I don't know if the current governor has enough structure to challenge Aliero and Abdullahi would be really hard for APC in this state
Politics › Re: Dogara, Lawal, Aliero Move To Adopt Consensus candidate by tunapawizzy: 5:02am On Oct 10, 2022
APC destined to lose in 2023, the only way APC would win is if Atiku isn't the candidate of PDP, if it was Osinbajo or Amaechi or even Lawan that apC picked, it would still be a big loss.

You want to play the religious card in a Muslim dominated North?. let's watch how it goes.
Do you know that both Dogara and Babachair Lawal could not have gotten to where they are without their Muslim benefactors?
So do you honestly think in a Muslim dominated north, they will prefer to vote for a Muslim southerner Tinubu instead of a Muslim northerner Atiku, just because Tinubu chose shettima......Unfortunately for APC the only northerner that can defeat Atiku in the north is not eligible to contest

It is rather unfortunate no one really digest their reasons for voting *No*. It is actually asking the colonial masters for reparation for years of slavery. It is going to be a concern for any reasonable nation. Until we all decided to forgive these colonial masters about them paying us for years of slavery. Moreover, if they pay us back, black nations leaders
will still loot it; where are all the Abacha loot?
ok so because there is no legal justification for reparation, the wisest thing for them to do is throw out the baby with the bath water. They voted NO beacause in their minds They want to safeguard freedom of expression, throwing away right to human dignity. Im not kuku pained, na people wey dey rate them i pity. Between right to human dignity and freedom of expression, both are very important but which be prioritized and made to accomodate the other

Lets face the reality, we as a people are not developing our society as we should, very poor infrastructure, The focus should be on how to make our environment the best for everyone, there is no time to cry victim or to be stuck in the victim mentality. grin grin grin

If they want to be a victim and keep crying like babies until the end of the world let me help you cry better and more, where are the racist insults again
just imagine the insults

I am surprised that people are surprised. An oppressor will never use his hands to set the one he is oppressing free. Never going to happen. The only way the oppressed nations will come out of this is to develop your own land and dictate your terms of engagement with the west. Otherwise they will enslave you forever. Have sense and be like china

Politics › Re: Multiple Voting, Rigging No Longer Possible - INEC by tunapawizzy: 1:36pm On Oct 09, 2022
happney65:
The truth is,since the 2011 election and the process started by the Yaradua administration, elections keeps on getting better year by year and next year will definitely not be an exception.

With Buhari's body language showing he wants to give us free and fair election majorly because he knows himself his name don spoil and wants to be in the good books of Nigerians,he might just look away and let the process play out fairly.

In Osun he looked away, unlike 2018 when they needed Tinubu, they had to rig Osun at all cost but that did not happen this year.

Politicians themselves know things are getting harder and elections are getting harder to rig that is why they are going the route of massive vote buying. But in a general election, how many polling booth do you want to buy votes? How many? That is why vote buying is majorly done in staggered elections like Ekiti, Osun, etc
In a situation of oppression, looking away is not enough. He should not look away, he should use his powers to ensure people with power n money do not use those privileges to intimidate others. That's the only way it will be said that he delivered a free n fair election. In 2018 the rigging wasn't inec changing numbers, it was police looking the other way when apc blocked people from getting to the voting units except they are sure u r for apc. In 2019 police n military were brought in heavily in Rivers to support activities of Amaechi on election day, the people resisted it became violent n bloody, people stayed away from voting.
If people can't vote from the comfort of their homes through electronic means, then the amount of scrutiny put on inec should also be put on security officials. State commissioners of police are always loyal to state governors who give them a lot of financial support. That has to change.

I know there's so much talk about letting people spend their money they want to, but most time it just doesnt make sense, however you look at it, the rich should be made to pay to subsidize the poor, the governement should do more, when i say the poor, i mean the REAL poor(those who cant afford to feed, go to school, take care of their health, those who sleep under the bridge, thos who cant afford to put a decent roof over their heads, there should be social support homes

Really unfortunate... The Debt Servicing is too high.
that is not even the most unfortunate..we can even forgive the sins of yesterday and make better decisions going forward, how about the need to borrow 50% of the budget again...which means debt servicing next year will be more next year
Politics › Re: Proposed ₦19.76 Trillion Budget Breakdown For The Year 2023 by tunapawizzy:

Debt servicing - N5.35tr

Capital expenditure - N5.35tr

So their only plan before the expiration of this miserable administration is to borrow more money and loot all without doing anything.

Hard days ahead
and they will still borrow another N10tr to finance this budget, this is like collecting grooming to pay LAPO....
naija na cruise, Hard days ahead indeed, i really pity those that will not be out of Nigeria in the next 5 to 10 yrs and beyond, this doesnt look good at all. You are going to service debt with 25% of your budget and you will still need to borrow almost 50% of the current budget and they are not making moves to increase revenue
- 40% of dat recurrent isnt neecessary(goes to excessive&needless spending by d presidency & national assembly) that can save us N3tr
- the generated revenue of N11tr is because the governement is not efficient in managing our resources and stealing/wastage of resources by government income generating agencies (NNPC, NIMASA, CUSTOMS, stolen crude oil, even the ones not generating income are wasting funds on unecessary things) . To be conservative, efficient management should give us additional N4tr
-lets not even talk of the N5.3tr on capital expenditure, the nation will get value for just N3tr, as contracts are inflated and padded so kickbacks can be given to head of supervising agencies... N2tr lost in value

AT this level of productivity we have no business borrowing more than 2 to 3trillion. The problem is that the presidency will not cut cost and lead by example....and do what is needed
