Unpopular opinion : Except for the illegality of collecting salaries after resigning , 1 million before tax is fair and equitable. That is the reality of Nigeria . do you know how many people on managerial levels or even assistant managerial levels in organizations that collect over 1 million ? ASUU should keep fighting hard for their salaries . Private universities pay more than that . Government should pay more to lecturers . Yes in an ideal situation 1m before tax should not sound like something out of the ordinary, but 1million before tax for a media Aide when professors, teachers, policemen, soldiers, nurses do not earn 500k gross. I am not sure a full director of the federal ministry with almost 30years of service earn up to 600k gross a month, I would be pleasantly surprised if they earn up to 500k. U cannot justify 1m for an aide when u look at the Nigerian society as a whole
