tinubu ll win all s/west and parts of N/central + Borno and Yobe.

Obi will win maybe one or two S/East states max

Atiku will win majority Northern votes including the three big Ks + S/South.

Anybody thinking Obi will win south south ll be greatly disappointed.

2023 is Atiku's time.
Now imagine this scenario
Tinubu wins 60% SW ahead of Obi(20%) Atiku(20%)
Atiku wins north by 45% against Tinubu's second of say 35% then Kwankwaso and Obi(20%) (dont say Tinubu 35% isnt possible he has a lot of governors on his side)
Will Atikus performance in the SS be able to cover this deficit from Tinubu's good showing in the north, considering the SS is not all clear for Atiku himself(APC decent in bayelsa, Obi winning something substantial in Edo, Wike trying to play spolier for Atiku in rivers .
The government is playing a game now with Nnamdi Kanu and the next thing we will hear is that IPOB will say no election in the east(high voter apathy in a zone where Atiku should be second)
My opinion is that the elction will be decided by how well you can do in the places where you come second....I am not sure it is so clear that Atiku is coming

divinehand2003:
Atiku will win the north.
Tinibu will win the West.
Obi will win the South south and East.
North Central contain the swing states that can go anywhere.
who will be second in the north and by what margin is very much important and I think thats what will be an advantage for Tinubu...
the government is already making moves to frustrate IPOB. That may lead IPOB to say no election in some places in the east, ofcourse there will be election but people will be scared and there will bea high voter apathy......So Obi's surest zone would have been systematically rigged...Atiku's second position in that zone too is affected.
So will Atiku do as good in the south west as Tinubu will do in the North. considering he is still at loggerheads with Oyo state governor, Fayose in ekiti wont work for him, PDP is technically useless in Lagos. I doubt he will make the same impact as what Tinubu will do in the north....Kogi n Kwara n maybe nasarrawa may go Tinubus way, Plateau Benue may be between Atiku n Obi.
Atiku's unwillingness to settle with Makinde, Wike and Ortom may cost him a lot.....

exactly. APC is seeking relection on the back of a terrible tenure, with a candidate that has shades around his image coupled with health challenges, and suspected{clear for all to see} inability to coordinate thoughts and expression. then they decided to add to it the baggage of a one/faith ticket...be like who dem warn burn wey still dey use petrol play...
the situation they find themselves makes it difficult for them to even play that propaganda n division game they know how to play effectively....ordinarily APC and Tinubu that we know would be all over the press saying people should not vote for one region to rule for 12 straight years..but dem no born am well to talk am, it is the vote of that region he wants to use to win the election, he cant say anything that will offend the same set of people he is using the same faith ticket to appease.....particularly when the christian north has turned against them already

if Nigerian voters can be a bit analytical, these are the reasons they should not vote for anyone from APC to become president in 2023, whether Jagaban or whoever howcan u vote for a party that failed u for 8 year....aand u say u expect things to change....na continuity u vote for be that..continuity of whatever is happening at the moment

How do you people feel telling lies to yourself? You talked about tribe but didn't consider religion. Which is more important to you between tribe and religion? Three-quarter of Christians are not going to vote Kleptomaniac-Terrorist ticket and Muslims votes are divided into four. Even a well-meaning tribalist will not vote Tinubu. Definitely, Tinubu has loosed this election before campaign started
Although,no Nigerian can say he is completely insulated from the consequences of the actions of whoever becomes president, but i can tell you that my own in the matter na very small, so i have no reasons to tell lies to myself. That aside, a greedy, unhealthy person(that should be resting) will never be my choice to dominate the affairs of Nigeria, i only tried to analyze the contest logically. It will be a pleasant surprise if Oyo people decide not to vote Tinubu, particularly with Seyi Makinde's body language

you seem not to understand Oyo State. It is always a different ball game seriously. Check the results of 2019 presidential election. Oyo people are tired of APC government.
I checked it in presidency Apc 365k pdp 366k. When it came to governorship apc 357k pdp 515k.
It was almost 50-50 in the presidential and Don't forget it was a northerner vs another northerner, our people have not really grown, tribalism will play a role now. Another factor is Makinde, the biggest influencer in Oyo state right now, not ready to campaign for Atiku. It is a very big deal.

you are never living in Oyo State, If you are living in oyo State, you won’t be saying all this things. As it stands today, Pdp has 100% votes for Atiku/Okowa and Seyi Makinde of Pdp. Same thing will happened in Osun State. The People’s mind have been made up and they are voting out APC from power in 2023. APC has further divided cos’ of teslim greed. Even accord party in oyo state is more popular than APC in oyo state. Ask the people around .
Of course I know for sure Teslim stands nò chance against Makinde, no chance at all. The presidency I think will be a different ball game, it's unfortunate Atiku is finding it difficult to settle with Makinde and that will cost him a lot of votes. Makinde opening his mouth alone to say please vote for Atiku will get Atiku additional 100k votes. People in the villages follow instruction of the leaders they like

100% voting strength for Atiku/Okowa presidential bid in oyo State. 100% voting strength for Seyi Makinde of Oyo State in March 11th, 2023 governorship Election in Pdp. Seyi E da in Ibadan people’s voice.
For presidency, I think APC will carry the day in Oyo state but like u said Atiku will get something substantial which is a big plus for him. About Makinde's Second term? I am so sure Folarin is just doing this to get a good appointment, hoping Tinubu will become president. If he genuinely thinks he will unseat Makinde, then he must be a joker.
