this is the truth Tinubu people do not want to hear....Atiku will defeat Tinubu in the North as a whole...Atiku will defeat Tinubu in SS and SE....Tinubu will however defeat Atiku in SW.....will Tinubu's SW margin be enough to upturn Atiku's advantage in those other places?....I dont think so becaue Obi's performance in the SW will prevent a landslide for Tinubu in the SW..
Kwankwaso performance in the north will just do to Atiku what Obi performance will do to Tnubu in the SW

The truth is tribe plays a very prominent role in our politics and eventual vote determination.

My predictions by zone.

NE - Atiku will take the zone
NC - Tinubu will take 1/4 & the remaining will go to Atiku.
NW - Atiku will take 3/4 & Kwankwaso will take the remainder.
SW - Tinubu will take the zone
SE - Obi will take the zone
SS - Atiku will take 3/4 while Obi takes the remaining.

I forsee a Runoff BTW Atiku & Tinubu.

If that happens, Atiku will win cos of the votes that Peter Obi took in round one, will eventually return to the original party, Thereby giving Atiku the win

there wont be a runoff between APC and PDP, both of them will get the required spread...there can only be runoff if LP wins majority vote because only LP may not have enough spread but win majority. Atiku will have at least 25% in all the northern states including Abuja plus maybe delta, edo, osun, and one more state. Tinubu will have at least 25% in all northern states plus all SW states . If any these 2 gets the majority vote, no rerun..But u are right about the bolded..incase there is a runoff between Atiku and Tinubu(which i doubt) Atiku will win

The combine of both that couldn't defeat APC in 2019.

Personality of Buhari was a factor too in 2019 and 2015. Thats a northern hero. But the reality is Obi has eaten into the votes of both of them. PDP will do better in the north than it did against Buhari, LP will take the entire SE away from PDP, LP will be impressive in the Southwest(not win), PDP won't do particularly well, the SS will be a tough one between PDP and LP.
The only way Tinubu wins this election is to either win the north or be a very CLOSE second to Atiku and win the SW overwhelmingly at the same time.
The choice of shettima is a big source of casualty for Tinubu. The core north u want to appease with the choice of a Muslim vice will most likely not leave Atiku a Muslim northerner to vote for u because u have Muslim vice.

We have a shared purpose. Anyone's choice is not fruitless even if the one they support loses.

Fair. Now what they ask for is the chairmanship of the party to be given to the south, so it will not be a North north affair...north candidate, north party chairman.
